Exceptional

Great stay, our yoga group enjoyed it very much! We had a big space for yoga practice inside the hotel at our disposal. Loved the sea view from the pool bar. We recommend L'Approdo!

Clean room, great staff and a spectacular view of the Mediterranean.

The staff was professional and always ready to help.

Breakfast started at 8am. It would've been nice if Breakfast started at 7am. But it wasn't that big a deal at 8am. The gym was locked in the morning.

The staff, the view, the pool and the location

The breakfast was poor, try to offer a selection of eggs, cheese and vegetables. The showr size was too small.

Would have been reasonably good hotel if bedrooms were up to any standard.

The staff were really nice in de café and only Chirio in reception who was very nice. The pool area was beautiful too - recently renovated.

The bedrooms were horrendous... tiny and stuffy, creaky doors, tiny balcony, tiny bathroom. Beds were not comfortable and pillows were not fit to be used - should have been in the waste/bins years before. Nothing in the small fridge - not even tap water. No tea r coffee. One electric socket.

Good

The location is perfect for getting the ferry to and from Cassamicciola port, and there are also boats for sale for day trips on the harbour by the ferry stop. Within the town are several nice restaurants and the staff gave some great suggestions! The breakfast bar has fantastic veiws to enjoy!

The bed was slightly hard for my tastes, but that is only my opinion.

Views from the pool were outstanding.. Pool was lovely Staff were great especially Davide at the pool bar, great service.. Staff really nice Breakfast was nice however, for me as gluten free was a little challenging could eat the eggs and ham so not a huge deal . So many pastries.

Beds were like sleeping on rock, if you value a comfortable bed this isn't the hotel for you...

Pool i excellent. Brekfast OK, though mainly cakes/sweets Nice balcony with sea view.

Damp, musty smell in the elevator and the long corridor from the elevator. Beds are very hard. Not possible to get extra soft mattress on top of the bed. Cooling system did not have capacity enough. Not good to wake up in 30+ and 90% reletive humidty. Excellent cooling in the corridor to the rooms. Hotel staff tried to help but the system had simply not enough capacity.

Ischia is a gorgeous island and we spent most of the time out and about so the hotel was fine.

Pool terrace has an amazing view over the seafront and Casamicciola; Breakfast sitting there was very pleasant; The hotel is up on a cliff but has a lift which takes you straight down to the riviera and therefore very convenient. The centre of Casamicciola is a 10 minutes walk from there.

We paid for a luxury room with see view but it was very disappointing as it was extremely small, basic in the decor and it was not possible to leave the window open to enjoy the view as it felt exposed to the view of people on the terrace. There was a heavy door to block the window and we ended up with artificial light on and no view most of the time. I asked to change room to anything else but my request was simply ignored, nobody apologised or tried to please me somehow.

Staff was undermanned and service was compromised. The bunk beds and furniture where outdated. Breakfast was poor, I went out in town to eat

Nothing was dirty full of fly Moschino and ants on floor all over they charge me twice because they said that they didn’t received my payment which was not true and when I try to call them for let them know they call they hung up on me

Feeling of paradise!

Staff was very kind and caring. Facilities were very clean at all times and following covid safety measures. Swimming pool and breakfast area have great views! It feels like paradise. It seemed all rooms had a balcony which is a plus on a seaside location. Very nearby stunning beaches and elevator that brings you directly to the Main Street.

Beds could be slightly more comfortable, but that’s a very personal feeling.
