Nice spacious room with all the amenities of a small flat which you don’t usually get when booking a room with an hotel
Parking was a bit of a nightmare on a couple of days but I put that down to a large group of road workers staying there and them parking there multiple vans in the carpark

Breakfast was very good. The service was very good
Nothing coulded fine a falt with any thing.
3.8
Friendly and obliging staff.
Room clean and comfortable but because it overlooks a busy street was a bit noisy.
Excellent food especially the breakfast which was particularly good value.
Very minor quibble was the paucity of toiletries provided which appears to be a common feature nowadays. Prefer a dedicated shower rather than shower over the bath which ends up being neither a good option.
3.8
Basic room but clean.
Staff

Great central location, all amenities & helpful staff
Only feedback would be need of a bin in the bathroom
3.8
Nice hotel very welcoming.Lovely staff ,good food with a good choice
.Nice little town and close to motorway.
Our room was in the annex and in the eaves so only a roof window with no view. Also a bit small and cold, even with heater on .

Breakfast wasn't hot when I came to the Breakfast room
When I arrived at your hotel, You already sent me message telling me that you changed to ground Floor for a Walk-in Shower within bedroom 🧳🛏🚿🥓🍳🥫☕️🍽

easy comfortable clean and nice staff
think workers stay there andwant total quiet at 10 so couples should ask for outside rooms not backing onto there’s .

Always a good stay. We pre ordered food this time as was celebrating a birthday. Food was lovely, we felt very looked after
Few hick ups. Key didn't work to room..pre paid breakfast but it got allocated to wrong room...but these things can happen and they handled it professionally and we got
them sorted

Great place to stay with dogs.
Parking was tight.

Being constantly concerned about security of motorcycle parking, I was, without any request from me, upgraded to a superior room in order that I was able to observe my bike in the car park. Service over and above the call of duty ... and with a smile.
Great breakfast
Staff mostly very pleasant and helpful.
Not a huge car park. I initially had a job squeezing a motorcycle in but overnight there was plenty of space.
Close to mainline railway station and large supermarkets.
I would happily stay there again.
Checkout time seemed very early and for me, inconvenient at 10am, and check in time even more so at 4pm.
Nothing else not to like!

Lots and lots to like would come back 3rd stay at this hotel soon this year or next
Bath tap did not work
3.8
The staff were all very polite.
Couldn't do enough to accommodate us.
The main hotel looks lovely as you enter.
Clean and tidy.
Everything supplied for your stay.
Comfy beds.
Separate building to hotel like it's been forgotten about.
Lots of stairs.
No lifts or fire exits.
Temperatures of above 30 degrees in room No air conditioning or fans.
Very small window broken propped open with three toilet rolls.
Toilet very dated. Noisy and smelly. Worse because of heat in the room.
The main high street turns into an outdoor night club.
The noise from the Mail High Street ranges from delivery's to shops to
Fighting outside pubs and Cash Point to the police coming and going.
You can drive through the high street day and night.
Can't walk safely around High Street because of vehicles.
It was very expensive concerning the position it was in.

Evening meal and breakfast was very good , selection of bar drinks very , although on a high street it’s fairly quiet, maids and staff were helpful
My toilet was blocked , we were in like a separated building , not sure if the staff used the rooms but both mornings woken very early by people walking up and down the corridor and the doors closing ,

Room was lovely, staff were great

The bed was great
Great location
Staff was really friendly and so helpfull
Bathroom far to small if you sat on the toilet you could not shut the door
3.8
room was good
hotel was ok, they had wedding reception on so some parts was out off bounds

The hotel is convenient being in town and is cheap at the weekends so it worked well for me as I was working there. There is ample parking and the rooms are ok. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
The trouble with this place is that the walls are way too thin, I had noisy people either side of me and below me, I think they are housing people there who are disrespectful for other people peace. As a result I had a very poor nights sleep so comfort wise I cant score other than poor. Because of this I will probably not stay here again.

clean, tidy well maintained.

Have stayed a few times at the Red Lion whilst visiting family. It's the best in the area and really want it to succeed. The bar space, service and parking is good.
There are several things the Red Lion can do to up it's game. This time our room, 320, in the annex was terrible (shower broken, TV pixelating, heavy use of chemicals - we nearly left). the staff don't ask for feedback but it may benefit from doing so.

Good: 24/7 hotel check in, private car park, city centre location, bar open till 11pm and guests can stay after closing time, very nice bar with two open fire places, pleasant staff, iron and water cattle.
This is an old/classical English hotel with classical architecture and some rooms were out dated but it was part of the hotel's charm
3.8
The ambience of a former old coaching inn
3.8
Staff were fabulous, friendly and welcoming.
No request too much trouble.
Room was clean and heater worked well.
Bathroom was clean with a great mirror.
.
Would 100% stay again.
Atherstone is utterly charming, so location is really great.
Only gripe was pillows were flat and uncomfortable for me, personal preference.
A few noisy people outside late on in evening but in a main village so not surprising
3.8
This was a visit for my parents who were looking for one night. they enjoyed their visit and were very pleased with the accommodation.
3.8
Only thing was TV remote didn't work for stations ,volume on or off.
As it was late couldn't find staff to question it apart from that lovely stay .
3.8
The staff were very helpful and friendly
The bedrooms were in another building 2 doors down, not good when it's raining and the building itself was old and creaky but clean
The mattresses had springs sticking out and were very uncomfortable (we did get a £15 refund for this)
Having said all of this it was only £55 per night and in a great location for what we needed
I would not stay again though
