Perfect location and surprisingly quiet!
Fire alarm went off in the night!

Location was fantastic right on the front
Very friendly welcome
Really spacious room
Great view over the Atlantic
Nice breakfast
I didnt like the lock on my door, particularly as the door is from a public area rather than an internal corridor....I didnt remember to lock from the inside and spent the night with the door unlocked and no security.
There was a fire door between the bedroom and the hall and bathroom which was on a strong closer. A free-swing closer would be better linked to the fire alarm.
breakfast was too early, I would have liked to sleep longer.

All good, no problem

Great location, relaxed vibe but still professional. Comfy bed. Building is old so be prepared for wonky floorboards but they just add character. Great shower!
No parking but not a dealbreaker as there is a lay-by you can drop off luggage and a secure car park 5 mins walk away

Great location. Cute, old building. Warm and clean room. Shower pressure was good. Interesting concept to have rooms above a pub like in the old days.
Breakfast could have been better. Cappuccino was not available because the machine was not working. The pancakes came completely drenched in maple syrup. Perhaps consider putting the maple syrup separately?

Fabulous location on the waterfront and beautiful views across the ever changing beach. Above a good pub but not noisy at all.
This apartment is definitely not for anyone who has any mobility issues. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep and lead to the apartment itself as well as the bedrooms and another flight to the bathroom. The bathroom has very low ceilings and no shower screen or curtain so everything gets wet but they would not supply dry towels. There is no parking near the hotel except for a drop off area which may not be free, so you have to park a fair distance away.

Breakfast good, location excellent, staff great
Sunday lunch. No selections only burritos! What’s all that about?

the location
breakfast was terrible, out of date yogurts, sink in bedroom was blocked - repeatedly asked for it to be sorted, it wasn’t. secondary glazing in bedroom broken so kept awake by blaring music until 1am.

breakfast was very nice, just one piece of bacon which is unusual but it was well cooked as was the sausages etc, my partners salmon and scrambled eggs looked great and I was told they tasted great as well. the location for breakfast was very nice looking out onto the harbour.
No parking within a reasonable distance, had to leave the car at a nearby public car park which the only one we could find that had available spaces was on top of a very steep hill.

Love the location being in the middle of it all
Just the stairs in the apartment really, I don't think it's advertised enough that it's no good for children and the elderly. Having shower we found difficult not to get the whole of the floor wet.

Breakfast was excellent both in quality and quantity. The room was spotless; we stayed for 2 nights and asked for it not to be cleaned. The room was very modern, the view excellent.
Nothing. Breakfast staff were very attentive.

warm room , comfortable bed
close to centre of St Ives
bathroom was a bit cold

The location was amazing, right next door to some really good restaurants. The sea view room was definitely the right choice as the sunrises in the morning were spectacular. The rooms were extremely warm and comfortable, perfect for a winter getaway. The free continental breakfast had some great options and we felt that we didn’t even need to order the hot breakfast which cost a little extra.
There was a quiz night in the main bar which you could hear quite clearly through the floorboards which might bother some some grumpy guests, but it all adds to the vibrancy of St.Ives
The parking situation is the only main downside but the fact that you are literally in the best location in town completely out weighs this.

A very welcoming friendly and homely hotel, fantastic location with beautiful views.
It was ideal for what I wanted, so I couldn't say something I didn't like.
