Really enjoyed our stay - had everything we needed and beautiful views of lake and mountains from the property. One minor quibble: prefer not to have properties which only provide non stick cookware as it gets scratched over time. Overall we highly recommend this place.

Place is very clean, has the most beautiful view. Makes up for the driveway you have to climb to get to it.

We had a wonderful time in Queenstown at the Alpine Challet. It was a great space for a family of 5! We walked to town one evening as well which was very easy. One comment to make is that the dishwasher was missing a surface acting agent, which prevents the dishes from being greasy when you take them out of the dishwasher. Otherwise everything was perfect !

We LOVED our stay at 39A Lomond Cres. The views from the living room and main bedroom were extraordinary. The whole place was comfortable and modern. Everything functioned perfectly. Great communication with Mike. I highly recommend this great place and will book again next time we are in Queenstown! Thanks!!

Fantastic property, just beware of the front stairs.

Had a lovely stay, it was even nicer than in the photos! Would recommend

Good location, great views. Plan for a steep hill to park & walk to & from town but manageable. Only issue, had trouble with working heat downstairs - messaged owner very responsive. We never did get it to work but we managed. Would recommend and stay here again.

Nice and warm and perfect view

Perfect for 2, all amenities ok, shower a little difficult to adjust. Enjoyed the walk uphill to get those stunning views from 2 decks. Would stay there again

Apartment great, location brilliant, view to die for!! It’s up a steep hill so it helps to be fit, but it’s ideal for the walking tracks and fit walking into the town. We didn’t want to leave and we were there for two weeks…

What we LOVED: Queenstown is fantastic!; The views from the chalet are to die for; The porch off the front was wonderful to sit and have breakfast/lunch/glass of wine/dinner; The washer and dryer were great; The living/dining room was a good size and comfortable; It was close to town and an easy walk down (rough coming back up;)
What was OK: The place is dated (alright, we knew that coming in from other reviews but had to emphasize it) with old scratched kitchen counter, old soft sofa, tired rugs; The towels are limited and very thin; The sheets were too small for the bed; The kitchen was ok with limited dishes and utensils; The driveway (again we knew from other reviews and dealt with it) was STEEP – but after you have been in NZ for a while you get used to these steep hills; The bedrooms and bathroom was on the second level – not an issue for us, but I don’t believe it was noted in the description.
What we HATED: The shower! – it was like standing in a bowl as the bottom was not flat. They provided a rubber mat that helped. It was also hard to get in/out since it was so high (this is common in Europe but still nasty); The hot water – there is a sign that says to limit the use for hot water or you will run out and it takes hours for the tank to refill (suggestion to owner – get a new low flow shower head with a handle OR get a tankless water heater); The beds are really old, saggy and lumpy – bad for my back

This is a great place to stay with beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu. It’s close to town and the skyline biking tracks. The house has everything you need and was a good size for a family. We had a great time and look forward to staying again.

I find this property is great, cleaned and tidy. Information is sufficient for all facilities at the apartment. There is nothing to complain except driving up to the car park and parking is challenging. Great view, great balcony and comfortable living room. Children and I love it very much.

Great views of lake and Remarkables. Steep narrow driveway off road if that concerns you. Otherwise, great location within walking distance to town and everything you need.

My family really enjoyed our stay. It was great to wake up to that view! The house had everything that we needed. Location is close enough to walk to town.

What a view
Stunning view would overshadow any deficiency, but there really weren’t any of substance. Overall a very nice place - clean and roomy - although there were too many “rules” posters around the unit, which constantly reminded us that we shouldn’t consider ourselves to be at home. Also there was only 1 key.

Great stay in Queenstown
We had a great experience at this property. It has a great view and is within a 20 minute walk of everywhere we wanted to be. Self check-in and check-out was super easy and the property owner was quick and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a base in the Queenstown area.

Take note! The chalet has two levels. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs so if you are older or have mobility issues which one of our party did have, this place is not for you. The bathroom has a shower in the bath and the climb into the bath is rather a high one. The bath itself has no anti slip mat in which could be a problem for you if you have mobility issues but also made showering a little scary as the bath is a little slippery. The chalet is very close to town and the gondolas, which was lovely. The views from the property are exactly as advertised - amazing! The chalet itself is a little tired and needs a little freshening up. The lounge is well furnished and modern. The two bedrooms have one with a king bed which has lovely views over the lake and mountains. The other room has a double bed in it and looks out to the back yard with a small side window that has a slight view of the lake. The drive way is incredibly steep to go up and so do as the owner says check it out before you ascend it. Over all we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay in Queenstown as we enjoyed the activities the town offered us.

Dec 19. Amazing views
A clean, comfortable property that has amazing views over the lake and to mountains.
Nice shower in bath and rooms nicely decorated and furniture.
Communication excellent.
Downstairs heating is a little limited if come on a cold day.
Up a very steep hill and this was not made clear. Not suitable for disabled, which one of our party was. And, I recommend this was made clear. However, that was partly our fault for not investigating enough. As I said the communication was excellent and if I asked I would have got a reply.
Overall a very nice stay, close to town but just enough away to feel a sense of being away from the hustle and bustle, which we liked.

Couple of nights stay after Milford hike
The place was great. Amazing views, all the facilities we needed, clean, warm. It would be a walk to town but 15 mins or so.
