NOTHING this was the worst stay EVER
Dirty carpet in room no ceiling lights room next to me banging on wood smell of weed being smoked done guy outside SCREAMING till 1.30am loo hard to flush no plugs next to bed all doors Slamed
3.4
The room was OK. Breakfast was good.
Kerb appeal. Had you shown the ground front view, I would not have booked here. likewise, if you had shown pictures of the reception, corridors and dining room/bar.
3.4
The room was spacious. The view from the room window was good.
There was no Air conditioning in the rooms. There was no telephones in the rooms to contact staffs. The shower facilities was old school. The bathing soap in the room was too small. There was so much noise entering into the room. The rooms were not sound proof. There was smell of cannabis entering into the rooms.
3.4
Good breakfast great location
Long wits for receiption staff
3.4
Large room, very comfortable bed
The hotel feels very tired and is in serious need of a major refurbishment. It's so obvious it was a previous office block and feels like it too. No cable connection from TV to Internet, presumably stolen. Shower head loose and had to be held in place while showering. Not all lights in the room worked
Hotel is in a very deprived area of the city and it felt a little threatening/unsafe walking round, even in the afternoon. Advised by receptionist I could park in their car park for £5 overnight, but she didn't recommend it at they had had a 'recent spate of incidents' - not very reassuring.

Very convenient location to walk into the centre or to the train station.
Nice comfortable bed, large room. Quiet hotel and location on a high floor.
Housekeeping - 2nd towel had stains on it. Bath had not been cleaned properly.
Hook was falling off the back of the bathroom door.
Sharp hairdryer holder on inside of the table in the room - needs to be removed.
Window seal damaged condensation completely skews the view out of the window.
3.4
The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms was top notch haven’t got any complaints!

El staff era muy amigable
Estuve solo 1 día, pero en la mañana al despertar e ir a abrir las cortinas me percato que la esquina de la ventana está llena de telarañas. A parte la habiatacion tenía una TV pero no control.
3.4
No frills, basic accomodation, clean and tidy, no frills but everything worked and there was a bath! Very comfortable firm bed and a good nights sleep. Exceptional value for £35
Nothing that would be an issue given the price.

Nothing, hotel is horrible, worn out and needs renovation asap! It doesn't look like in the photos at all. Carpets are dirty almost like blood stains, walls without paint, smells mouldy, lights white and looks like from "Shining", one of the elevators was barely working, door closed on the thirds try and smelled like weed. Shady people around hotel and inside. Room doors are with chain locks and somehow magically opened during the night, only chain lock stoped to fully open. Only good thing was bed and towels were clean and you can crack the window for the fresh air.

Great location, clean & staff polite & helpful!
Just a slight niggle was the bed, 2 singles pushed together, kept moving apart in the night but very comfortable mattress none the less!
3.4
I like it because it’s very close to ponds forge international and the city centre.
Nothing.

Unkept from the outside inside wasn’t much better area is sketchy
Book d for 3 people receptionist try to say I had only paid for 2 people and tried to get me to pay more money until I showed evidence of my booking
Rooms were clean enough
They stated free parking and there isn’t you have to use car park for £5 a day
Asylum seekers and DHSS staying there
No bar area open I feel for this reason
Breakfast was disgusting
3.4
Nothing rooms very basic,2 single mattresses put together without a topper to make a double bed very uncomfortable.
Shower curtain had black and other stains on it.probably never been taken down and washed.
Located in poor part of Sheffield. Noisy, Corridors smelt fusty,it’s a glorified hostel.
3.4
unfortunately we were sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned so had to go back to reception to get another room sorted, and we were put on the 6th floor with no working lift.
3.4
The staff were very friendly & very helpful, you couldnt fault them.
Asked if we wanted fruit as we missed breakfast.
Offered us tea when we arrived.
The parking outside the hotel, as they said cars had been broken into. So we used the ncp car park behind the hotel to find that was used by people taking drugs on the stirs we had to walk down to get out.
The bar didn't seem to be open at all and so as no one was using it, it felt like you were the only people actually staying there. The bar was n't open at all and so it felt like we were the only ones in the hotel as there was nowhere to go and be other than your room. Also there was make up on the bottom of the duvet that was tucked under so we didnt see it until the day after when we made the bed. didnt mention anything as we had to leave early anyway so it wasnt a problem anymore
3.4
Room was spacious and clean
Towel was dirty and I found a hair on towel
Thankfully their was a spare towel in room
3.4
We asked at reception and was given all the items we needed, toilet roll, additional towel, and handsoap.
The bed was huge and comfy.
The breakfast was good.
For the price of the room you really can't complain.
On arrival we were told 1 lift wasn't working and the other one was ' going very slowly ', so we used the stairs.
We went in our room and only had 1 towel for 2 people, 6'ish' squares of loo roll, and no handsoap.
3.4
Generally, tired and in need of some investment but good location for city centre. Also helpful staff.
Breakfast poor. Grey egg, not many beans in the sauce, rather poor quality.
Comfortable large room but no mattress cover or pillow covers. (Surely a basic requirement.)
We went down to have a drink, not open.
3.4
Great location. Can do with More choices of food for breakfast
Spacious room
3.4
Nothing particularly - just a basic bed for the night.
Very basic hotel with irritating habit of trying to force everything online. (2 or 3 texts asking me to checkin online before arriving and almost the same number asking me to review it afterwards - one before I'd even checked out!). Just trying too hard for what is basically a bed and a simple breakfast (it was served cold). Will not be returning.
3.4
Good location
Car parc close by
Day of departure friebdlt staff aldo frirbdly stagf at breakfast
An unfriebdly welcome
Bare rooms, although clean it looked run down
3.4
La cama y el silencio en las habitaciones.
Reservé 3 habitaciones y dos de ellas no tenían regulador de temperatura en la ducha.
El olor en los pasillos a "cigarro" era insoportable
3.4
Everything was fine but the room was cold when I arrived and took a few hours to warm up
Would have nice to have a comfy sofa to sit on instead of the bed
3.4
Great location, great value
The pillows weren’t the comfiest, basic bathroom and basic breakfast however can’t grumble for the price we paid
3.4
Location
No bar/restaurant facilities
Shower not working properly, toilet bin not emptied between guests
3.4
Central to Sheffield.
There was a massive mould patch outside our door, which wasn’t exactly welcoming. Plus the corridor to the room smelled musty and stuffy. See attached photo. We were room 615, if memory serves. Definitely on the sixth floor at the end of corridor, on the left hand side.
3.4
The free breafast was a really nice feature, however I would recommend getting there earlier than later as the food goes quick on the weekend. The staff was really friendly and hard working especially at Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast. The elevators are fast as well.
Slightly dated. Some scuffed furniture and paint
3.4
Closeness to city centre
Car parking difficult to find, room very cold when entering, dangerous socket hanging off the towel rail and earth lead disconnected, tiles falling off bath side, dirty grout in shower, handbasin bowl drian quite blocked up, electric heater "ticking" all night, noisy room doors that slam, keeping us awake
3.4
Location is okay. Staff were pleasant.
Very limited choice of items for breakfast, e.g. no sausage and only eggs were shelled hard boiled ones. I asked for some gluten free toast and was just told no we do not have any. We did not go to breakfast on our second morning.
Hotel is tired.
3.4
Nothing it was very grim
It was very grim, it had a stale stench..depressing interior, bathroom was disgusting, smelt of urine.
Very unhygienic and very dirty hotel.
3.4
Friendly and efficient staff on arrival. Good location, close to city centre. Beds reasonably comfortable.
Dirty carpets and bags of rubbish on corridors not cleared, old curtains, stains on bed throw, broken tv remote, tiling and shower curtain very dirty, limited tea and coffee facilities ( one teabag for party of three). Felt unhygienic so decided to leave and not have the inclusive breakfast.
3.4
Security
no glasses in room.
3.4
Staff were all very helpful. Rooms are large. Price well below rest of Sheffield hotels. Parking on site for £5, must be the cheapest in town. Good breakfast included in price. Very quiet. Very clean. Excellent security by a key card that actually works.
This hotel has seen better days. The current owners have been there for 4 years and have not invested. There is no restaurant, bar or even food outlet nearby. No drinking water. There is a machine in the lobby, but it is not in use. The hotel does not tell you about this. One of the two lifts out of order. Car park is small but there is another close by. Only one chair in room, needs an arm chair.
3.4
The reasonably sized room and beautiful views from the window.
The receptionist was accommodating as well. He gave me a room upgrade after the first room was not ready.
Initially, I was given a room that was used and clearly has not been cleaned yet. Towels are on the floor. It was a mess.
3.4
Excellent location, Very good staff young lady called Fatima.Good hotel food good.
No Aircon , you can't open the windows far enough to get any air in .
3.4
The hotel was very cheap and reasonably located for what we needed.. Our room was fine but bathroom definitely ready for a makeover.. All the silicone round bath was mouldy with stained grout between tiles but clean.
The hotel looks very rough outside and was shabby in the lobby but as I say it was cheap.. I forgot to take a photo but one of the sockets was broken in half and very dangerous 👍
