Excellent front of house staff.
Room was.large and comfy, and extra bed had been put in free of charge for child.
Bar stuff were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a nice meal there. Pool was lovely. Great location for diggerland
The changing area in spa could do with an upgrade....mouldy ceiling in showers

Good location as I had a little day procedure at the Alexander Hospital. Nice room comfy bed.
Bar prices little expensive.
Restaurant was extremely slow we had to wait half an hour for starters and another half for mains!
Also there were two very inebriated men ( they said they were local and use the bar a lot) in the bar who made a bee line for us and made us feel highly anxious. I do feel they should have refused serving! It was an uncomfortable experience.

The staff at the reception were rude and unhelpful
The mini bar was stocked for one person and was not replenished the following day
The gardener started mooring the lawn at 8am making a lot of noise
The motor way is very close but the windows are not double glazed so there was constant noise
The TV had no satellite input
There was no jacuzzi and the sauna broke

Good value for the room including a swim in the pool and breakfast
I thought the room service food was a bit lacklustre and overpriced for what it was

Had a great stay. Was surprised with chocolates and a swan towel in our room as it was our wedding night. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The spa could be improved and offer more facilities. The shower room was dirty.

Liked where it was situated.
How dirty the property was and how out dated it is. Rooms are a very poor standard. Bathroom had been refurbished but done terribly things lose. The cleanliness was so poor it’s unbelievable how this property has a 4* rating! There was blood on the toilet seat when we arrived and on the door frames. Build up in the shower, dirty floors, badly stained chairs. No mini fridge in a deluxe double. We had payed for breakfast but didn’t even bother to have any as the stay was so poor! Police were at the property at 1am due to multiple Christmas party’s and excessive drinking. Definitely way over priced should be about £40 per night for the standard it’s at!

convenient, friendly and helpful staff
The leisure centre was too crowded with groups of ladies out for the day and no where to sit. The whole hotel feels a bit tired and in need of updating. Bed was not very comfortable, almost fell off the edge. pillows were much too firm. Overall disappointing quality if we had been going for a spa weekend.

The suite was tired looking, rusty shower rail and condensation in the window. The room overlooked the courtyard which was noisy from Friday evening through to Sunday morning. 2 ciach tours and two weddings were booked, which created issues with booking a table for an evening meal. We were informed the day before we arrived that there was a wedding reception booked for friday night but we were not told about the second reception. we were unable to relax as the bar was overtaken by the wedding uests and their children. The courtyard was used as a playground. we spent most of our time in our room due to the excessive noise and people. There was not enough staff on duty to meet the demand, thoroughly disappointed as this was a special birthday treat that was ruined by a lack of thought for the guests staying over the weekend.

we was put in room 20 which was really noisy and had to be moved to room 121 which was a lot quieter

Very comfortable and convenient location.
The doors closers require some adjustments for a softer close.

The staff overall are very friendly and helpful and kind.
Bed was comfortable.
Room was clean.
Interconnecting doors in most of the bedrooms. Just why?
Birds packet custard served with my desert.
Rock hard and inedible "cobbler' in the beef cobbler.
Draughty and drab restaurant.
Mince pies still being served with coffee and tea...Xmas is over!!
Plug sockets in the room are in the most ridiculous of places....had to move tea tray onto the floor to boil the kettle and use my straighteners by the door. Nothing near to the bed for mobile phone charging.

Location superb.
Bed was lovely and comfortable.
Reception staff great.
Buying a glass of wine that was served in a glass that had Lipstick on it. When I took it back to the bar, it was third time lucky to get a clean glass. When I returned to join my husband I told him what had happened, a little later the receptionist came over, she said she had overhead what I was saying and couldn't apologise enough and would have done exactly the same herself. She then gave us two vouchers for us to have a free drink each.
She was very observant of her surroundings as I was not making a big noise about this but we were sitting near the reception. We thanked her for the gesture.

The food was amazing, as was the bed, staff pleasant.
The bass from a party literally shook our room till midnight, so got very little time to relax or even sleep, which frankly isn't acceptable at all. I did complain, but nothing changed!! Also, the tea, coffee and biscuits were meagre, in addition, water in the room would be a reasonable expectation too!
