A good place to stay, feels like you are in your own home.

Easy access to places that we wanted to go. So comfy and cozy place. Fully furnished and everything you need is all in.

Loved it and have recommended it.

The location was perfect as it was close to the luge etc. The hospitality was very welcoming. It had everything!

The parking was very pokey for our two bigger vehicles, but we managed.

Had everything we needed, comfortable, homely, great covered in outdoor area

The only thing that could potentially be a negative was the heavy noise of the traffic, although we knew we had booked on a main road we didn't expect the traffic to be so busy all night

The host was lovely and very accommodating. The house had everything we needed and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The large covered patio was great for extra space and would be fantastic in summer.

The noise from the road was persistent and especially overwhelming overnight. Our children managed to sleep ok in the back room, but we found it incredibly disturbing in one of the front rooms where the noise from trucks was particularly incessant. I appreciate that this is hard to control and I did manage to sleep on the second night after buying earplugs.

The owner met us at the door and gave us a big hug and welcomed us in. She was so nice and just gave us a quick rundown of the property. She was really nice. The house was really spacious. We only stayed one night but it would be perfect for longer stays with plenty of room. The beds were really comfortable as well.

Weekend stay was too short in this Rotorua Gem.

The house is spacious, a little quirky in a wonderful way, presented really beautifully. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a great self contained stay including a pool (too cold as we were there early Autumn) spacious well fenced backyard, an outstanding enclosed deck where we spent most of our time. As other hosts have said there is traffic noise but we were not affected by this at all and slept like kings.

Beautiful spacious accommodation in Rotorua.

The property is very clean & luxurious and has a warm & welcoming feel to it. Was absolutely beautiful with plenty of room & perfect for our family of 8. Our children loved playing in the pool & having our little Maltese on holiday with us.

it was exceptionally beautiful , with excellent amenities and perfect positioned.

The traffic noise as its in a main rd, however if that doesn’t bother you its 10/10

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing!

what we liked best was the feeling of coziness and comfort. It was nice and cozy, warm with the lovely heating, the rooms were neat and tidy, and very cosy. My dad loved relaxing out on the sheltered deck and having his meals.

The host has put a huge effort into turning this otherwise humble home into a glamorous, art deco haven. Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay. The attention to detail (slippers, chocolates, bathrobes, kitchen spices, amazing undercover sunroom with outdoor dining setting, fire heater and huge bbq, electric blankets, herb garden...in fact there are too many unexpected lovely touches to list!!). I highly recommend this lovely property. Whilst we didn't get to meet our hosts in person, we did speak by phone and they couldn't have been more helpful. Check-in and checkout was a breeze. Thanks for an amazing stay!!

An unexpected delight in Rotorua

Zarrie's communication was excellent and she met us and made us feel very welcome. There was a whole 2 litre bottle of milk waiting for us which was amazing. Along with a plentiful supply of coffee pods, ground coffee and tea, so super considerate. The house is great and has been well thought out with wonderful touches throughout. There is a massive closed in patio which is ideal for families or groups. We travelled in winter, so come summer the pool will be operational, so this will be fantastic after a busy day out exploring. The location was convenient for the Skyline gondola, nearby activities and plenty of food options and a supermarket, Also a short drive into the city centre. We had a wonderful stay, Sarah :)

At night, the noise in the front bedrooms is loud due to being on a busy stretch of main road, but not unbearable. Put the deep sleepers at the front.
