Property manager - if you want to adrive early you get charged $. If your check-in is delayed because they’re running behind, no $ refund. Check-in delayed 75 min and we got an “I’m sorry we are busy because of Spring Break.” Nobody answered property mgmt phone. Really poor experience there. Will avoid any properties managed by this company in future. House clean. Beds comfortable. Several blocks from beach. Absolutely no view.

This is a nice home, with a great floor plan for families; and in an ideal location for a stay in Manzanita. There were not the kitchen supplies that we are used to having available; a plug in and bathroom ceiling fan didn't work - but our primary concerns are with Meredith Lodging - they leave tiny soaps, shampoos, dish soaps, and no liquid hand soaps. For the very high fees they charge for "management" of the property - it seems odd that they wouldn't provide adequately for guests. When we had to change our reservation, they attempted to leave the full amount of their fees/charges for a six night stay instead of pro-rating the fees to our actual two night stay. Fortunately VRBO made that right. It is odd that they charge fees that imply a "5 star" experience, but choose not to invest in adequate supplies - or at least inform guests to bring their own dish soap, hand soap, etc.

We had a great stay in the cottage in Manzanita. It’s only a couple of blocks from central Manzanita and close to the beach. We were able to walk everywhere while we were there. There were plenty of places to lounge inside, and it was nice to have two bathrooms for the three of us. The dining table is also large for eating and playing games. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Would recommend a visibility strip on step in front of front door because it blends in all the same color and all of us tripped going in and out. Many plug ins didn’t work or stopped working so would recommend checking electrical for safety and replace outlets. Otherwise very nice

This property is in a great location with just a short walk to the Manzanita shops, restaurants and beach. House was very clean and as described. Its in a quiet neighbourhood so we enjoyed sitting out on the front deck in the sun.

Lots of outdoor entertaining space. Beds were super comfortable. House is a bit dated and some outlets weren't working, but all in all we had a great time. Walking distance to everything on Laneda including the beach.

Pros: Great location for accessing the beach and local shops, easy check in, and has all the basics you need. Cons: primary room bedding was worn and had numerous holes (and bed was very firm), dishwasher leaked on the floor, using the stove made the house smell like burning chemicals, main area carpet was gross and it isn't clear if they don't regularly vacuum between guests or if the vacuum just doesn't work well, sizeable chunks of animal fur around the dining room floor, and the couch was very uncomfortable and kind of gross. To top it off, the fire extinguisher was expired. House just needs a deep clean, some touch-ups/refreshing, and better routine care/maintenance (its managed by a large property management company) and it would be fantastic!

Close to the beach and blocks from main street (Laneda). Not so close you hear the waves crashing on the beach or people in the restaurants on main street. Great kitchen setup. We cooked in a lot and we found everything we needed. Heating was simple and no fuss (unlike some other older-house rentals we've stayed at over the years)

We had a relaxing stay. The house was roomy and homey. We needed help raising a blind for more light and management sent someone over to help. It still didn’t function, but hopefully they will replace it soon. We cooked 2 nights, walked to the beach, shopped, played games and celebrated my sister’s birthday. We even had a tea party outside on the back deck!

The home was clean and well stocked. The layout was good for our group and the location was excellent. The furniture and bedding was worn and a bit uncomfortable. Also, there isn’t really enough seating in the living room or dining room to accommodate their maximum (8/10 people). Overall we really enjoyed the location and had a good time

Charming home in the city center. Very clean and well maintained. Perfect kitchen. Added niceties. A couple short blocks to groceries, shopping, and one of Oregon’s best beaches. Will definitely come again, hopefully sooner than later. It’s a pet friendly house but no evidence that pets have been here. We were thrilled with this property.

The best things about this house are its layout with two nice patios ~ front and back and it is right off of the main drag. The kitchen is well stocked and the washer and dryer work great! It would be nice if the master bedroom had a King bed and the other bedroom with a Queen has a funky mattress topper that is too big for the hard mattress. The house is pet friendly and has a/c which are huge features for us. Overall, the location is perfect and the house has a nice layout.

This was our second time staying here, we love it! The only thing that would be better if the rugs were more stable, easy to trip on. Also, the carpet straight out from the hallway bathroom has a spot that is coming apart where carpet has been glued together. There are so many things in the kitchen for use, is very helpful! We really liked the house, location, etc. The house was available hours before we were notified even though I called in the morning. Checking in at 5:00 on a Friday is late when it was available hours before. Then having to checkout at 11 on Sunday made a very expensive short weekend!

Property was better than expected. Location was perfect. One block from shops, 3 blocks from great city park for the kids, 5 blocks from the beach. Cute, quiet, clean rambler in a peaceful safe walkable neighborhood. It’s an older/80’s style house/decor but we were all pleasantly surprised by its comfort and size. Easily fit 3 adults, 3 kids-bunk room worked better than most. Highly recommend for an affordable beach getaway!

Everything about the place was top notch. The only issue we had was that we found what we thought was the lockbox on the side of the house. It turned out to be the location for the cleaning service. We didn’t see location sort of hidden in the front porch area near the front door. Our fault. It took three tries to get through to the manager and when we did they were very helpful and we had no problem. Otherwise, beautiful spot walking distance to everything and we would stay there again. Had a wonderful time with family. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Manzanita.
