About this house rental

Our home is a well very equipped modern family home located in the trendy Kitsilano neighbourhood in the heart of Vancouver. The layout is convenient and private with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (including a spa en suite) on the upper level. The chef's kitchen (equipped with gas stove and range), dining room, family room, living room, laundry room with large washer and dryer, and a 1/2 bath down are located on the entrance level. The home is centrally located. 15 minute cab ride from the airport, 10 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes from the beach friendly hiking. Great dining and trendy shopping is only minutes away by foot. The home is equipped with wifi, two large flat screen televisions, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee makers, toaster, blender, beach towels, DVD players, comfortable patio furniture, BBQ, comfortable beds, and game console. The home has two entrances with two balconies and a pleasant outdoor space for morning breakfast, coffee barbeques and evening cocktails. The rental includes all linens, towels, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, serving bowls, a fully stocked pantry with a variety of spices, oils, vinegars and condiments. There is single car port in the back of the house and plenty of free street parking directly in front of the house and throughout the neighbourhood. Parking in the neighbourhood is free, easy and safe.

We had a lovely stay in this house. Very well located and central, within walking distance of all our points of interest. The location is really the highlight for us. Beautiful landscaped yard allowing us to enjoy the outdoors. Brian is very communicative and answered my questions quickly.

The house was lovely and the location cannot be better. The backyard patio was terrific and came very much in handy for entertaining friends and family.

Brian was the consummate host, and this property was exactly as advertised - a beautiful and comfortable, well-appointed family home. We could not have been happier. The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance, and otherwise close proximity by bike/car/transit to anywhere else in Vancouver. We will definitely be happy to return to this property again.

Beautiful house with a fully equipped kitchen - we made meals for 8 people. Location is excellent with grocery stores and wine store nearby. 5 minutes or less to transit stop. 20 minute walk to Granville Island and 15 minutes to Kits Beach. Brian(owner) was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Nice new BBQ in the backyard. We would highly recommend this house which is in a beautiful neighbourhood.

This home was a perfect home base for exploring Vancouver: close to UBC and Bard on the Beach, and an easy drive to downtown, Stanley Park, and North Vancouver. The owner was quick to respond to both our original booking request and to questions before arrival. We had no need to contact him while we were there as everything was as exactly as promised. For what we would have spent on a hotel, we got 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a living room, dining room, family room, and a fully-stocked kitchen. This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. We would be happy to stay here again.

The house was comfortable, convenient & welcoming. Location superb. Owner personable & generous. Vancouver is a neat city. Loved the architecture, modern & to my taste. Liked ability to get around easily by car & on foot. Excellent in location, privacy & spaciousness. It was great. Science museum very cleverly done.

And Brian promptly provided recommendations for our more specific questions as well. The neighborhood is quiet & the house is modern & well equipped with all the conveniences. Morning coffee & evening grilling on the patio...when we weren't out exploring Vancouver, which is fabulous! If we had small children (or wanted to haunt the beach every day or go to more far flung attractions) we'd have rented a car, but we enjoyed walking most everywhere (or at least one way😉) & took a few buses & taxis. Ridiculously perfect weather. Overall a wonderful house for our week's vacation with our now far-flung adult children ! Thanks Brian! And HomeAway makes it all easy...
