The location is central and really accessible to everything around. It also had a comfy eclectic vibe unlike any other place we’ve stayed. Good surrounding views and comfy bedding.

AMAZING hotel!! I booked last-minute for three nights and I am SO glad I did. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. First, the location is beautiful, right down the street from the Queenstown gondolas and only a block or so away from the main street. Beautiful views of the mountains from the front porch and back patio of the hotel. Second, the decor and aesthetics of the hotel are so warm, eclectic, and well thought-out. I loved the wallpaper and carpeting and all the sweet farm-themed decorations paired with big florals and prints. Third, the staff & service were WONDERFUL. Kind, helpful staff who went out of their way to make it a great experience for me, down to the little touches of taking my bags from pre-checkin storage right to my room and including little bath soaking salts for the lovely bathtub. Fourth, the food-related amenities of breakfast, happy hour with NZ wines, the 24 hour access to yummy candies, and fresh water and milk in the room mini fridge. So much fun and delicious ways to start and end my days in Queenstown. Also, adorable teacups (to go with the mini espresso machine / kettle) and nice wine glasses in the room for when I brought back my delicious NZ wine. Fifth, as a solo traveler I felt very safe (even though there is not a 24 he staffed front desk) given that both the back and front doors to the hotel have keypad access. Sixth, the very private outdoor jacuzzi with mountain views. I had such a lovely and private experience for an hour or so in the evening, and it was easy to operate; felt like my very own spa. I seriously cannot say enough about how much I loved this hotel!! Thank you DPH!!
A few things i didn’t love but that absolutely did not take away from the experience overall. First, the room key, while aesthetically pleasing, was a bit cumbersome. It was a physical key attached to a metal credit card-sized keychain that’s pretty heavy and hard to stick in the pocket of (at least women’s) clothing. Not a huge deal though. Second, my room was street level next to a sidewalk so I kept my blinds closed pretty much all the time for privacy. Unideal, but not a super busy street and I was mostly only there in the evenings so missing out on the morning light wasn’t all that bad. I think this is the only room that has that issue based on the shape of the hotel, so I’m sure the other rooms are absolutely wonderful! Third, it’s a a bit expensive, but for the absolute treat of an experience that I got, it was absolutely worth it for me.

It felt like home. It was cosy from the first moment we went in.
Someone was in the hot tub at 4am making a lot of noise.
What is it in NZ with the highly-tensioned hotel-room door-closing mechanisms?

Great hotel, cosy, really good location close to town but in a quiet road. Really nice having a happy hour each day and loved the hot tub which you could reserve.

The décor is fun, eclectic, and cozy. The location is hilly but close to the aerial gondola and to the waterfront area.
The city is doing massive road construction nearby and a new tram is going up so there was lots of construction. The construction workers were very nice and friendly.

The location is great, easy walking distance to town centre and lakeside shops/restaurants. The rooms are light, airy and clean. There was a nice shared lounge area.
Whilst very nice, the rooms are quite small. The room did seem quite expensive, but from what we could see - everything in Queenstown is expensive.

Happy hour (kiwi snacks and drinks in the main lounge) and the location is unbeatable. It's a simple boutique hotel and the rooms are snug but it's such a delightful place to stay and the staff were lovely.
I liked everything! Would stay again.

great decor, lovely looking hotel, friendly staff.
roadworks went on throughout the night keeping us awake all night. at $400 a night I would have preferred to stay somewhere else. not the hotels fault that the roadworks are happening but rooms should be heavily discounted during this period or guests made aware in advance of booking.

The staff are fantastic (shout out to Sacha) and the hotel has a comfortable, homely yet luxurious feel. The location is nothing short of ideal - close enough to all the action (half way between the water front and Skyline Gondola), yet still quiet and relaxing. My wife and I spent the flight home looking at availability and options for our return!
everything was great - although I was a little concerned for whomever might have a room below as the bathroom floor is very creaky! (but it added to the atmosphere)

quirky clean tidy . I esp liked the staff, they were so helpful throughout including during the post booking phase.

Location is most convenient. Hotel is tastefully appointed.
It's quite expensive, but then Queenstown is quite expensive.
