Beautiful hotel, stunning rooms.
The menu was a little limited. The bar menu made selecting a little easier.

Beautiful country pub in idyllic location with stunning bedrooms

Location was great with ample parking space and even (free) EV chargers which was a bonus. The refurbished rooms were super comfortable, far better than some of the more established big hotel chains at similar price point (or higher). Quality of food served at breakfast was excellent.
Just one thing - I was doubly charged on my credit card upon check-out which I noticed a few days later. They did reverse it back but only after multiple follow-ups and sharing the receipt. Tip: keep the receipt with you!

The property is nicely decorated. The bedroom had a lovely large bed, views over the countryside and air conditioning.
The food and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic.

I would have liked soap when having a bath. I couldn’t get to the dispensers without standing up.

Superb quality bedroom furnishings, large comfortable bed, wonderful field views from the 1st floor in Walnut House, quiet location, service excellent as was the food. Various seating areas which all looked inviting including the grassed area outside.

The facilities and rooms were lovely. Restaurant and bar great and food was great.
Pillows were too soft for me and flattened right down.

The breakfast was amazing with a great choice. We loved the open fires in the restaurant and the service was impeccable. The attention to detail in the rooms and the decor was top class.
There wasn't anything we didn't ;like about our stay and would hope to come again.

Very cosy pub, room was lovely and very clean, staff very helpful.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. No offer of toast, pastries or fruit as you would expect from the price of the stay. Whilst I understand that cleaning needs to be done, the cleaner was still vacuuming when we arrived for breakfast at 9am and continued for at least the next 30 minutes so a not very relaxing breakfast. (She actually vacuumed under my chair when I was sitting at the table).

Very nice room nice location
There was some confusion whether our stay had been paid through booking .com it later transpired it had so two things about why didn’t they pick that up but having highlighted and evidence it had taken them days to resolve and still waiting! not good
Also made to wait for breakfast a large party was late for breakfast and we were made to wait for ours which didn’t impress me
It’s alright having a nice venue but if you don’t deliver on service then it does count not for much
