Food was very good. Rooms were very comfortable the bathrooms were excellent with bath as well as a shower. I’d say a little noisy but the earplugs in the bedside cabinet were a nice thought. Car park a little tight but we managed. Most importantly the staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble however busy they were. We will definitely stay again x

The breakfast was superb. Dinner was great.
Parking was a litle tricky as there was also a food festival in town.

it’s history and context.I liked the fact that staff defaulted to the Welsh language and that suited us. Excellent approach towards visitors many of whom were Welsh and clearly more comfortable speaking in Welsh.
the bath sinks were a little low but that’s a minor point.
Breakfast could have included a continental alternative. The food was very good indeed

Pillows not good .. but we like feather so understand if you can’t do it for allergy reasons etc.. food not as good for us this time .. maybe as it was because we were in the bar and a bit later but got to say disappointed.

I have stayed here several times before. I was lucky enough to get the beautiful room with the four poster bed, ideally situated in the heart of the Inn. The breakfasts are, as always, delicious, as is the food in the evening. The staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful, and overall, my stay was a delight.

Great location! The whole Inn had such a historical feel about it and for good reason and as a tourist it hit every button. And the bed was HUGE!!!
The room was just too warm. I think it's just me being a hot blooded aussie, but even staying January we had to sleep with the window open just to stop ourselves from over heating.

Fantastic setting and setting, with a wonderful welcoming feel and look about, retaining the period look but with all modern facilities.
Nothing to dislike.

sitting and waiting over two hours for our very expensive meals , and when they did arrive they where not very good, well over cooked to me per warmed meat and mostly burnt. they even got the order wrong, we wasn't happy, and they did nothing about it, sent it back total waste of money and spoiled our whole visit, didn't eat there after that. apart from breakfast and that was no better burnt Omelette how does any burn omelettes. ToTal joke lives on it past needs to live up yo date and Standards. That they used to have..

Staff very helpful and polite
Difficult to book a table in the Restaurant with wait service
