Decent place to stay and dine, but somewhat of a letdown due to some idiosyncrasies in the hotel.

1) Room was very clean and well-kept. Hotel's cleaning service was top notch and we found a well-prepped room every time we came back in the afternoon after doing city tours. This is why we use hotels and not AirBNB. 2) Extra towel + room requests were prompt. 3) Ranch restaurant was accessible and had good, albeit a bit pricey food. Was useful for some gatherings we planned on our trip. Appears to be a local favourite and is just the thing for impromptu meet ups.

Some items can be improved: 1) Front desk is unmanned most of the time. You cannot do an early check-in if you have an early flight simply because no one is there and the doors to the hotel will not open. We had to wait at the adjacent resto and wait for the 2pm time for the desk to be manned. Very strange for a hotel, in fact the only hotel where front desk is virtually inaccessible before the check-in time . 2) Bed mattresses in our room were slightly bigger than the bedframes, which led to some shifting of the beds. 3) Breakfast was a bit confusing as the property did not specify upfront that the buffet breakfast was only available during weekends. Weekdays, you get a pack that contains juice + milk + cereal + power bar. They technically provide breakfast, but they should have mentioned it upfront in the room amenities. This is a real letdown and will likely give us pause when we consider a return to the hotel. 4) Shower was very noisy, not sure if it was just our room. 5) No phones in the rooms. You have to call the front desk using your mobile.

Basic rooms but clean and comfy. Breakfast good ,free parking great value for money. Good meals at the bistro and the bar staff in the sports bar where fantastic.

friendly staff, nice big rooms with balcony, good location

beds were terrible to sleep on. mattress need replacement in most of the rooms were our family stayed. they either bowed in or out. unfortunate as everything else was great

Very good

Close to where we needed to be. Was a great room for families and included breakfast. Also offered free drinks and discounted meals at the bistro

The location was great for the wedding at Cuzon Hall. The Ranch hotel were lovely organising the Curtesy Bus to take 9 of us to and from the wedding. WE had to leave early so did not have the breakfast

There was only one black tea bag in the room meaning we had to share it for a quick cuppa before we drove home.

Disappointing and misleading, as they charged for something you did not offer

just the location

They never cleaned our room during our stay. Never seen this before. I had to request dry towels twice as they didn’t change them either, even when they were on the floor. And the worst was the breakfast. we paid for an option with breakfast and it was a joke. They served bacon and eggs only one day, the rest was just toast, jam, canned fruits, boxed cereal and the worst you can eat, hot water and soluble coffee. you can have a better breakfast on a plane for sure. Very disappointing experience, considering the Travel Lodge was another option nearby for the same money but not breakfast. We stayed there before and was way better.

overall a good stay.

The reception staffs were nice. we were offered complimentary drinks but too bad we couldn’t use it.

The windows and under bed were all dirty. not so clean and safe for a toddler. Also no microwave or no warm breakfast for toddler.

Great value motel in a handy location.

A complimentary continental breakfast was included in the price. The bathroom had clearly been upgraded and was modern and clean. It was great to have a sofa and a comfy bed. Meal in their restaurant was good too.
