A dream!

Oia Mare Villas is amazing! You can not get a better "Santorini" view. We were impressed with the pick up from the port- they were on time and the driver was so nice and gave us a ton of initial advice on what to do! We also were amazed at the Oia Mare staff that helped us lug our big bags throughout the many stairs of Oia (they are so strong!) We watched the sunset from our porch multiple nights- free of the big crowds that come into Oia at sunset! It was close to a ton of amazing restaurants and the staff was top notch! They gave us advice and booked us excursions even day of without issue. Would highly recommend Oia Mare to anyone staying in Santorini. 6/5 stars!!!

Beautiful view and room, experience was ok

Nice location, the room was as per the photos, but the experience was a bit different to what we expected, eg the breakfast was below par. It’s nice but doesn’t have the 5 star hotel service you would expect for the cost per night.

Be totally self sufficient

Situation … cliff top

Toilet door would not close and we requested 3 times to be fixed. Left with it still not fixed. Coffee pods and water only offered on first day not thereafter for a stay of the 6 days. Ordered take away pizza at night from limited menu but was told no cheese. Next day no one can deliver to your room. It was supposed to be room service.

Superb

We had a great experience at Oia Mare Villas. It is a little tricky to get to the property due to the many stairs, but this is Santorini; stairs are part of the experience and you just need to get used to it. Very easy to arrange a transfer pickup from the airport to the hotel and the hotel staff will assist with all of your luggage to get to the property. They also assisted us in getting a transfer to the port after our stay and took care of our bags. Hotel staff were exceptional. They were very knowledgeable, patient, and polite. The room was spotless. Only complaint was the shower was a bit odd with no door or curtain so the water went everywhere. The view from our room could not be better. Gorgeous sight lines of the caldera and the famous Oia sunset right from our balcony. Location is also fantastic. Very central to restaurants, bars, and shops. Also right next to Ammoudi Bay which is beautiful (if you are up for the many steps)! I would definitely recommend this location! Thank you Oia Mare Villas for making our first time in Santorini very special!

Shower water would get cold and stay cold 10 minutes into shower. Not enough towels in the room. Not a ton of options for breakfast and wouldn’t refill trays once they ran out

Dream come true!

We stayed here as part of a family holiday in May 2023. There were 5 of us all together and we stayed in 3 separate villas, all with our own private hot tubs :) Oia Mare Villas is paradise! However, if you are unable to navigate steep stairs, this isn't the location for you. It is worth all the stair climbing though, for the magical views and wonderful staff on-site! From the moment we booked online, George was incredible with his communication, helping us to organise a birthday surprise for our Mum, including a birthday cake and her room filled with the most beautiful balloons, it was very special! She was so surprised when we checked in, the staff pulled it off perfectly :) They also helped us make restaurant bookings and were always so friendly. The hotel chef was also fabulous and breakfast every morning was a delight! We honestly can't wait to come back again one day :)

Stunning Oia Mare Villas has fantastic views, luxury amenities, but is challenging to get to

Oia Mare Villas is an outstanding hotel with stunning views, it is situated in an area of Oia that many tourists flock to in order to capture sunset photos. We rented a large villa with two separate bedrooms, one had a double bed, and one had two single beds. We were very comfortable and had ample space to spread out. The pool is beautiful and just amazing to have a pool on the cliff side town of Oia. The staff were helpful, and in particular always on time. They made the transfer both to and from the Oia Mare Villas seamless and stress free. Overall, we were very happy we chose to stay at Oia Mare Villas.

Oia Mare Villas is difficult to get to, and if you're someone who likes to come and go several times a day, you're in for a serious workout. It is nestled at least 10-12 minutes down steep and treacherous steps, that are very slipper when wet. One of our days did experience a rare rainfall, and this was extremely scary, even for the fittest members of our family. If you like climbing/descending steep steps, you will love the Oia Mare Villas. While we loved the hotel, we did not enjoy how challenging it is to get there.

Great location for sunset and to avoid crowds and still be able to take in the views.

Too many stairs to get to property! how we they did have porters for our bags. Staff could have been a little better and they try to charge for my boyfriend getting stuck in the bathroom and the door handle doing off.

The view of the caldera was excellent, and we were perfectly situated for maximum sunset views. Next time we will book a room with a private hot tub, but our room was very cozy and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

WiFi wasn’t great, but that was so all over the island.

really bad

The receptionist asked me to fulfill a form that request 2 sides of my credit card and cvv, which made me feel uncomfortable. On my last day there, my card was hacked and debited several times with total amount of over one thousand euros. This card was just opened right before my trip and no hotel asked for my card info before. Thus, I believe that they disclosed my card info to hackers or third party. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

It was an absolute dream.

First off the service was amazing! The front desk lady upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite because they had room. So nice! The breakfast was wonderful and had the best views from every area of the property. The room itself was a dream!! Could not have had a better experience!

The only thing to mention, not that it was bad, was the amount of stairs you have to climb to get to the main shopping/restaurant street. To be honest though ALL of Santorini is like this so it wasn't a negative on the hotel, just something to be aware of when coming to Santorini.
