Bathroom had some mold. It could do with some resealant

Beautiful decor, beautiful setting and looks lovely as a building itself. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable.

Room very Nice- plumbing a little noisy but otherwise fine.
Noisy Plumbing in the bathroom. No too much of an issue though

Beautiful stay away for work

The staff were very friendly and helpful
No iron in our room but one was brought to us

The location was quiet. And the outside of the building looked nice.
I called ahead to secure the suite we wanted. On arrival we were taken to the wrong suite that I had been told on the phone was too close to renovations and would disturb us in the morning. We had to ask to be moved. Lots of moving around.
The room was very cold. We had to ask for a heater to be brought which didn’t warm up the room for a long time. There were no bathroom toiletries to speak of considering it was the bridal suite. There were no extra or personal touches, it felt very budget and basic. Not at all good value for money. I expected better service from staying in the most premium room, I had better service at a bnb.
The apple juice was off. I drank some and noticed it was fizzy and brought it to the attention of the waiting staff who told me it was the brand. I explained that it was old juice sat there for some time. It was finally replaced with fresh juice and an apology.
Breakfast felt rather lack lustre and neglected like the hotel.

the room was cold and the bed was small

The staff were very nice! Especially a lady named Amy that sorted problems out for us very quickly. The bed was very comfortable and slept well. Nice to have an on site bar pretty much open all night to residents. The location was very convenient for us and the building is lovely.
We ordered a deluxe double room, only to be given a room in their cottage section (a separate building not advertised) which was shocking, looked like a old persons holiday home or something, it was awful and the only thing deluxe was the amount of space, definitely not worth the £90 we paid for the night. I did ask to move which they then moved us very quickly and they were very nice too! The second room was more like what we expected however there was no mini fridge. The iron wasn’t working well and kept leaking/leaking out limescale onto the clothes.

Very quick stopover. Comfortable bed and an excellent shower.
Nothing.

Reception staff member was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and nice as well.

Very nice but needs some work.
A dodgy stain on the chair in my bedroom.
3.9
Simple fast book in
There was no room light only bedside lights which made using the mirror and the tea making facilities difficult.

The setting was lovely and peaceful. The young lady on reception with brown hair was lovely and helpful.
We stayed in the cottage which isn't in the main hotel. Room was a bit dated and the bed was a tiny double. In fact I nearly fell out of it during the night.

Beautiful and comfy stay!

the property was gorgeous, really stunning.
I have an allergy to mangos and unfortunately I couldn’t use any of the hand soap or lotion that were provided. lots of spiders in room and near mirror.

Quiet setting, room and outlook on parkland, spacious car park, overall ambience and friendliness of staff.
No negatives.

Beautiful location and clean room.
Breakfast and diner was a bit poor and took long

Staff are really friendly, hotel is pretty.
Real loud noise in the middle of the night, had to move rooms. Told this was temporary.
Staff did handle this well.

We had the (cottage),4 rooms apart from the main building so it was very quiet and felt newly refurbished with an outstanding large bathroom which was a lot warmer than the bedroom.
The bedroom was a bit cool with only a portable oil filled radiator if it got really cold. In winter one would hope for the main radiator to work. There was no double glazing. Overall it suited us on the warmish night we were there but on a cold night it might have become very cold. Of course we could retire to the lovely warm bathroom but that had no bed in it!

Great location for Bedford autodrome. Good parking
More light needed in room

Friendly reception staff. Nice location. Breakfast satisfactory. Quiet room at back of hotel facing garden. Comfortable mattress.
Long wait to check in as receptionist was involved in moving someone into another room. The room was very tired. (27) Furniture was tatty and stained. Bath needed cleaning. Only 2 towels, one stained. Had to request more towels. Previously booked same room in 2018 - at that time bathrobes, slippers, complimentary toiletries were included - not this time. Standard a lot lower and charging higher prices! Being at the back of the hotel the TV signal was poor and was impossible to watch. Similarly the internet signal was poor making work difficult. In the bar the glasses were dirty - had to request fresh clean glass. The lighting in the room was dim. Old dressing table/desk with office lamp hopeless for using mirror. In the bathroom, again, lighting very poor. The quality of bedding was cheap - lumpy pillows and very light duvet - no additional blankets/covers in the room. On checking out my bill was incorrect - charging me for dinner I didn't have.

It's a fine place for a few nights, but out of the way but the staff were good (needed more staff) On one night I was kept awake till 1am by the infernal musak in the reception, but they had fixed this by the next stay, Food was above average as was the wine. They gave me reduction for the Musak at night, thanks. Parking good.
Musak in reception, Bar looks a bit like it was being decorated on one occassion. for me a nice addition would be an EV charge point nd a bigger menu. One one visit there was no fish and chips left at 8.30, but the food was, as stated above average, so the alternative was good,
