Amazing view, perfectly situated near centre and harbour. Modern, comfortable room. very clean. elemis toiletries, very good breakfast with fabulous view overlooking the ocean. Helpful staff
Shower room compact so sink in actual room, but only a minor inconvenience, I got used to it quite quickly.

Great central location, lovely to be able to walk into town whenever we liked. We really enjoyed having a balcony view over the beach and sea. Great breakfast each morning. Will definitely return.
Had table service for breakfast and dinner but didn't realise we had to order at the bar for lunch. Given that we had 4 guests for lunch this was a bit of letdown as we waited ages for someone to come to the table and were only told different when we finally went in search of some service.
The curtain rails in our room were not quite wide enough to pull the curtains closed sufficiently to keep out all the bright light in the morning.

Great breakfast and very welcome staff.
Just the undetachable hangers from the wardrobe.

I would say we had the best room in the hotel for views. No. 27. Nothing beats falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks below our window. Only thing I could say could be better is the door on the bathroom for abit more privacy to the room. Other than that. Best place I have ever stayed in the UK and I would come back any time of year. Absolutely stunning. And the food was great also.

Wow, what a room. We had one of the balcony rooms. What a view, coupled with the sound of the sea - amazing. It was comfy and well set out, albeit a little small. The bathroom cosmetics were Elemis, who doesn't think that's fancy.
Breakfast was good, again looking out over the bay. Lots of choice on the cooked menu as well as the continental. The hotel had a pool, which unfortunately we didn't use. Really close to the town.
The towel rail was very close to the toilet in a cramped bathroom. The towel rail was hotter than the sun, and my knees touched this a couple of times - ouch. Maybe a different design of towel rail is needed.

Fabulous location with lovely sea views. Excellent staff.
Bedroom quite small and hotel a bit tired.

I was upgraded to a room with a balcony! Definitely great view. The room is clean and quiet which is really nice. And I really looked forward to going for breakfast every day! Friendly staff and nice breakfast!
Everything is perfect apart from the shower water. The shower water is cold. It's not that there's no hot water, as the water from the sink tap was hot. Maybe the shower control was installed wrong. The shower controller looks like it can be turned left or right to adjust the water temperature, but in fact, it can only be adjusted in one direction. So I guess that's maybe the reason that the shower water is powerful but not much hot water.

The staff were so attentive and kind. The food was amazing. The location is by far one of the bast I've stayed in. A really exceptional stay with everything on my wish list catered for.
No negatives in sight.
I didn't like having to go home, I wanted to stay forever!

Lovely sea view room and nicely decorated, nice coffee machine, bathroom was clean and bright very good shower hot and powerful.
Service at dinner waitress was very friendly and felt like she was only member of staff, had to wait over 45mins for main meal.
Breakfast. Again not many staff only 1 member taking hot food orders buffet wasn't topped up felt a bit disorganised and again long wait for food.

Amazing location... Just wonderful to sit on our balcony overlooking the sea. Cosy room and very comfy bed. Receptionist was kind and friendly. I swam twice - it was great to jump into a warm shower only 5 mins after exiting the New Year waves.
We hadn't reserved a table for dinner in advance of our stay - our fault, but a shame they couldn't fit us in. No orange juice at breakfast.
