This was our second year here and it does not disappoint. Beautiful and meticulously clean.

This home is on a beautiful property overlooking the water. We could have sat on the deck and watched the tides go in and out all day! The home has everything you would need -- and is so conveniently located. We loved our stay!

If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay that's away from the bustling mid- coast towns, this it it. We loved the laid back feel here. The apartment is very homey and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked; we found everything we needed to cook our meals. The view here is outstanding, and ever-changing as the cove is on a tidal river. There is great birdwatching from the deck or lawn. Our host was friendly and very responsive to our questions. We loved our time here!

We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean really can’t be beat. We loved just sitting out on the deck or in the yard watching the water and the beautiful sunsets. The check in process was clear and the host sent helpful information ahead of time. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner with more amenities, but overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Quiet, private, beautiful views from the huge and well-equipped deck. If you are fussy about your shower, you should know that this one is little. But there is a lobster pot for those days you’re too comfortable to drive over to McLoons

Stunning sunsets overlooking a quiet cove near Tenant’s Harbor and Port Clyde, with scenery by Andrew Wyeth abounding. Kind and friendly owner, well-equipped and comfortable apartment, wonderful five-day stay.

Very comfortable. We were there during an oppressive heat wave, but when the windows were open it created a great cross breeze & we were very comfortable.
The sunsets were amazing!!!!!

After 20+ years, it was great to visit this part of Maine again. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the view couldn't be beat. It was an easy drive to Port Clyde (cute village and a wonderful puffin cruise) as well as Boothbay (the Botanic Garden), Thomaston, and Rockland.
One minor complaint: there was no cabinet for guests' food. Perhaps one could be installed where the coffee bar is.
I would recommend this rental to my friends.

This property was the perfect place for us. The location allowed us to explore several areas without having to drive very far. The sunsets were incredible and watching the tide come in and out was awesome. Its quiet comfortable and would recommend it to anyone looking for some beautiful views and relaxation.

The apartment overlooking Watts Cove near Tenants Harbor is splendid. The second-floor view is stunning and the apartment is very comfortable and well-stocked with many fun design features. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and found glassware, plates, bowls, pots pans, and utensils as needed. Major appliances are all new. The kitchen table is set in front of the windows so we could enjoy the cove while eating. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The living area has comfortable furniture and we enjoyed the electric fireplace heat on cold rainy nights and early mornings. The bathroom is nicely laid out and also has interesting design touches. The property is sizeable with sufficient room to use the crochet set that was provided or just sit and read in one of the Adirondack chairs. Proximity to Port Clyde, Tenants Harbor, Thomaston, and Rockland is reasonable. There are many preserves with excellent hiking trails nearby. There is also a natural spring about a mile away from which you can get refreshing spring water as needed. The property owner was always available and answered questions quickly. I would highly recommend renting this apartment for a relaxed time away.

Fantastic view and deck and friendly hosts who told us about a great place to hike (Clark Island Wildlife Preserve).

The area is beautiful and the deck is a wonderful place to watch the tides change and the sun set, and everything in between. I hope to be back someday.

Lovely grounds right on the water with apple tree just outside the window. Lots of birds on the water. Came right after Hurricane Lee went past, fortunately not too close. One day of nice weather though. Lots of stairs so better not to take a huge suitcase. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful property as our home away from home while we were visiting from CT for a close friend's wedding. The wedding was less than a mile away and we were easily the luckiest guests in terms of accommodations. Close by with an absolutely stunning view and very unique/well-kept property. Jane was very friendly and her directions were so helpful. We can't wait to revisit this home again in the future.

We loved our brief stay in Tenants Harbor. The cottage is clean, comfortable and sports stunning views across the wildlife preserve. Peaceful and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay, the property had a beautiful view and was cozy and comfortable. Comfortable beds, lovely cool breeze at night. Close proximity to many fun activities and sights. The only thing we wish it had was air conditioning, day time temps inside were warmer than expected and didn’t cool off until late at night but we made the best of it! Thankful for a nice family vacation.

The place was perfect in so many ways! The location is excellent. We brought our own canoe and explored the cove right outside our door, biked over to Port Clyde, and were within a short drive of great places to eat in Thomaston and Rockland. The view from the apartment is beautiful- it was so fun to watch the tide come in and out, accompanied by lots of bird activity. The apartment itself was comfortable, cozy, clean, and fit our needs perfectly. The picnic table on the deck was our favorite place. Finally, our host was welcoming and informative. We want to come back next year!!

As you walk in the door from the deck you turn to your left and hang all your worries, concerns etc on the coat pole. You are know inhabiting one of the most serene places on the planet. No traffic noise. No aircraft overhead at less than 30,000 feet. You are surrounded by silence except for the sounds of birds and an occasional boat in the bay. You enjoy the fresh fish, oysters, clams, crab and lobster on the deck as the sun sets in the west. There are three fish mongers within a half hour drive or so. Best is Grafffam Brother's Seafood at 118 Main St, Rockland. You have not lived until you have tasted the Eggs Benedict at The Port Clyde General Store. It rained for most of our stay but there are world class museums in Rockland. Wyeth, Rockwell Kent and Edward Hopper all represented very well. Do not hesitate to take the ferry to Monhegan Island. Treat yourself to a cup of clam chowder at The Barnacle Restaurant. The weather in Maine is notorious for being fickle but one thing for sure....There are three months of summer and nine months of damn poor sledding.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the view from the deck. Sunsets were often a real treat! The apartment is also well located and we easily roamed the entire mid-coast region from Camden to Damariscotta. It was a great week!!

Stayed a few days in June. Easy location to all local attractions and a perfect, lovely sunset view. Quiet, too.

A comfortable apartment in a beautiful location. A great view of the cove from the porch - especially at high tide - and the kids had fun running around and playing in the yard. A delightful weekend of hiking, lobster and lighthouses!

Getting in upon our arrival was perfect. Found the key and entered. We are not big TV watchers, but it rained for the first three days of our stay and it would have been nice to be able to watch TV of which there isn't one. The description/instructions for using the water wasn't clear. The owner said you can use the tap water, but they use bottled water. Coming in at night after dark was an issue. There is only one outside light that doesn't lite the driveway or the deck at the entry door. The shower is small and the nozzle doesn't have pressure as well as there are two handles for the water that by code is illegal. Overall, the space is clean and has all you need. The furnature is a bit hodge-podge but okay.

A delightful sanctuary tucked away and surrounded by the beauty that only nature can provide. This sweet cottage is well appointed with everything you need. It is the kind of place that invites you to linger for just a little while longer. Thank you Jane for sharing it.

It was wonderful to wake up to the view every morning. I wished we had had more down time to enjoy the apartment more. This was a good location between Portland and Acadia. The location made it easy to see a lot in a short period of time. There is plenty to see and do!

This rental is in a beautiful location- right on the water! It was also perfectly located to travel up and down the coast of Maine and see so many towns.
It was comfortable enough for 2 adults and had most of everything we needed. Although we didn’t find most of the pots and pans until the last morning (in the drawer under the stove), we were able to make do with what we did find. We didn’t know until we arrived that bottled water was recommended, but we were able to pick that up the next day since Jane had provided 1 gallon in the refrigerator. The Wi-Fi wasn’t completely reliable, even after a reset, but since we weren’t there all day, it was fine.
The best part was definitely the view and watching the tide change over the day. So quiet and peaceful!

We had a great week here- between sitting in the deck watching the tides and birds to getting out everyday with the kayak we rented (and was delivered right to the house for the week)! The house was cozy and inviting. We had to use the heater one night to take the chill off- a treat to have it and watch the electric flame. House was well stocked. This was our second year and hope to go back again next year. Lots of hiking in the area too.

Beautiful Sunsets from the deck. Apartment was clean and well equipped for all our needs. Great location for exploring. We visited Camden Hills State Park, Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse ,
Owls Head Lighthouse and Beach and we ate the Best lobster rolls at McLoons just to name a few. If in the area in the future we will most certainly stay
At this beautiful rental

We couldn’t get enough of the absolutely gorgeous view overlooking the water with long sunsets. Twenty minutes from everything summer brings: kayaking, hiking, light houses, lobster shacks and ice cream. Rockland with museum, restaurants and excellent coffee. A cozy place to return to, after a day out and about, with comfortable beds and beautiful outdoor space.
