the house was warm, welcoming, nicely decorated and styles and convenient. The beds were very comfortable and there was a generous pack of food, tea, coffee, cereal and milk and apple juice in the fridge. The whole booking and moving in process was easy and simple and communications with the owners was efficient and helpful.
The only issue we had was that the photos on the website had lead us to believe the house had two double bedrooms as opposed to one double and a single room with bunk beds. the problem has arisen because the owner has two cottages next door to one another and they are advertised together. Luckily one of the adults in our party , our son in law, had flu and could not make it. In the end our daughter and her two young children moved out somewhere else, which was a shame. I would recommend a bit more clarity about the bedroom set up of each cottage on the website and that there are two next door to each other. Thank you.

A beautiful little terraced cottage right on the village green. Although it is well appointed with everything you may need, there really is no need to cook, as there is a great village cafe at the end of the terrace and also only 1 minutes walk from a lovely pub that serves great food.

Lovely sun filled cosy cottage surrounded by fabulous walking and cycling routes. All the benefits of friendly village with access to town facilities 10 minutes drive away. House very well equipped for cooking etc and lovely new bathroom. Hired Monique’s bike which had great gearing for the hills so could explore the surrounding villages and cafes via the stunning country lanes.
Take spare shoes for the garden as lots of sticky berries on the ground.

From the Hamper to the little details, this place is a gem, I would definitely recommend it and would stay again if the opportunity arose. The pub does great food and being across the road is a bonus. The courtyard Garden is a great place to relax and very private. Parking is great and the cafe at the end of the row of cottages is delightful.

Welcome pack;
House was well stocked;
Cleanliness.
Far too many house / conduct rules and demands placed on guests.
Remote location with no village shops.
Parking at rear too awkward to park comfortably.
Price per night didn't reflect condition of property and location.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and well stocked cottage.
Lovely cafe a few doors away in a very pretty village.

The green location, spacious cottage. Equipments in kitchen. We were supplied with fresh bed cover and towels weekly. Internet was reliable, I could work fine without interruption. Always could find a car park spot opposite the cottage. The bed and mattress were ok. Quiet neighbourhood and green fields around.
We could not feel the difference when used the heating between 19 degrees and the maximum permitted 21 degrees. The front door and windows let the heat out and possibly the lack of insulation. Our hands were cold all the time we stayed inside, so in winter it might be for those who prefer room temperature. Lot of spider webs we found and some maintenance required on bathroom taps. Sofas were uncomfortable.

Very cute 2 bedroom cottage with everything you need and bed so comfortable.
Has a great local shop/coffee shop down the road (1 min way) and the pub across road.
A traditional fish & chip van stops in the village on Friday fortnightly - highly recommend...
Sittingbourne train station, shops and supermarkets are short drive away - approx 12 mins away
nothing...

Pretty little cottage that suited us well. We had lovely walks straight across the green and onto footpaths - perfect for dog walking. Lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Helpful to have the toys and equipment for our young grandson. The focus on eco products and recycling was good.
Being really picky the air fresheners were too over powering for me.

Such a gorgeous, picturesque cottage! The most thoughtful accommodation with fresh bread, milk etc. So many lovely little touches that just made you feel special. Really wonderful. Thanks!
We were travelling with our dog and it was quite a hot time. Maybe a fan would be useful for the very unusually warm days (on the rare occasion we do get them!)

Cosy, rustic feel to the cottage. Great location right on the village green and very near cafe, shop and pub. Felt like home from home! Delicious homemade bread and jam in welcome basket!
Floorboards were bit slippery and some were wobbly/uneven to walk on. Couldn't find any cushions for garden chairs. No books and not many games, but maybe that was due to covid..

Excellent location. Quiet, centrally located to the towns and villages of Kent . The cottage had lots of personal touches and felt very much like home from home.
