really good location for Ischia, near the beach and town and can walk to the port. we loved the pool it was the best bit and drinks service at the pool.
the gym was very disappointing and not useable. could do with an upgrade.
1.5
Only location by the sea.
NOT RECOMMENDED TO STAY!!! Our stay was terrible, we were really sad about staying in this hotel - the hotel is absolutely outdated, everything is old, their spa is damaged (jacuzzi, steam bath...). Definitely not 4* hotel, I would say maybe 1-2*. For this quite high price I would imagine anything totally different. Staff by the breakfast was totally incompetent. The food was very poor quality (see pictures), few times we were sick after breakfast.
Only the young ladies at the reception were helpful, otherwise horrible, NO MORE!
4.0
Very quiet and the balcony facingthegardenwas pleasant in the evening. There were many excellent restaurants nearby. The ferry port was nearby but it was better to take a taxi to and from with luggage. The pool area had lots of sun loungers available.
The air-conditioning did not work and the room stayed very warm until late afternoon. The breakfast room was chaotic and not many choices for vegetarians. The most difficult thing at breakfast was getting coffee which was very difficult.
3.5
The facilities available were good however the spa was not fully functioning for the entire time we were there. The hotel is more likely a 3 star than 4 star but it is in a really good location.
Some of the staff were quite rude and not very helpful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we were told the air con wasn't working across the hotel but we were made aware from other guests it was working so it was just our room that was not.

Location and overall hotel facilities
Food not as expected.

The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. Great pool and.location. we had a huge terrace overlooking the pool and sea. 👍
Not that we did not like, but the furnishings were a bit dated, but in excellent condition. If you are looking for a swanky place, this is not it.
5.0
It would be nice to have have more fresh food in the breakfast.

Breakfast was fine. Location is great.

It had a pool
The hotel facilities are old and desperately need upgrading; the rooms are complete with retro tiles, heavy wooden furniture that takes up a lot of space and isn’t nice. The room hadn’t been cleaned, only the linens replaced. The spa was dirty and unsafe; with in pool lighting and wiring not fixed and floating in one of the pools. Stay anywhere else, consider staying in a different part of the island too.

Staff needs to be more polite, food was underwhelming

Location and the staff were very helpful and nice. I also enjoyed the xcalm in the hotel and the pool.
it is very old decorated

The location , the breakfast staff , the dining room staff & the bartender,& The guy at the pool
The Mold in the shower head, the walls and floor. The lack of A/C in the Dining room & lounge 90° for breakfast sitting there Sweating, Owner wouldn't put it on
Our room faced a walk with someone's Underwear hanging out for days, Asked to switch rooms was told $400 more , Other friends had no A/C for 2 Days gave them a Fan wouldn't change room

excellent Location
Hotel was outdated and the staff is not very accommodating
4.0
The location was ideal for trips into the port, for restaurants and bars. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and sun loungers, and if you needed the beach it was just outside the hotel. The staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble.
While the hotel was clean and tidy, it is in need of an upgrade as the stile is old as is most of the furniture but don't let this put you off my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

central location. big room. nice balcony.
very old and run down. Air-condition was really loud. the dishes at breakfast were dirty a lot of the time. we had mould in the bathroom. You couldn’t go from pool to beach most of the day because the door from the pool area to the beach was locked. what is the point of being located right by the beach then?

The Pool was nice!
The bed was a discrace, My gf asked for more shampoo late at night and we got hassle!
2.0
The A/C was not working during breakfast and the tables' area was very hot!
The main door's room did not have a lock from the inside. It was absolutely unsafe for children.

very nice swimming pool, perfect location, very kind staff
the air conditioner was really loud

Ischia is beautiful and the hotel was wonderful. We were near the end of our long trip, and it was a great spot to relax and enjoy the great weather and scenery. The Staff were great too!
Hard to think of any negatives. We enjoyed our stay, and everything worked out well.
4.0
Location was perfect , beside beach and close to lots of restaurants.
Pool was good and not busy so easy to get sun beds. Only 10 min walk one way to port with good selection bars / food etc
and 10/15 min walk in other direction to next town and more beaches , castle etc.
Hotel was a bit old world - reception seemed to be using ledgers and books , not computers to manage reservations etc..
My bill was calculated manually while checking out and an error made , however rectified immediately without fuss
2.0
The location was quite central and the bar staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.
Air conditioning did not work at all. When we asked the staff to turn it on, they said it only works in July and August. As a result, we found it very hard to sleep.
The facilities feel outdated. The basement SPA felt like the remnants of an old mental asylum.
3.5
location
WiFi coverage not available
4.5
Very kind and helpful staff. guided us well on how to reach the property from Naples.
4.0
Very clean and staff were very friendly.
In the spa, the steam room and sauna were not on - The island in general was very quiet when we went so there weren’t many guests so we assume this was the reason.
2.5
spacious rooms
facilities were very outdated and the beds were very uncomfortable. the pillows were flimsy and thin and the bed sheets were low quality and scratchy. the reception staff were very rude and unhelpful and the wifi didn’t reach to our room.
4.0
Furniture are a bit old. The room door key is old style. Shower room is a bit old fashion.
Location is the center of the town and stuffs are very nice.
Beach front. Room floor is nice ceramic tiles. Price is relatively reasonable.
4.5
Location is great. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast had many options just that one can't go to pick things up as per the need was a bit awkward for me. However this was due to the COVID-19 pandemic issue.
Apart from spa, the hotel is outdated. When I arrived, the door seemed a bit open but it was actually not maintained (i.e. loose in nature). Feels 90s in fact.

The rooms were cleaned spotlessly and the maître d'hotel and the bartender were friendly, spoke multiple languages and very helpful.
The staff barely spoke english, was quite unhelpful as well. Breakfast was horribly dull with barely any options, you had to tell the staff what you wanted (due to Covid) but they didn't understand any english (or any language but Italian) and the coffee was frankly disgusting and flaky.
We booked this hotel for the pool and the thermal spa. We had to figure out where the spa was because no one tells you nor is it indicated anywhere.
Worst of all, we paid nearly €900 for a full week, standard room, to use the pool and thermal spa but for some reason (probably Covid) we had to wear a bathcap. Fine, no problem, but we had to pay EXTRA to buy one! This is beyond ridiculous for a hotel so expensive.
Also the sings indicating this were translated wrong ("use the heater in the pool"????)
The view of the room was described as "inner courtyard". There was no inner courtyard. Only a bare massive wall with some dilipadated palm trees.
4.0
Beautiful hotel, clean and comfy, well organised and efficient, staff friendly and helpful
The room, especially the bathroom, is quite from the 60s. Breakfast is fair but not great for a 4 star hotel. Last thing: after a certain evening time you need to pass through a ZTL camera to reach the hotel. We weren't told that in advance, despite we told them the time of our arrival.
3.0
The pool area and the pool attendant (think his name was Manuel/Manuela), he was fantastic and super helpful/friendly. Pool area is a great size, rooms were very clean and shower was great.
Location is excellent
The hotel lacked atmosphere, no one in the bar area at any time, could have done with some music playing at meal times and out around the pool area.
The food was very very basic. Found it hard to get food pool side so gave up after a day or two and we left hotel for lunch and dinners.
Room was very basic and almost depressing, terrible view (room 211)
Hard to find staff who spoke a little English to help us out at times.
