A gem. Tasting menu easily up with Michelin star standards. Carl the sommelier likewise

The property was great and had the old world charm with all the modern amenities one would need. The service was excellent and kids had a good time. One aspect we would have liked is the hotel to have a few more dining options.
4.6
Welcoming and well trained staff. Attention to detail. Secluded and picturesque location. Wonderful gardens and grounds with a strong ecological ethos.
Nothing!

The whole visit was exceptional, from the staff on arrival, the food, the bar staff, the afternoon tea was superb. I really couldn’t fault a thing. My sister & I were made to feel so welcome. Would love to return….soon.

Beautiful grounds.Room very comfortable, clean & quiet
Service in dining room a little slow. English breakfast is not what we are use to but we knew that beforehand.
4.6
The property itself is incredibly picturesque and has amazing views. The interior is very cozy as well. Also the location is perfect for walking through both Upper and Lower Slaughters. But the staff is what makes Lords of the Manor truly memorable. They are extremely warm and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. They truly made our stay and we look forward to returning.

Great staff. Nice facilities. Superb location for wining down and having the “slender walk and talk” in the Slaoughters and Bourton-on-the-Water. Only regret was the short 2-day stay.

Wonderful location in a beautiful part of the world. The facilities at Lords of the Manor are first rate. The tasting menu in the Atrium was exceptional with service to match.
The mattress on the bed in our room was firmer than we would have liked.

Just absolutely right in every way possible!! You pay for a level of service and get nothing but that exceptional level.

We really like this place. Lovely hotel, warm, friendly, helpful staff, comfy beds, amazing food :). Absolutely must do the dinner in the restaurant.
Such a minor gripe, the room was quite warm and we couldn't turn it down. But honestly, that is me wracking my brains for something to moan about :)

The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal. The location was superb with beautiful walks from the doorstep. We were within easy striking distance of lots of lovely Cotswold's attractions. A beautiful hotel and very comfortable, we would definitely return as we found our stay very relaxing
We took our dog, she is well behaved and sleeps in the car but a member of staff insisted she should sleep in the bedroom. Eventually after an unseemly debate in the foyer we convinced the staff member that our dog would sleep quietly and bother no one. This proved to be the case and she thoroughly enjoyed the walk recommended by Richard on reception, a fellow dog owner. We can only presume they have had incidents of very badly behaved dogs previously but our dog doesn't like sleeping in strange places and prefers the comfort of her own space

The welcome was lovely, with all the staff making the hotel feel like a home from home.
The property and grounds are immaculate and the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds.

Peaceful quintessential Cotswolds.
It was terrible to have to leave.

The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them.
The chef is outstanding and we had a wonderful meal.

Great location. Clean. Nice grounds. Comfy bed
Seemed understaffed at meal times and things often forgotten - bread, toast, drink requests etc
4.6
We liked almost everything about this hotel. The level of service provided by the staff was outstanding. The location in a small, quiet, non-market town is ideal. The building, decor, and grounds are all spectacularly beautiful.
The breakfast could have been better. For example, the bread and pastries offered with the continental breakfast should have been much better.

this property is beautiful and the staff were incredible
4.6
The food in the restaurant was limited choice and the wine was expensive.

The whole weekend was an absolute delight. We could not fault a single thing. From the moment we arrived until we checked out the staff were excellent and catered for our every need. The room and dining were excellent.
