Good base for exploring Amsterdam if you don't want to stay in the centre

plentiful parking, quiet rooms, we had a family room with a separate room to the side which worked well. 15 mins walk to metro stop.

Rooms cancelled by hotel without warning. Cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Did not like anything, not stayed in the hotel either.

Hotel manager was terribly rude, never before met anyone like her! Our group of 12 ladies were taking part of the World Gymnaestrada 2023. Arrived at the hotel on Sat evening and reception/manager said that our rooms were cancelled due to not paid in advance. We made reservation on Nov 2022 and have black on white that rooms to be paid on arrival, not in advance. So they cancelled without any information and only thing manager was able to say was "I'm sorry, I have no rooms for you, we are fully booked!" Believe they cancelled due to getting better price when all hotels in the area were full due to World Gymnaestrada and coming Pride week. All other emails from hotel were well received in advance and even after our booked days but not the said cancellation email or change of terms of payment, how convenient! Never, ever book this hotel is our advise.

Appropriate if you arrive by car, otherwise..

The good thing on this hotel is that it provides free parking. Connection to the city centre by public transport is fine too.

The main issue was that the hotel was hardly clean. Spots and hair on a pillow, very limited cleaning during our stay (we had to ask for toilet paper and soap). The problems were often solved by the staff, but it required several reminders, we were fed up by this. There is apparently the problem with staff and management there, lady at night reception was usually helpful, but that's all.

Worst value for money I have ever stayed at.

The windows in the room do not block sound or wind - you can count the trains running outside. The towels are from the last century. The faux leather beds (for some reason?!) are tiny (double deluxe room) and mattresses have holes in them. There were bulbs missing in my lamps. The halls are smelly, a reminder of the time you could still smoke there. The location is awful, there’s a gas station right in front of the entrance and a dirty parking lot as the view during breakfast. You have to walk to the metro for about 12minutes through a messy underpass.

Adequate, but could be much better.

Convenient position as long as you have a car or use a taxi. Breakfast was good, and the even food in the evening was OK quality standard hotel fare.

Bed was worn out or broken which I reported on departure. Cosy Taxi deal with the hotel, means that guests that request taxis have to wait ages for sole taxi company come. Much better to use Uber or go next door to the petrol station where there are many taxis at a lower cost rate.

A nice 2-night stay to meet friends in Amsterdam

1 km from nearest metro station, quite convenient. Room is a little small. But all OK

Relatively cheap, decent location, friendly reception.

The front desk staff, especially Ella were very friendly and attentive.

The cleaner who did the daily turn down service left our door open slightly while we were out all day. we were just lucky nothing was stolen, as all our ID (passports) and credit cards (with maxs over 50k) were not taken.

overall it was good and expect staffs to be more pro active regarding the facilities we opted for

room, it was good and it will be more good if you can share more details about room size at the time of online booking.

blankets as they were very small. we even booked for baby bed which they provided only after we asking, it is expected to be at the room when we check-in

Not worth it...

As one family member fell sick befor arrrival, we tried to call the hotel. Hotel was not reachable at all. Had to call Booking.com, however they could also not help to amend the booking. Booking.com said the hotel has to agree, however the hotel said that Booking.com hast to amend the booking. One bed was fine, the other bed was saggy and felt like camping. Main train tracks infront of the window, so no chance to open the window for fresh air. Hotel feels dated and old, not worth the price we paid. Friendly service for breakfast though with a good selection.

Friendly staff, easy to get to by car and metro! Everything was in working order. Good breakfast choice. Evening meals big portions.
