The AC was not working. We looked at the guests book and this was an ongoing problem, along with many others. It is on the water, but very difficult to enter there. It is surrounded by an unsafe neighborhood, as we were told by a neighbor. We were urged to not leave at night. There was construction scaffolding between us and the water next door. We left and found wonderful lodging at the Tamarind Reef. Highly recommend it! Great for food, entertainment, and snorkeling.

We had a great time! The owners were responsive. Robin was great to deal with. Condo has amazing neighbors. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely rent this property again. Couldnt have asked for a better smoother experience with a vrbo.

Great location right on the beach! Great amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. All the chaos and such we needed for the beach. Nice, clean, well- appointed condo. Totally recommend.

The condo is right on the beach, with a fabulous view of the ocean from the living room. We liked that it was within walking distance to a good restaurant (The Palms). Enjoyed relaxing on the patio, watching the crashing waves. Very close to Christiansted where you'll find dining and shopping. About 20-30 minutes to the west side of the island, where you can find some of the best beaches on the island, and watch for a green flash at sunset (they occur when the horizon is unobstructed by clouds). Robin, the property manager was very responsive and friendly.

This property was amazing! Just steps to the Caribbean Sea! So well equipped with beach and bath towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, even sunscreen. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, dishes, pots and pans, even spices and seasonings. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The outdoor living space was excellent with lounge chairs as well as a dining table and chairs. We spent a lot of time outside listening to the sea. The pool was beautiful and large but the water was cold! The surrounding area is quiet and within walking distance to a small beach and restaurant. Less than a mile to a gas station and convenience store. Many other great restaurants and stores just a few miles away by car. There is even a large selection of books that can be borrowed in the condo’s common area. I highly recommend this property!

It was wonderful. Have to beware of the turtle beds in front of the property. Don't break the rules using white lights at night or the neighbors get upset. The property manager talked us through the island ins and outs for the most part to make sure our stay was the best. Great place to stay, nice and centralized on the island.

This condo was awesome. It was well stocked with everything you need: Spices, oil, coffee filters, plates bowls, cookware (one with teflon), beach towels, cooler, folding chairs, comfortable furniture, king-sized bed, pool on the ocean, etc. It is on the ground floor so we could walk straight out to the ocean. Loved sitting on the patio listening to the waves crashing. This is more of a listening beach and not a swimming beach since there are lots of rocks and the water is rough. Less than a 10 minute drive to swimming beaches and the boardwalk with lots restaurants and bars in Christiansted. Recommend getting a car to go to some of the best beaches and Fredericksted (snorkeling at the pier there was awesome).

The condo was exactly as presented in the listing. The kitchen very well equipped. We absolutely loved being on the ground floor with the enclosed outdoor space and the outdoor patio area where you can walk right out to the sand. We found the neighbors to be very nice and friendly as well. It's an easy drive into Christiansted for restaurants.

From the moment we entered the condo, we were blown away by the beauty of the waves and sand right outside the unit, as pictured. The room sixes were generous, except for the kitchen, but it was more than adequate. And it was equipped with everything you could want, from spices to aluminum foil to leftover dishes, a blender, etc. Really, just bring your essentials! When getting take out, the portions were huge. Unless you have big eaters, one main course and a couple of extra sides are plenty. Try LaReine Chicken Shack, Blues & BBQ (both close by), Rainbow Grill (Fredrickstad), and Soin Farm Distillery for vodka flights / tours / lunch. Downside: The pool. It is big, very clean, but FREEZING!!! If you were willing to get in, you could not stay in for more than five minutes before your teeth were chattering! I asked the maintenance man if the temperature could be turned up, and was told the manager would not do that. This was a major problem for me, as water aerobics is my main form of exercise due to a back injury, and we chose this place partly because of the pool. ☹️ So, overall, if you want a great place to relax, this is it. If you want walkable shops and restaurants, not so much. But the neighbors were great, Robin the property manager was fantastic and very helpful in making check in easy and answering questions ahead of time. We won’t definitely consider a return, especially if the pool temperature issue is fixed!

Although the complex itself was dated, the place was clean and well equipped. Convenient location, and Robin was quick to respond with any questions. Had a great stay.

The condo was very clean but the property pictures for the outside needs to be updated. The beach is covered in rock so we had to go other places for beach. Also, the exterminator showed up on our last day and sprayed the condo. Something that could have waited until the next day. This is a good place to stay but one will have to go out on the island for beach area

We enjoyed our stay at this property. St Croix is beautiful this time of the year. Communication with Robin was really good- especially when she had to relocate us when the AC unit froze up and the unit had a water leak. We eventually was able to return to the unit. Loved the ocean and collecting sea glass. Everyone was very nice.

We had a great stay! The beach was literally right out the back patio, had chairs, coolers, pretty much anything you would need for beach! A/C had some glitches but got to them ASAP!! I have no complaints at all!! Great vaca

The condo and this unit are convenient and comfortable. Though the beach is not conducive to swimming it is great to walk and there is a good area to swim about a quarter mile up the beach. There is a pool there but two of the three times we have stayed there it has been under repair so be sure to ask specifically about it since the property manager is not forthcoming with information affecting your stay and good with excuses and what you want to hear. I will stay here again, just a lot wiser!

The patio walks out to the ocean, with great views of the sea and Buck Island in the distance. Know that the beach outside your door is not swimmable due to rocks but a 5 minute walk away is Pelican Cove beach which we enjoyed visiting our first night. This is a "ground floor" unit but from the parking lot you walk up 3 steps and down 6 steps to get to the front door, just in case you have any mobility issues. It's also 2-3 steps down to the beach from the patio. A dedicated parking space is located near the entry to the unit's condo building. The unit was exactly as described / pictured. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer and really anything you could need. Closets had some beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels, beach totes, and fins. There is also really good wifi in the unit, though that's not advertised in the listing. The water gets really hot and had decent water pressure in both showers. The second bathroom has a standing shower, but the primary bathroom has a nicely sized walk in shower. There is a TV in the living room with lots of tv channels. The front door seems to "stick" so we actually used the secondary entry door that enters into the secondary bedroom all week instead since it was far easier to lock/unlock. We did see small roaches in the kitchen on the counters but they seem to live behind the stove and only came out a couple of times, hopefully something the property manager can take care of before future visits, but just a heads up! The pool was closed during our stay as it is waiting on maintenance and then to be filled but we've heard this should be fixed soon, again something to be aware of. I had to reach out a few days before our trip to get information on check in since it was posted in VRBO, but the property owners connected me with the property manager, Robin, who made a same time zoom meeting appointment with me to review everything which was great. Once on island, check in and out were both very easy and contactless and they even allowed a 1-hour extension on checkout.

This condo is in the perfect area right in the center of everything. The home was very clean and had everything that you will need for you stay. Owner was very informative and made everything run smoothly. Will stay here again for sure!

The condo was clean and had everything you could possibly need. It is exactly as described. The microwave was not working but it was no big deal. The only thing that we really had problems with was that the pool was closed for maintenance. Wish we would have known we would have booked elsewhere.

This condo had everything needed for a perfect vacation. The condo is right on the beach and has all the amenities including things for the beach, fully stocked kitchen and a pool just a few steps from the condo. The property manager was very gracious and attentive. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took morning walks through the neighborhood and explored a different part of the island each day. The condo was as listed, clean, and provided easy access to Christiansted, as well as other parts of the island. The property managers were readily available if we had questions, and Robin did a great job meeting us at the airport, guiding us to the condo, and giving us an overview of the property, area, and island.

Central location / Clean / Well equipped / Beautiful views as described. Highly recommend to friends & relatives without hesitation. Management staff very responsive to any needs.

We had such a lovely time over the past week! The owners are great, and easy to work with. Lauri even helped us out of a bit of a bind once! You wake up each morning to the crashing surf as the sea is right at your doorstep. Unit was clean, efficient, and no-fuss. Check in was a breeze. Robin met us at Food Town and we drove from there. (I wouldn't recommend Food Town for shopping though as Plaza Extra is a better deal/selection.) The unit has everything you need and the grill really puts out some heat. Note there is no tub (which makes sense for an island) so we brought a small inflatable one to bathe our little one in. The kitchen has your basic amenities though I wished I had brought one of my good fry pans from home as the ones you encounter in rentals are always a little finicky. No matter. I would strongly recommend renting a car as the location of the unit is a bit secluded, and doesn't lend itself too much walking to destinations. Pelican Cove being the only exception. The beach out the back door is not a swimming beach mind you (lots of rocks and high surf), and the stip of sand is small, but only a few units front it, and luckily this is one of them. (Check out Cane Bay for a truly tropical beach feel.) Neighbors were great, especially Bill and Angie in unit 101 whom we hung out with at least once each evening! In sum, this place is a great value for dollar in a picturesque tropical location.

Staying at the La Grande Princess was a lovely, quiet and convenient location on St. Croix. The ocean front condo was just as the pictures described. Rolling waves right outside the property were mesmerizing. It’s very close to many attractions and beautiful beaches. The pool was really nice and clean. Snorkeling at Buck Island was fantastic!! There are many wonderful restaurants in downtown Christiansted which is only a 10 minute drive.

Nice waves on beachfront. Not a swimmable beach, but great for relaxing and enjoying the view. Palm tree does provide some shade as well which is nice. Our stay was in early June 2019 and pool was out of service for repair which was unfortunate. Condo is quite roomy with comfy bed and very nice amenities like dish soap, trash bags, Kleenex, etc. Very nice swimmable beach just a short drive away at Pelican Cove where you can get drinks or lunch while enjoying the beautiful aqua ocean. We would return to this condo.
