La amabilidad del personal, la ubicación y la habitación
Los ascensores y pasillos les falta actualización, los pisos de los pasillos muy descuidados

If it were possible to give a rating of six (6) stars, I would. Everyone - from reception to dining - was gracious, the food - breakfast and dinner - was nothing short of excellent, and the decor was both pleasant and interesting. Loved the refreshing lap pool and sauna. Plenty of available work spaces for individuals and groups. And did I say anything about location, location, location? For us, for our four-night stay and what we wanted to do in our first visit to Madrid, this hotel had it all. - "Destination Dave"
Nothing.

There are things I liked but many things I expected better. The property is very nice and clean. The staff is nice but I had a very unfortunate experience of someone in house keeping taking my medication out of the in-room fridge (and leaving it in the closet containing the fridge which is very hot) it was crazy - i really didn’t understand why they would do this. The month-supply medicine was ruined and I had on my last night scramble to figure out what i do. I called guest services twice and nobody called me back - had to go to the front desk myself for them to address the problem. The solution by the hotel was to cancel all my plans for my last night and wait for a doctor to come - which is crazy as I had a group and a fully-paid program. I travel 2-3 times every month and I’ve never had this happen to me. I ended up taking care of it on my own. when i checked out - they wanted to do ‘something’ to make me feel better so they didn’t charge me for the 1 bottle of sparkling water I had taken out of the fridge during the stay. It made me think they didn’t understand the gravity of the situation. Super disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel truly welcome.
The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to all major attractions. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, you'll find everything you need within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, shops, and cultural sites.
The hotel has been decorated beautifully, a blend of modern luxury with historical charm including a gorgeous library. I can see it would be a great place to come with my company and for group events as well. Very comfortable bed too.
And finally the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh, fine ingredients and fruits in the buffet with the option of ordering eggs individually prepared with your own preference and even your own tortilla de patata.
I liked everything, the internal swimming pool was not ready yet but am looking forward to going back when it is finalised.

Location, close to metro and supermarket, small but clean room with good sized functional wardrobe, comfortable beds, and good breakfast
Small room as 4-star hotel, no coffee maker or wine glasses, some noise from corridor and door closing but not outside

Location and the facilities
We booked two rooms and the ones assigned were in opposite sides of the hotel.

Room was decent size. The hotel is located on a busy street but no noise issues. The buffet breakfast was $12 or $15 per person. There are so many restaurants close by with much better breakfast options.
Dated bathroom.

-The location was great. The hotel location was between museums and city center. We didn’t need to use any public transportation vehicle. We just walked every where.
-The breakfast was satisfying.
-The waiter and waitress in the breakfast room were very helpful.
-The building was old and there was a construction outside. It was noisy and it wasn’t that fancy to stay in a construction!
I think the property should mention about the construction going on.
-The photos on Booking.com does not really look like the hotel. The rooms were dark, they didn’t get sun light. Eventhough I booked a superior room, it was small and dark. I had to change my room.
-The hot water side of the faucet was not working. And also there was no hot water in the shower.
-The heater was not working in the room.
- The receptionist (all 3 of them) were not very helpful and friendly. They weren’t solution oriented.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I liked the design, the room size and the comfortable bed. The hotel is conveniently situated for the main museums.
We asked for a quiet room and when we got there, we could hear ongoing hammering. I went to reception to ask for a different room and I was told that they would stop at 6:00 pm and there wasn't going to be any work since it was a Saturday. Unfortunately, I believed what I was told. The next morning at 8:00 am we were awakened by a lot of noise. I called reception twice and they told me that the work was on the building next door and there was nothing they could do about it. I wished they would have been honest, I liked the hotel and I do go often to Madrid.

I like the location of the hotel. The metro station is 10 meters from the entrance. I was able to leave my car on the outskirts of Madrid and reach the hotel by metro easily. The breakfast was also okay. Our child liked the two-deck bed in the family room as well.
The room wasn't very clean. We had some cheese leftovers in the minibar, most likely from the previous guests. The bathroom was very dated, with stains on the tiles. Overall, I didn't feel as if I'm in a 4-star hotel.

The location was great. It was in the center of everything.
The place was under construction and they should mention that when booking.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Very clean.
Our room was tucked away in a corner and had a view of a brick wall. Breakfast had a good selection - we particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit - but the hot food was always cold (no covers/lids to keep food warm). We were told to use the microwave, but microwaving cold scrambled egg just turns it to rubber.
