Good stay, enjoyed overall

Location was very good, 2 mins walk to Kingsgrove station. Woolworths was a short walk. Couple of coffee shops nearby. Also good restaurants within walking distance. Pub below the hotel was very nice.

1. Found few of the staff rude - making faces, pretending not to hear. Overall dissatisfied with the staff. 2. There was a fan at top of shower, which had the same switch as the light in the washroom. So the fan will go on if you switch on the light. It was a problem for number of reasons - (i) it wasn't clean, there were heaps of dust stuck on to it and (ii) taking a shower during a cold morning was a nightmare as the fan made it very cold.

Would definitely stay again. Exceeded our expectations

Everything was very clean and all facilities were available including free parking. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Rooms were a little small but had everything we needed so no complaints! We could hear noise from the hallways and people talking but not enough to be bothered by

Close proximity to where we had to go. The restaurant downstairs was handy and the food was really nice

Handy for what I needed but could have been better.

The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Off street parking. Good pub food and bar downstairs.

No wi fi for most of my stay. A roach problem and skipped cleaning did not help, and the clean towels were not always clean

great location, surprisingly quiet

The hotel is right near the train station, and has it's own carpark. The rooms entrance is separate to the pub. Despite there being pokies and late opening hours, there was no noise or disturbance.

the wifi password on the keycard was wrong!

Overall it is a happy experience to stay. T

The room is quite big and quiet. The staff is really friendly who allows us to keep our baggage after we checkout. The location just opposite Kingsgrove station.

The basin size is too small, can even fit the kettle to fill the water. The wifi is pretty bad during the days we stayed. The hotel doesn't provide toothpaste and toothbrush.

Super spot

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel facilities catered for our lunch and evening meals.

Stairs were difficult to navigate with heavy suitcases. Window was sealed shut which made us feel a little claustrophobic.

.location, location, location, right across the road from the bus and train and all the shops you could ever need, yet quiet

Lack of room ventilation, no outside air at all, room stunk, so propped the door open and turned on the ceiling fan full

Comfortable, value for money, good location for inner south west Sydney

A Sydney stay for a family catchup. Kingsgrove Hotel provided a good, conveniently located accommodation for my requirements. It is a basic, clean hotel,. I have stayed there previously and chose again to stay.

Friendly staff, good price but a bit out of the way.

The staff was very friendly and eager. For Sydney, the price-performance ratio was impressive. If you are looking for a place for 1-2 nights it is definitely recommended if you are not tight on time.

It would have been nice to be able to open the windows in the room. The hotel is also located on the outskirts of Sydney, so it takes a little longer to get to the centre by public transport.

Disappointing

Unfortunately the room smelt like raw sewerage. However was in a hurry and didn't get a chance to speak with staff. Other wise very helpful

Recommended Accommodation for a solo or couple

Great service! Across the road from train station which can take you anywhere. Good food bit pricey for a pub but ok. Supermarket n general stores across the road. Will recommend this place to stay again.
