Beautiful, historic property; on the edge of the market square; met with a warm welcome, good room and lovely breakfast, I have to say it was a peaceful and relaxing experience; with a lovely homely feel to it!
I wished my trip could have meant me staying longer!

Excellent central and quiet location. The food and service was extremely good. Our hosts Richard and Siobhan, were very helpful and welcoming, even offering to clear the snow off our car!
We shall definitely stay there again next time we visit Atherstone.

Chapel house was a pleasant stay with a lovely breakfast. we were greeted by the owners who were lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was dated but in keeping with the property’s decor. Breakfast was great value for money. We enjoyed cooked breakfasts all to our liking and the hosts were very kind in making sure that we were well fed and watered.
It was very cold. We do appreciate that times are hard and people do not want to put their heating on. The hosts provided electric heaters around the property but when we returned form our outing to sleep the room was so cold. Once the heater was on it was more pleasant. It was the same for breakfast.

Location good, breakfast excellent, great updated bathroom, owners very friendly and attentive
Room was small and decor dated. Needs updating to match what I assume was an updated bathroom.

Nicely tucked away but still retains it's character. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

A very friendly welcome by the lovely hosts who were happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was very clean & spacious and we had the best nights sleep on the big comfortable bed.
We particularly loved that the bathroom had environmentally friendly products.
We had a wonderful view of the gardens over breakfast.
A must stay if you are in the area. Highly recommended

At the heart of Atherstone, just set back from the High Street in a cul-de-sac off a square, next to a very old Abbey. A very peaceful and calm hotel, which is not surprising as Florence Nightingale once stayed there!
Parking of free on the street, so handy for moving suitcases.
The décor is excellent quality Victorian/Edwardian, with many interesting and surprising pieces which the host will gladly explain.
The hotel is more of a Restaurant with rooms, as it has a talented and versatile chef ! Weekly menu changes and high quality ingredients beautifully presented. The local Grendon lamb was the best my wife tasted for many years. The feel of restaurant is a 5 star classic, restful with top friendly service.
The room with ensuite shower was good for a 1 night stay. A pity the ensuite does not have an extractor fan nor a window.

The owners of this property have kept a lot of the original features whilst not sacrificing comfort. Our room was of adequate size and beautifully decorated. The housekeeping was excellent.
Parking - although the description said free parking it is on street parking. I guess the location would mean that this is not normally an issue, however, a very busy times of the year parking near the property may not be possible.
4.3
The staff were polite & very courteous. Our room has recently been refurbished to a high standard & comfortable with all the amenities required, tea/coffee, hairdryer etc.
The breakfast was beautifully presented & tasty.
The property is off the market square with plenty of parking.

Central location in Atherstone, Parking outside the property in marked spaces. The gardens were lovely and the house was very pretty. Richard and Siobahn were exceptional hosts. We felt very welcome.
The hotel looks exactly as the pictures - there was nothing we didn't like. We had a fabulous nights sleep. But if you are a light sleeper the church clock does chime on the hour and half hour.
