Fabulous views - amazing staff and managers

Amazing service from the staff (Rena&Rena) and the managers Tahir and Esraa for sorting out a booking site issue with no problems My deepest thanks :-) It was no problem leaving at 4M for an early drive to Abu Simbel - the 10 minute ferry runs all night and a continental breakfast from 3am with a foil takeout box upon asking. The 360 panorama is absolutely spectacular and a great choice over the Cataract Hotel - thankyou for the room upgrade to a wonderful garden suite - it was greatly appreciated 😊

Luxury hotel and location. Great for an indulgence

Had a great view - Nile view south both sides of the Island. Room very comfortable. Hotel is in a sensational location - hotel ferry to mainland was always there when we wanted it. Ate mostly in the bar with the view North and over the east bank of the Nile. Though we did have 1 dinner from 12th floor of the tower block - sensational views. Food same price as rest of hotel which was a surprise.

The best customer service in Egypt !

The best customer service I experienced in a long time. The staff is just superb, they contacted me via whatsaap weeks prior to plan my arrival and gave me all the information I needed for a smoth visit. They have a boat and dock station to take you to the island, so no need to worry about the logistics of arriving. The moment I walked in the hotel, they welcomed me by name! The lobby is really nice Shahd and Esraa from Guest relations made me feel extra special planning a birthday cake upon check in and even singing happy birthday to my mom and me. They had musicians playing songs in the evening and welcome drinks at the lobby. The room is clean and has all the essentials. Moamen from housekeeping found my wallet (I left it in the room) and reported it. They contacted me via whatsapp and made sure I got it back. (I was already in another town!) All the staff I encountered was just very friendly and helpful. They all deserve a 10! Thank you for making us feel welcomed!

Better coffee for breakfast would be nice and fresh made local bread. The pool open until the evening will also be extra convenient

Amazing stay

The hotel is cozy and comfortable, its location is unique in an island in the middle of River Nile with amazing views of mixed Nile, greenery and sand dunes What is most amazing is the staff who are all friendly and welcoming at all moments especially Ms. Madonna (reception representative), Ms. Esaraa & Ms. Tayseer(guest relations), Ms. Mervat (Restaurant Manager) and amazing Mr. ElAmir Mohamed in the restaurant.

Parenthèse enchanté sur l’île éléphantine ! L’hôtel movenpick resort à combler toute nos attentes les équipement la propreté ainsi que le personnel au petit soin cela a été vraiment parfait :) Piscine chauffé magnifique et très bien entretenu avec un bar à coter pour pouvoir siroter apéritif et grignoter un snack les pieds dans l’eau Les prix des extras sont vraiment abordable ( apéritif , restaurant et snacks ) J’ai profiter de notre séjour dans ce magnifique établissement pour demander la main de ma futur femme , Merci encore à Taysser sans qui cette demande n’aurais pas eu le même effet 🤩🤩 Bref je recommande à 100% cet hôtel allez y les yeux fermer vous ne serez pas déçu

Upgraded for our honeymoon, great stay

The staff was super attentive, and the location was beautiful albeit a bit of a hassle getting out of the hotel (whereas out of the island or just wandering in the south part of the island as well required a ride on a boat). The grounds of the hotel were really nice. We got a free upgrade for our honeymoon and cake.

Comfortable place to stay, island location makes it a retreat from the tourist pressures

Breakfast, location

Aggressive male staff requesting tips all the time. There is a 12.5% service charge on everything and then your expected to tip all the staff.. Also didn't like musician's coming to the table and expecting tips. Does Movenpick pay for the entertainment or are guests expected to pay? Not what you expect in a 5 star hotel. I felt the housing of the turtles was cruel.. concrete pond and nothing else for them.

Exceptional and a unique experience, a hotel island.

Tyssir was an amazing staff member, she helped us so much for many things, like finding a good hospital, and suggesting things to do.

Great stay in Mövenpick

We had a great room looking out over the swimming pool and Nile river. Staff was very attentive and helpful. In this hotel you are not a number, the staff know their guests by name. Ms. Esraa from guest relations organized a wonderfull romantic dinner for us in one of their specious suites looking out at the sunset and tombes of the nobles. A big thank you to all staff in this lovely and quiet hotel.

Socialising was a bit of a challenge as the hotel did not have a lot of occupancy but that must have been because its low season. This is the hottest time of the year with temperatures nearing 50 degrees celcius.

Unique location on an island in the Nile

The location is really beautiful. The short boat ride to the hotel makes this a truly exceptional experience, disconnected from the city, in the water.

Almost nothing. The security check at the entrance is probably necessary, however, the only dissonant that I experienced

Best view with a warm hospitality

I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the ferry (Hotel in Elephantine lsland ) and was impressed by the hotel's stunning decor. My room was spacious and beautifully designed with a balcony that provided a breathtaking view of the Nile River. The amenities were top-notch and everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the comfortable bed which provided me with a great night's sleep. I would like to extend a special thank you to the manager Wael Farouk. He went out of his way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and stress-free. I was particularly impressed by his attention to detail and his willingness to accommodate my every need. His efforts did not go unnoticed and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in a beautiful location. If you're looking for a hotel with exceptional service stunning views and luxurious amenities do not hesitate to book your stay at this hotel. I can guarantee that you will not be

Best hotel of our 10-day stay in Egypt

A lovely hotel in an ideal location on an island, easily reach by the hotel's regular ferry service 24/7. Excellent room facing the tombs (lit up at night). Enjoyed the pool greatly. Coffee shop fine, Mezze restaurant not entirerly to our taste, but Elephantine Restaurant offers a really delicious dinner buffet. Breakfasts excellent too.

Lounge restaurant was perfectly okay, but I'd have liked a wider selection of western food, and a fan in the exterior area.

Great place to stay after the hussle of the city.

Great place to relax after visiting the sights of Aswan. Friendly and considerate staff. Nice food. Lovely and clean pool. Fast internet. It’s really a nice hotel to stay!

stay was very pleasant and location of the hotel is simply fantastic, shame kids got I’ll and we were not able to enjoy

location and atmosphere are fantastic

my 3 kids got really sick after eating at the hotel restaurant (we haven’t eaten outside the hotel at all), most likely after drinking fruit juices (mango and lemon) as it is what we adults didn’t drink and we’re fine :(
