Der Pool, direkt unter unserem Zimmer. Das Essen. Das riesige Spielzimmer.
Es wäre perfekt gewesen, wenn das Wasser im Pool ein wenig wärmer gewesen wäre.

Super Lage, tolles Fruehstueck.

big rooms, great breakfst and nice playroom for kids
the quality of food in the evening could have been better

Our room was beautiful and close to the mountain with a couch, chairs, small table, a desk, a large closet, a comfy bed, and a spacious, shady balcony. There was a separate small room with toilet and basin in addition to the shower, tub, sink and vanity room. The hotel was very close to the Alp Languard lift, but the area was surprisingly quiet in spite of the construction. The food was all good, especially the desserts. We had dinner every night there, because it was such a good deal and so convenient. The staff was super friendly and very helpful! I noticed a large children’s playroom right next to the hotel bar and a number of young families in the hotel. Our adult son enjoyed the sauna and spa, with robes and slippers provided to all guests. We paid a nominal extra fee to park in the attached hotel garage. And we were pleased with the hotel‘s shuttle service to the train station. Loved the noon checkout time!
The elevator system in the two buildings was a bit confusing at first. The food was somewhat unfamiliar to us Americans, and it was tasty, but the entrees seemed a bit heavy and rich with a lot of sauces. A wide variety of appetizers and an extensive salad bar were available however, for a light meal. We would have preferred better music in the dining room, particularly irritating our first evening. No music would have been better.

Great Hotel, super friendly staff, lovely restaurant & food. There is a big play room for kids close to the bar area. Staff was really friendly with kids, e.g. organized egg hunting at Easter. Would definitely come back again.

The room was very. The spa and the pool were very nice.
That to get to the spa/pool you need to walk past the windows to the dining room and through the bar.

The hotel picked me up from the station which was great as I had some heavy luggage, The hotel is located on the main street in the centre of the village. All the staff I met were excellent particularly reception, the bar, the dining area and the room cleaning staff.

Nice weather, nice place, very kind staff always with smile, nicely renovated hotel on the main road of the Pontresina (without too many cars tho), yummy breakfast with variety of choices and nice swimming pool and fantastic wellness (sauna) free of charge. Plus you get Engadin summer card (for stay of 2 nights+) which provides you with free public transport and cablelines
We got a room with really very small bathroom and you have to pay for parking but since you get the Summer card, it easily pays off when you use public transport or cableline couple times.

Nice room, super nice staff, good breakfast

This was a very well run hotel. Staff were very fire and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view from our balcony. We also got free passes on chairlifts and cable cars in the area. Breakfast buffet offered a good choice.
The bathroom was clean but the Fitbit was a bit dated.

Great staff! Helpful, welcoming, generous. Also we got free transport pass to all area + mountains

CERTAINLY THE BREAKFAST WAS EXTREMELY GOOD AND ABOUNDANT. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS ALSO NICE AND THE SPA WAS CLEAN.
THE ROOM THAT WE HAD WAS OLD AND NOT VERY CHARMING, MAYBE OTHER ROOMS IN THE HOTEL HAVE BETTER FURNISH AND DECO AND WOOD. OUR ROOM WAS A FAMILY ROOM WITH TOTALLY NO VIEW

Facilities, Food & Staff
water was not so hot in our room when taking a shower. sometimes was even cold though the tap was turned all they way to the end

The hotel location is very convenient and right in the center of the village. The ski rental is part of the hotel facility which offers a one stop service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is cosy, breakfast is sufficient and the spa facility is good.
None.

The room bathroom was a bit too tight

The room was in the older section of the hotel, which we knew when we booked. It was really large, and we enjoyed our balcony that had a view of the mountains, and also was right next to a small wooded area with trees. The room was fixed up nicely. There was an elevator, we were on the 4th floor. The room was very quiet, and had enough windows for good ventilation since it was warm when we were in Pontresina.
There was a spa with sauna and steam rooms, as well as relaxation rooms. We used these each day, and never saw anyone else there but one person. The sauna rules were posted outside the spa and were "a la natural", no suits allowed, which we were a but uncomfortable with at first, but no one else was ever there at the same time we were, so we got used to it.
The indoor pool area was also nice, but we did not swim, we just sat in the lounge chairs to relax. We were not sure if it was heated, but it was not cold.
We enjoyed the bar and one complimentary glass of wine, and talking with the bartender there the first night, we were the first travelers he had talked with from the USA this season. We ate a small dinner sandwich there the first night since we were tired.
The breakfast in the morning was great, it was well stocked, we never had a problem getting a table, and the service was wonderful.
We used their shuttle service to go to the train station when we left, but did not use it when we arrived and that was our mistake. Everything in Pontresina is uphill from the train station, and it was quite a hike with luggage. We actually enjoyed using the buses more than the train to get around, they were generally faster and the bus stops were much closer than the train station.
The included Engandin Card was a great addition, although we think most hotels offer the same benefit after talking to some other travelers. It offers free transportation in the region covered, and free admission to most of the sights and cable cars.
Nothing, everything was great.

Need a tub in room- I was returning late and tired to go to the pool
Breakfast was great 😊
Spa didn’t make it
The dinners ‘ price a bit to expensive for my budget. I thought half-board was half - price like other hotels in the area. I did not have desserts but price didn’t change- 😢
