Nicest high end facility in Augsburg. Great staff and service. Great location allowing walking to most central city areas.
The breakfast per person pricing is rather extreme, but after ten AM they do have good options for breakfast.

Außergewöhnliches Frühstück und exorbitant nettes Personal

This is an outstanding hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. We appreciated the large room, antiques on each floor, and the central location. We travel occasionally though this part of Germany and will definitely stay here again.

Centrally situated in Maximilian Square
Despite requesting two beds the hotel hadn’t bothered to read request and we had to wait whilst management debated with the cleaners if they would separate the beds, which they eventually did
No information about how to get to the hotel which was situated in a pedestrian only part of the square so parked, probably illegally, just outside the pedestrian area whilst we checked in. Receptionist said we could have driven up to the hotel. Staff then parked car elsewhere. However, when hotel staff bought car back to hotel the following morning we were ticketed with a €55 fine whilst we loaded the cases. Hotel said they would deal with this.
Small drab room and air conditioning didn’t noticeably work.

In 1763 Mozart's family stayed here. The Sculpture of Drei Mohren was so nice. Bar and the restaurant were so fascinating.
The original hotel name shall be used. It does not harm any discrimination.

The breakfast is excellent, staff in the restaurant is very nice, friendly and helpful.
Nice bathroom with a bathtub and spacious shower.
Great location.
Both hot saunas were great. (Steam bath was not on unfortunately.)
The door between the shower and the bathroom is very difficult to open.
Room service personnel knocked at the room door and opened it without waiting for an answer - this happened twice during our one day stay for no reason (we hadn’t ordered anything or weren’t expect anyone to come). The first time it happened we were disturbed while sleeping. It’s a minor thing but wouldn’t expect this from a five star hotel personnel.

Luxurious. Breakfast was excellent.
Beds weren't firm enough for my liking.

this was our third stay at Maximilians. I adore everything about the hotel. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff always friendly. Unfortunately it looks like we won’t be back in Augsburg again, but recommend anyone who does visit Augsburg, to stay at Maximilians
