Très sympa

Très bien placé dans puerto morelos, bel hôtel avec jolie piscine, frigo, grand lit, personnel très agréable, grande penderie, petit déjeuner au top !

Quelques travaux à prévoir dans la salle de bain, le 2eme lit était extrêmement inconfortable.

Beautiful location, nice lively restaurant on your doorstep.

Interesting room, perfect location, very helpful staff

Breakfast was poor. Most choices were depleted or missing each morning by 10am. Had to ask for the required top ups. Some attention required to improve this area.

Awesome staff with excellent customer service and rapport

My bed was firm which is good but I need a pillow topper for low back and hip pressure points as I’m 65

The noisy bar next door with one awful karaoke woman but this was resolved by the hotel el Moro manager

Lugar tranquilo bonito y barato

En general por el precio es lo que se espera, la piscina, habitaciones con aire acondicionado, internet, desayuno….todo básico. Recomendable para familias que les gusta gastar menos y quieren gastar en recorrer y comer.

Podrían variar los desayunos, y la habitación aveces se llenaba de insectos, lo que hacía incómoda al llegar a ella.

Muy buena ubicación, a dos calles de la playa. Los restaurantes/bares a un lado del hotel son un plus, para un rato romantico, o para relajarse con una bebida y la musica en vivo.

These are minor things but overall it was very good - was a rustic stay not modern luxury :)

Good selection of breakfast food - need to get there early otherwise some of the dishes empty but staff were accommodating and did refill when asked to

Could have been more of a selection of hot food. Wide selection of herbal teas but no english tea and said they could not get any. When the cereal boxes ran out they said they could not get any more

Recommendation for a short stay:)

Super friendly staff and a tasty breakfast buffet. The room was very comfortable :)

The sockets in our room were old and a little loose which makes it hard to charge an electronic device properly. In the neighbourhood is a bar/pub which played loud music - the room was a little noisy.

Exceptional staff, exceptional location, wonderful stay

First of all, exceptional staff. Very responsive with messages, but also kind and were very proactive in terms of helping track down our delayed luggage. Overall, fantastic value for the cost. Close to restaurants, supermarkets, taxis, the beach, ATMs, activity providers. Large room and lovely little pool for cooling off. Very much enjoyed the breakfasts that had enough diversity from day to day. Excellent coffee. Wonderful touch that filtered water was supplied. It was perfect for our stay.

Sometimes an off smell in the bathroom (keep the shower floor cover on). Lots of mosquitos. A bit rundown so perhaps needs some renovation.

Hotel was perfect location. A short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops all around. The pool was refreshing and a nice spot to relax when I needed a break from the beach. The room was comfortable and cute. Employees were so helpful arranging cabs for my Cenote excursion and to return to airport.

Nice stay!

Both ladies at the reception were very friendly and polite, made me feel welcomed throughout the check in and check out. They upgraded my room at no cost; the room was big and had a big closet room. It had a TV (didn't use it) and a desk. Breakfast was good for one night only (had both sweet and salty food). They also offer big water in big bottles outside your room if needed, and tea and coffee at the reception. The property is very close to the beach, different supermarkets and restaurants. Good stay overall.

Cleanliness of the room can be improved. Unfortunately in my room there were a lot of mosquitos, not sure where they came from as the room is provided with nets on windows.

This hotel is really one of a kind. It's a super cute little sanctuary in the middle of this little town. We loved the feel of it and the breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was ok for the price. The location is good, walking distance from supermarket, restaurants and the beach.

The hotel ia located next to several restaurants, so be prepared for very loud music until about 2am, no matter what day of the week it is. Bring ear plugs with you, if you expect to sleep. The water in shower took a while to get warm, but at the end it worked.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint, comfortable, and centrally located hotel.

The location was great. It was nice to be in the heart of everything, especially at night when the road is closed and the restaurants take over the street. The breakfast had a good variety of options each day. We really liked our room on the 3rd floor which was nice and bright and modern. There was good water pressure in the shower on the 3rd floor which was not our experience on the 1st floor. We also discovered the covered rooftop patio and spent some time up there relaxing, reading, and even storm watching one evening. Also, the beach is nice and close, just a short walk away, as is the big grocery store.

Our room on the first floor had very low water pressure in the shower and it was hard to adjust the water temperature. The pool and area, while lovely, is very small. It could accommodate about 6 people at a time so it wasn’t a place to meet other guests. Also, as it was our first time visiting Puerto Morelos, we would have appreciated a little more help from the hotel staff in learning to use the local transit system. One last thing, which the hotel has no control over, is the loud music from nearby bars and restaurants in the evenings. It would usually be quiet by 11:00 or 12:00.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, cozy large rooms.

I booked two nights at Hotel el Moro as part of a last-minute switch and it surpassed my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located near the center of Puerto Morelos, but just far enough from the nightlife noises. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and, just below the large balcony of the second-story rooms, there is a sizable pool. There's also a wonderful, large palapa on the roof, perfect for catching a sunset before dinner! The staff and owners of the hotel are incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. Don't miss the delicious, generous breakfast served beneath the cool, shady trees each morning. Recommended!

Central location.Clean room.Nice pool area.

We booked a room with a double bed and a single bed and balcony.They did not have one so moved us into a ground floor room with two double beds.This room was rather dark and no outlook other than onto restaurant so had to keep curtains closed.There was a lot of loud music from adjacent bar/restaurant in the evening

Breakfast was okay - not stellar but adequate. Front desk very helpful but language was difficult at times. Quaint and close street restaurants - very near beach

Hotel was very old and could have used some updating. Doors to unit were glass paned and difficult to lock. No hangers and no place to hang clothes. We were only 1 night so wasn't really a problem. Pool was iffy.

Old but quaint, very clean and wonderful staff. Breakfast was decent, with an excellent selection of fresh fruit. Nice location.
