Beautiful island, beautiful spot, beautiful food. Should have been warning about the construction noise and the walls ar

The private beach and the restaurant were very good.

There was construction all day while trying to relax by the water. I was put in a room that was clearly meant to be a joining room for a family and I could hear everything that was happening in the room next door, like they were in my room meaning I found it very difficult to sleep.

The check in process upon arrival, the confusion from two men in particular with no English speaking ability and the deceptive room photos in comparison to the booking made. We were ready to walk and book another hotel, not comforting with 2 young children and having travelled all morning and excited to check in for 5 days. After strong discussions we settled on a suitable room

Lovely views but unfortunately uncomfortable bed

Our room had a lovely sea and castle view, shower had good water pressure and a good selection for breakfast. If you don’t mind a steep walk, you can be in the town and close to restaurants within 20 minutes. You have spa, pool and sea access (just watch the jellyfish!)

The bed was not comfortable at all so unfortunately I had terrible nights sleep. The staff were as helpful as they could be but at times there were language barriers - which we know to expect given we are in their country but it did make it tricky to order things like food and drinks and ask basic questions. There’s no iron available to guests unless arranged the day before which they said would be costly, so a heads up for anyone that may like to have access to that amenity.

I hope to come back to Ischia again and I would absolutely chose to stay here again!

This property is in a perfect location and the views are incredible!! They have different levels of decks for swimming and lounging and access to swim in the sea. Indoors and outdoors were decorated beautifully and the view just can’t be beat! My room had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the beautiful view. The staff were very helpful. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and it is walking distance to the castle.

Astonishing view surrounded by the beautiful nature of Cartaromana Bay

Location location location! It exceeded our expectations. One of the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the astonishing Island of Ischia. Waterfront, private beach and the majesty of the Aragonese Castle right in front of you with Capri, Amalfi Coast and Procida Island as background Few minutes from the historic downtown Ischia Ponte and the main Port of Ischia. We'll definitely be back soon! Than you Ermando and the full staff for the incredible experience!!

Disappointing

This is a 2 star hotel with too many stears that needs a renovation and we were given a room in the basement!!!. The room had a terible smell. There were more then 200 stears from the entrance to our room and we are a senior cuple. There is only one indoor pool in the spa and on the pictures there are two! We were given a complimentary dinner which thay tried to charge us. The next day we were moved to the room we made the reservation.

Trust the bad rating on Booking

Right by the sea side, good air conditioner

No sun umbrellas on the sun deck. The photo of the hotel beach area on Booking is not true. The are on the photo belongs to a few different hotels. part of the hotel area by the sea is just trashy and deserted. Might get noisy when the restaurant is rented out for private parties.

I would not recommend this hotel

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel - it’s quite run down, not very clean and our bathroom was constantly filled with strong cigarette smell. The breakfast was not cold, despite having lots of fruit and dairy products. The place needs a serious overhaul and much more attentive staff to warrant anything close to a 4 star hotel.
