King and Queen was Ace

The accommodation was well appointed and overlooked a parking area at the rear of the pub. We were there on a Wednesday, which was quiet. Very good value for money. The food served in the pub was great, and they have a good range of wines, beers and lagers.

Whilst not a problem for us - We were in an upstairs room accessed by a narrow staircase which may be an issue for anyone with reduced mobility.

A great one night stay.

Great value, comfy bed and it was a real bonus having a fridge in the room. The room was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly too.

We didn't eat in the pub as the meals seemed over-priced.

Enjoyable stay

Room was in a building behind the pub. It was spacious and bathroom was nice. Also enjoyed a good meal and pint in the bar which got livelier as evening went on. Also provision of breakfast items like cereal and yougart was good.

I would definatly stay here again

Property was lovely, comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the room was great.

I got to the hotel at about 8.30 and food wasn’t available.

We were extremely happy with our stay at this price point. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast, tea, and coffee items were all available in the room and there was also a fridge and a good sized tv. The room isn't large but it was comfortable enough and great for the price (we paid just over 50GBP on a Wednesday night). Check-in was really easy and free, on-site, parking was literally right outside the door. The pub and restaurant are right next door if you want some food and drink. It is conveniently located to visit places in the southeast and there is a train station within an easy walk with services to London Victoria that take approx an hour. We were very happy with our stay and would consider staying here again if we are in the area.

Cleanliness. Helpful, friendly staff. The “en suite” breakfast!

Only one chair. Room could have been warmer on arrival, but warmed up once we switched on radiators

Great room, just a shame about other guests noise.

The room was very comfortable and clean with good facilities.

Unfortunately, room 1 next to me were up an down stairs slamming doors all night and well into the morning. I didn't end up getting much good sleep because of this...

So glad I found this place! Very comfortable bed, lovely warm, and super speedy Wi-Fi (if you need to work). Away from the pub so it's also very quiet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Walking distance from East Malling station.

Easy to use, fabulously clean, good WiFi, nicely considered breakfast

Spotlessly clean & well thought out

There was nothing bad I can say about the place it was lovely, (it would have been nice to check out an hour later, could do with USB sockets & maybe curtains rather than blinds) but they are more suggestions for minor improvements, it was great value for money.

Look no further than The King and Queen for somewhere to stay in this area.

There was a breakfast tray in the room, which for me is absolutely excellent as I am always away early before, and if, "seated" breakfasts are served in places that I stay. The tray was very comprehensive. There were 3 individual boxes of cereal and a porridge pot, fresh fruit, a cereal bar, then in the mini-fridge there was fruit juice, yoghurt, and a pint of milk. Plus of course tea and coffee and a packet of biscuits as standard on the courtesy tray.

I could not find any fault with the accommodation.

Great place to stay, super value for great quality !

Had decent choice for breakfast especially given the price overall. Had choice of cereals etc, tea/coffee biscuits etc. Some Muller options along with instant porridge. The room was excellently presented, parking right outside and connected to the pub so evening meal was easy. Staff were super helpful

Given the price, this wasn't a cheap and cheerful stay. Nice looking set of rooms at the back of the pub, newly built I'd guess and lovely and clean and comfortable.
