We had a wonderful stay at this location. The hosts were very friendly and most helpful! The house had all, and more, we could have needed. It’s in a beautiful location. Convenient to West Yellowstone &Yellowstone park, and to other towns like Ennis. Beautiful fishing spots on the lake and nearby. Mother Nature did not
disappoint !

Beautiful, very western themed property. Bison head over the fireplace. River stone fireplaces, one on top floor and another on bottom floor. All the wood we needed for inside fires and the outside fire pit. The owners went above and beyond to supply us even with lawn games and metal marshmallow roasting sticks. The kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom was incredible. The furniture and beds were top of the line and comfortable. My only complaint was the sofa beds. The mattresses need replacing. Even our smallest child was uncomfortable. I've told the owner and feel confident he will address. Steve quickly answered all our questions and gave us lots of suggestions for activities, with short drives to all. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful house. The view from the deck over the lake was magnificent. All facilities were good for our family group.

The Adamsons are terrific hosts; the home was outstanding, comfortable, with the perfect Montana setting.

This house was an excellent find and we are so happy with our experience. Location was perfect from the West entrance and the town to pick up food/groceries. House was neatly kept, clean, well organized and had everything that we could ask for. We didn't have to buy anything other than just fresh groceries. Betty made sure there were plenty of non-perishable groceries (oil, sugar, salt, spices etc.) There were towels, folding chairs that we could use when we went to the lake or just sit outside.
House had a fantastic deck with view to the lake. We were three families that stayed here and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book this again whenever we go back!!

This property was excellent! The home is clean and well maintained with perfect furnishings that were comfortable for everyone. Kitchen was so fun to cook in and also was well stocked. The views and sunsets are also simply stunning! The hosts Betty and Steve are super friendly, very accommodating, and just downright decent people. I would book this house again and would definitely recommend it!

This house is all that it is advertised to be and more, and host Elizabeth (Betty) Adamson was most helpful, responding promptly either by e-mail or phone to all of our questions. Betty was especially helpful in keeping us up to date regarding the flooding that took place in the northern part of Yellowstone shortly before our July 9-16 2022 stay.
The house is stunning and truly fully furnished as depicted in the description and photos. The house was surrounded by mountain ridges and located overlooking Lake Hebgen with a beautifully manicured lawn reminiscent of a golfing green. The house is beautifully appointed with original art and artifacts. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with a commercial size stove.
We would highly recommend this property and host; it was perfect for a Yellowstone vacation with our extended family of 10 people.

Surpassed all expectations!!
The house looked wonderful in photos but actually was even nicer. We have rented many houses and apartment on vacations and this is in the top two overall. The house is so well equipped that I can't think of a thing we could have needed that wasn't there! From the kitchen spices , kids games and DVDs , to lawn toys, it was like being at your own home! Betty was very available and responsive .
We were able to host dinners for our family reunion of 21 people and sleep our family of 10 comfortably!
I could go on and on! The house was everything we had hoped for and more!

Hebgen Paradise Lodge Family Reunion
Our family has a tradition of yearly family reunions. We try to plan different experiences for our three children and their families that include seven grandchildren. Having missed last year due to the pandemic, this year’s reunion was looked forward to by everyone. The best summary of the experience came from our youngest eight-year-old grandchild who on the last day of our two weeks stay said “grandpa – this is the best vacation you have planned”. I wish I could take all the credit but much of the credit goes to the spectacular house, the unique and beautiful location, and the gracious hosts.
Hebgen Paradise Lodge is a large 5-bedroom log house that was designed to be comfortable for large groups. The whole house is appointed with western art and artifacts. When we arrived, we found the house to be very clean and well prepared for our visit.
The bedrooms were large, the dining table easily sat 14, the large deck looked out at lake Hebgen with a backdrop of mountains. The kitchen was well designed and well provisioned to make mealtimes easy and fun with multiple family members pitching in to music and laughter. There is a large living room area for reading, conversation, and puzzles. There is a large downstairs rec room that has board games, DVD movies and a large screen tv. Also, the house had a large grass backyard for outdoor games and was a short walk or drive to the lake for swimming and boat rental.
The location of the house was perfect for multiple visits to Yellowstone National Park and activities available in the surrounding area but away from the crowds in the park and West Yellowstone. We toured the park multiple times, including a wolf tour in the Lamar Valley and multiple hikes to the geysers. In addition, there was river rafting, horseback riding, fishing, and tubing on the lake.
The homeowners Betty and Steve were excellent hosts. They met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house and answered all our questions. The had a large notebook prepared with information about restaurants, stores, activities, and sights to see. Throughout our stay they were always available if needed but were never intrusive. My family and I give this home a 5-star rating.

Our family of 9-11 travels somewhere new every 2 years and rents a home from VRBO to stay in. This is the fourth time we've done this, and this house was BY FAR the cleanest we've ever stayed in. It was also BY FAR the most well-stocked in terms of us not having to bring anything extra . . . beach towels, linens, soap, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, huge First Aid Kit. And I haven't even gotten to the kitchen! Two full racks of cooking spices, cooking oils and sprays, storage and cooking/serving containers, condiments in fridge, basic pantry items, coffee/tea, and on and on. We couldn't believe it. It truly made the meal prep and kitchen time so much less stressful for us The home is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures and we felt right at home. The main floor porch/balcony is gorgeous and takes full advantage of the view of the pristine Hebgen Lake and the mountains all around it. Sunsets are a must! We used the gas grill several times, and the kids had the best time watching the bats come in to roost at dusk. The kids also enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores, as well as the big back yard where they played all sorts of sports and such. The owners, Betty and Steve, could not be nicer people. Check in was a breeze, they left S'mores ingredients on the kitchen counter as a welcome, and although we didn't need much during our stay, the couple of times we had a question or needed help they responded immediately. Steve also lent us a fishing rod so we could take the kids on their first lake fishing experience. We appreciated that there was a huge book full of info sheets, maps, brochures, price lists etc in the kitchen. It helped us decide on some things and/or vendors. We brought the "Hiking Yellowstone" book we found in the great room with us in the car for four days of Park exploration. Highly recommend, and that should be included in the description of the amenities on VRBO because there is so much info in the house to help you make the most of your time there. Location gets 4 stars only because the house is on a highway, which wasn't super clear to us in the description, and although you overlook the Lake, there's no access directly (and the Lake is across the highway), so we were a bit disappointed about the reality vs. what the site implied. But it's a short drive to the West Gate of YNP and all sorts of activities and places. A wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the Park

Amazing vacation home!
The pics do not do this house justice!! Beautifully maintained had everything we needed and then some. The fire pit was a huge bonus....s’mores were had by all. The perfect location for so many activities. We rented a pontoon boat from the marina down the street and my dad caught some browns ❤️ Betty the owner gave us some great spots to check out! She is simply the best. This property is amazing and full of love!

Luxury Yellowstone Holiday!
The most impressive log house I have ever seen! Everything was designed to a high standard and accommodated our every need. The house is suited for a large family gathering...or just a single family looking for the ULTIMATE YELLOWSTONE EXPERIENCE.
The location of the house was perfect for both Yellowstone and going out on to Lake Hegben. There was so much to do that we found one week was not enough, and are researching as to when we can visit again. Yellowstone is a huge attraction but there is also Quake Lake as well as Virginia & Nevada City close by. Whether you are looking for water sports, history or nature....Hegben Paradise has it all.
The owners were really helpful and gave us insight on great local restaurants and places to visit off of the beaten track.
I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this property.

Excellent Vacation
We had a wonderful stay at Betty Adamsons beautiful home!! The home was everything and more we could have wanted from a great Montana home. Betty and her husband Steve are wonderful people and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and supplied with every amenity possible!!
We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Hebgen with our entire family including our 5 year old granddaughter, which was an excellent day!!
We woke to beautiful views of the Lake and surrounding mountains each motning. The fly fishing spots nearby were great as well as spots within park. The village of West Yellowstone is 15 mins. away with plenty of fun things to do. The gate to Yellowstone is in West Yellowstone so really convenient too!! I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in West Yellowstone, we highly recommend this wonderful home!!
Special Thank you to Betty and Steve.

Amazing house and location
Our family had an extraordinary time here. The location was idyllic. The house was comfortable and incredibly well stocked. The owners are wonderful, responsive, and helpful. Our family has rented dozens of homes over the last 15 years, and this is probably our favorite. We hope to return soon!

Everything we hoped for in a family vacation!
A beautiful log cabin perfect for a family gathering. We had five adults and one child--perfect amount of space for us. Could easily handle many more guests. The home was perfect--waking up each morning to the views of Lake Hebgen and the mountain range. Weather was great the first week of June. Great place to spend the entire time away from home or to use as a base to visit Yellowstone or travel to Jackson Hole on a day trip. If you are lucky enough to reserve Steve and Betty's home you will have made your time in the area much more enjoyable!

A Slice of Heaven
Driving up to this gorgeous home on Hebgen Lake, you know immediately that you're in for a treat. The Adamsons are the ultimate hosts inviting you into their beautifully decorated home, appointed with every amenity one could want in a lakeside cabin. We visited nearby West Yellowstone, loved the IMAX presentations and the kids got a thrill feeding the bears at The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Fly fishing on the Madison was amazing. Entering Yellowstone National Park through the nearby west entrance was convenient. Yellowstone never fails to thrill. The Bar N Ranch Restaurant was a delightful treat for a special evening out. Thank you, Steve and Betty, for sharing your home with our family. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Exceptional vacation!
Our family of ten had a wonderful stay at Betty and Steve's beautiful log home on Hebgen Lake. The house is perfectly set up for a large family gathering -- wonderful master suite on the top floor (with a great view of the lake, balcony, and hammock), and four comfortable bedrooms downstairs all connected to a spacious common room, which leads directly outside. We all love to cook, and we found the kitchen to be exceptional -- large, wonderfully stocked, and perfect for many chefs! It rained during our part of our week, but we enjoyed sitting in the beautiful living room with a roaring fire in the fireplace. The West Yellowstone airport is only 20 minutes away -- so very convenient. This is a perfect place for a wonderful and memorable family gathering!

A cabin?
This "cabin" is so much more than that word suggests. From the time we saw the VRBO photo to the time we drove up the driveway, we each had an idea of where we would be enjoying our first big family vacation.
Fourteen people staying in one house? Two very young and very active little boys and two mid-elementary-school-age siblings, their six parents plus two grandparents and an aunt and uncle, all comfortably spending a full week together in one house? Right. Well, it worked and it was awesome. That is one wonderful "cabin" in a magical place. We took full advantage of nearby Hebgen Lake, including catching fish for two days from a rental pontoon boat. We spent several full days in Yellowstone National Park and soon we were glad to see backed up park traffic, knowing we were very likely about to have a close look at a full-size bison strolling slowly between lanes of traffic or near the road. We saw many wonderful animals and birds each day. Staying in a comfortable and beautiful "cabin" with adventure opportunities nearby for every age group and interest was perfect. We will always remember our awesome Yellowstone family vacation. Betty, our very gracious and thoughtful host, was available if we needed anything or had questions but she never hovered or intruded. Betty and her family have created a remarkable and complete vacation home and our family feels very fortunate to have been able to enjoy it. We hope to return some day and have already heartily recommended it to friends.

Family Vacation
Our grown children wanted a family vacation instead of Christmas presents. This was a fantastic gift for everyone. The cabin was beautiful, large and fully equipped with everything you needed. There were 8 adults and 4 children (5 to 13). Plenty of room. The view of Hebgen Lake was breath taking. Not far from West Yellowstone and the entrance to the park.
Made a fire and had mountain pies for dinner and smores several night, celebrated my husbands 66th birthday, kids had large yard to run in. Would recommend this cabin for a fun and relaxing family vacation!

Great meeting place
Drove from Seattle to meet family from Minneapolis. 4 adults and 6 kids. It was more than we expected. Plenty of space, really top notch cleanliness, and the yard and fire pit were perfect for the kids to enjoy. Betty (the host) was extremely kind and attentive. She helped us out when we needed something and was also helpful with some tips of the local amenities and attractions. We went here to explore Yellowstone, but enjoyed a day heading west to explore Quake Lake and the visitor center there. The place is across the highway from some public beaches of Hebgen Lake where we swam. There is also a restaurant walking distance a few hundred yards away with quite good food (the service was slow that night, but we arrived just after an unusually large crowd). We would return here for sure...it was all that we hoped it would be.

Perfect Vacation
We rented this cabin when we visited Yellowstone in August. Our big group that included 3 families (6 kids and 6 adults) had a wonderful time at this beautiful and well kept place. After long days in Yellowstone which was easy 15 mins drive from the cabin, we were happy to come back "home" where we can enjoy barbecue on the porch, gorgeous sunsets, bonfire and s'mores, Kids loved running around on the well kept grass, play in the sand box and pet owners' dog Maggie. The house was well stack with everything that we needed from gourmet kitchen to beach towels. The place is PERFECT.

Family Get Together
Our family, 8 adults and 5 children, stayed in this beautiful home for one week. The home and surroundings were everything promised and only 16 miles to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Each evening after a full day of sight seeing, we would come back to the house and enjoy the view from the porches as the children took advantage of the soft grassy lawn, sandbox, horseshoes, and firepit. The home was well stocked with linens, blankets and pillows, Having a washer and dryer was a plus, as well as having a beautiful gourmet kitchen and large outdoor gas grill to prepare our meals. I would recommend this home to any family planning a get together.

Family Get Together
There were 13 of us ranging in age from 3-66 years, 8 adults and 5 children. The home was spacious, clean, warmly decorated, and it felt like a home not a rental. The grounds were well manicured and complete with sandbox, horseshoes, firepit, and lots of safe area for the children to play and "get some enery out"! The views are spectacular and the owners, Betty & Steve, were friendly, warm, and gracious. We would all highly recommend this home to anyone planning a large family gathering in the Yellowstone area.

Best Vacation Ever!
The online pictures and description does not do this place justice - it is absolutely fabulous and made for a great family vacation. We had 12 adults and 1 child and everyone had plenty of room. We used the cabin as a homebase for seeing Yellowstone and it was perfect - only 20 min to the West Yellowstone entrance and the lake views were awesome - better than staying in "town" anyday. We used the kitchen for most meals and it was everything it said - plenty of room for several people to be in at once and all the pots/pans, spices, oil, flour, etc you could need. We used the horse shoe and sandbox outside and the firepit for a campfire and smores most nights, too. The bedrooms were more than spacious and had plenty of towels, blankets, etc for everyone. We even took a family picture in front of the fireplace with the buffalo head!
The owners - Betty and Steve - were great too, answering any questions before and while we were there. We definitely recommend this place and hope to one day come back and spend some more time in the area.
