About this house rental

Charlie’s place is a 2 bedroom, one bath guest suite, with a spacious living room, AND kitchen. Rental includes access to an awesome lounge patio and Grill with a private pool that our guests can share with the residents of the home. It’s Located in a great safe neighborhood within walking distance of the lake, and it’s only be a short drive away from downtown Nashville, BNA, major shopping malls, and much more. Being right outside of music city you’ll be close enough to join in all the fun, but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville to be able to get some real R&R.

Everything was amazing, clean, well stocked, friendly hosts. Probably the most relaxing week weve had in years. Wed definitely rent this property again and again. For us...no need to look anlt any others.

Charlie’s home is wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. We totally appreciated all the extra items. Her kitchen is well stocked with basic items. The beds were comfy, the location was far enough from the city that we felt we got away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. The drive to her home was very nice, yet not so far out that going to Nashville seemed far. Very safe area which is quiet and peaceful. Nice area to walk. Charlie lives in the top half of the home and you’d never know she was there. Sadly, it was still too cold for the pool. Thank you Charlie for being so accommodating. We’ll definitely stay with you again, if you will have us.

Let me first say that when we arrived everything was great, I loved the spot as well as the location of this rental. Cut to day two, my SIL and her husband had a rough night on the mattress in the main room as it was hard and squeaky. I noticed that the host had mentioned to some reviewers that they should have just messaged her about any issues and they would’ve been handled. So I messaged her, asking if she by chance had a mattress topper. The only response I received back was ‘no’. I said I gotcha. We can pile some blankets up, should be ok. Well apparently she took that as there was a problem. As we headed out to go to dinner, she came running down her deck stairs to confront us. She got very defensive asking what the problem was, which I told her that I think she took what I said the wrong way and that there wasn’t a problem. She continued to defend her mattress saying there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s new and great, that we could just go spend $500 on a hotel room if it’s a problem. We had to tell her multiple times that there wasn’t a problem. We were so in shock by this interaction that we contemplated leaving and going elsewhere, but decided to just deal since we were only there 2 more days. she has full control of the A/C and would have it down chilly all day and would turn it up at night. We just dealt with it and left 2 days later. The toilet was also loose but I didn’t want to message her again. She’d have recd 5 stars.. her attitude blew that!

Very clean and comfortable. We not only enjoyed downtown Nashville, but also exploring Old Hickory Lake and nearby marina. The pool right outside your door is a bonus too. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at Charlies to enjoy the pool and catch up with friends. It was a cute place and the pool was perfect. Charlie is very nice and easy to work with. I would stay there again!

We had a very nice stay. Communication with the homeowner was great and the property was just as described. It was far out in the country, but easy enough to get right into Nashville. The pool was a very nice addition during the 90° weather. I would highly recommend the place and I wouldn’t hesitate staying again if I were in Nashville.

The property was beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet. It was convenient to the expressway. The hostess was friendly and responded quickly to questions. We really enjoyed the pool and the covered area with the swing. The furnishings were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Flew into Nashville for a 25 minute drive to this home. It kept us close to the hustle and bustle, but also close to family we were visiting in Lebanon, another 25 minutes east. The pool was very clean and inviting.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed from showering to everything in the kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. The outside space is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall OK .. Beds were very comfortable but couch not so much. The stay is in lower lever of house w/ owners in upstairs. Regular TV & foot noise from upstairs. Neighborhood & house location was very nice.

This place was a great find. The property is wonderful and the host was absolutely amazing. She does ask when you arrive you let her know as she want to make sure you made it safely. I am thinking about making a non business trip and will definitely stay again.

The place was sufficient for a place to sleep and relax after our long days. The host was great and left us be. The main room's bed was super comfy except for the pillows. The only suggestions I would have to improve the experience is to install brighter lights. The main bedroom room light was so dark it was hard to find things in my suitcase and the foyer light didn't work. The living RM light was a dimmer but even on high it was a bit dark. Also, include more forks, spoons and put a cheese or chef's knife in the kitchen. We were trying to prepare food for our long days out and had nothing but butter knives to chop food. All minor inconveniences except for the lighting in the main bedroom. Overall it did the job and it was in a really nice area.

We came from out of state and wanted to get close to Nashville, but not downtown, for a decent price. We found that at Charlie's place and enjoyed the stay. We came during what seemed like the coldest time of the year (at that time) in November, so we really couldn't use any of the outdoor amenities, but found the neighborhood to be calm and easily accessible to Mt. Juliet/Donelson area. We would recommend staying at Charlie's place!

Charley, thank you for a great stay. We enjoyed your lovely place and the convenience of being so close to everything. We were here for a week and we could not have chosen a better location. Mt. Juliet is close enough to Nashville to make it a perfect choice for anyone wanting the Nashville scene and being so close to the other surrounding towns was great for us.

Everything about this property is amazing! Quiet neighborhood close to stores. Comfortable beds, large bathroom. Full kitchen. AMAZING PORCH!! LOVED IT! Zula the boxer might come visit if you're lucky. Too chilly for the pool but it looked beautiful! Charlie is a charming host. Very responsive. Didn't even know anyone was home. Getting into Nashville was easy. We took Uber from a local Kroger parking lot (per Charlie's suggestion) on Saturday. $25 each way. Totally worth it. Monday we drove in. Much better. $25 to park.

We found what we were looking for here in a quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough to enjoy. The property served us well in our visit with my autistic adult daughter. There were a few minor issues with the property but we managed to work they them. Glad we chose Charlie’s place! Thank you!

A friend of mine and I were looking for a place to stay close enough to Nashville to enjoy downtown, but far enough away to avoid constant traffic, etc. Charlie's Place was perfect for this! Check in and out was easy, and Charlie was a wonderful hostess!

We had a great time at Charlie’s place. Close to downtown Nashville but far enough away for peaceful relaxation. Very clean property. Pool was fantastic. Charlie was attentive to issues (leaking condenser on the air conditioner and broken refrigerator) & did her best to resolve them. Thanks for a relaxing vacation.

Super nice get away. Everything was ready and working and so didn’t need to contact the host much aside from notifying them that we had arrived and when we checked out. Super easy check out list of things to do before leaving. Host was friendly and so was her boxer who visited me briefly as I sat by the pool. Would recommend and would stay again.
