Sunset pool views nice.
Staff always said hello
Hotel room views (pacific)
Transport to island
Island too big
Very hilly not great for the oldies
Anything facing Efate island is not pleasant to view
Shipping works were constant and loud
Pool bar area was terrible. Pizza arrived in a box 1 hour 20 minute late (after asking bar three times how long and they continued to forget to make).
Shouldn’t be charging the prices they are.
Resort is dated and Port Vila city across the water is not pleasant therefore not ideal location.
Room 120 despite good views the room itself was basic with very average furniture. Bathroom old and dated. Definitely not 4 stars.

It was beautiful- the location was amazing, the gardens and pools were beautiful and the staff were lovely. Free breakfast overlooking the water was a great way to start each day. We had dinner on the mainland most nights and the free boat there and back was fantastic - only 5 mins and runs all day and night. The fare (rooms) were elegant and beautiful with great lighting and lovely balconies.

Great little spot to go for a couple of nights. Staff were lovely. Highlights were snorkeling in snorkelers cove and the canoe safari.
It’s looking a bit tired- but I believe there are some new owners looking to do some improvements. Needs another dining option .

The views from the room. The gardens. Restaurant was good. Transfers on the ferry between the island and Port Villa were efficient and regular and made it easy to explore the other restaurants in town
Could do with a bit more maintenance, just small issues around room which should have been attended to

Our room didn't have hair dryer
Tv didn't work wifi didn't work. Our final bill had charges that weren't ours.
But it still enjoyed our stay immensely.
We paid 2650Aud for 9 nights way over priced.
I'd go again. But wouldn't pay that.

Lovely pools. Friendly staff. Large and comfortable apartment. Extremely pleasant pls e to stay. Easy ferry to Port Vila. Great location. Good breakfast.
All minor; lots of work going on - improvements/maintenance. Apartment we were in didn’t have laundry, some we understand still do but phasing out? Trip/tour options through resort are ok - use for convenience otherwise go external for better value and quality.

Stunning views and ideal location. The property also had air conditioning in the rooms
We had two days during our 4 days at the property with no water, which meant no showers and we were unable to use the toilet in our room. We spoke with reception who said they would offer no compensation and said he’s sure we would have enjoyed other things about the property. Our room was ready 1.5 hours late and again no apologies were offered.

Location was great and the staff were incredibly kind. Snorkelers cove was good fun.
We had to move rooms multiple times due to issues ranging from hot water not working, power tripping out regularly and air conditioner not working. All rooms were cleaned daily, however due to limited maintenance over the years they were quite run down and not up to standard, especially given how much they cost. The distance between restaurant and the family apartments is quite lengthy, and then the distance to the shuttle boat is even further - which was quite challenging with little ones. There were a number of facilities not up and running (eg. No pool bar), and the pools were quite rundown.
Overall, we had hoped to be have a much more comfortable stay after spending so much money on what is advertised to be a high quality resort, however we’re let down immensely.

Eggs cooked to order. Staff were very accommodating to move our room to somewhere quieter from Night club noise coming from across the water

Meals were all very good. Room and bed were excellent. Staff were generally very helpful with a wonderful demeanour.
Frustration with resort bookings, as they were very willing to assist, but then rarely followed through on the end result.

The most exceptional feature was the positive and helpful attitudes of all the staff we met such as Moana, Lavinia, Jackie, Aaron and the ferry-boat personnel. The frequency of the ferry-boat service was a real plus. This is a good resort for a low-key, laid-back holiday for families with children and is relatively safe with plenty of things to keep kids occupied. Top marks for central location and ready access to the town and transport.
Breakfasts were average with limited choice of cereals and juices. Could have featured much more fresh fruit. The resort is somewhat dated and has obviously seen better times as well as still recovering from cyclone damage. Disappointing to see rubbish below the dining room deck area and the pool deck area. The Sunset pool was showing signs of wear and tear. Some of the advertised afternoon activities such as the crab race, historical talk and trivial pursuit did not take place. The board games cupboard could do with a refresh. For people with limited mobility, getting on and off the ferry-boat was challenging. There really needs to be ramps and railings on both sides of the water. The concrete staircase from reception to the fares is particularly dangerous without handrails. Similarly the descent to snorkeler’s cove would be easier with handrails.
We had no luck in getting the TV to work and WiFi was patchy during peak times such as early evening.

Beautiful island with lovely staff. Very convenient location.
We had trouble with the wifi the whole length of our stay. The staff were very helpful but the wifi constantly logged us out or wouldn’t function.

the resort was beautiful
The prices were very steep, the food was very hit and miss & there was no snacks! only thing we could get as a snack was hot chips. I never want to see another hot chip again haha

Nothing
This property is seriously misrepresented, it is not a 5 Star property, it would only scrape into 3 Star at best.

Fantastic location close to all Port Vila attractions but separate and quiet due to island location. Constant 24/7 water shuttle a huge plus. Clean and excellent staff. Over water accommodation was modern, big enough and had fantastic views.
The island has been updated around the entrance and the front section (Casio to Infinity Bar) but the other sections of the island are now looking dated and tired. Maintenance is required on paths, pool seating, and general grounds upkeep (e.g. lighting posts). Pricing is Australian level and clearly based on having a captive and mainly Australian clientele.

This is a beautiful location with even more beautiful people. The recent cyclones have compounded the post covid efforts to get back to pre-covid staff and services. Although there were a few insignificant issues, in all I would be happy to stay here again, and I am happy to recommend both this country and resort as worthy of your support. For those who are childfree, the resort offers a separate adult pool area. The child entertainment spaces located on the other side of this small island well within walking distance and with their own food and bev outlets.
The lack of a working phone in my room was an inconvenience. The cost for the accommodation was a little steep in its current state but this is only due to the damage done by the two recent cyclones. The people and the outstanding views made up for this.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Room was great, view fantastic. Great transfer to and from island. Food was very good, enjoyed themed nights, breakfast tasty. Grounds well kept enhancing beautiful environment.
Despite signage stating children under a certain age, where not to swim in pool area by the restaurant, as there is a separate large pool complex for children, this was ignored by some guests and not enforced by staff, which was disappointing . Would be better to enforce or remove the signage, thus eliminating potential for conflict.

the rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful
they are under staffed they aren’t maintaining the property there is plates and trash in the garden. snorkels and pool tables and other leisure equipment is all poor quality or old and damaged. flies everywhere, most expensive place we stayed on the island

Snorkelling and swimming.
Bungalows perched on hillside had a South Sea Island feel.
Good breakfast inclusion.
Dinner menu AU$45 was a little expensive for us.
Easy access to shops, Money exchange, ATM and cheaper food options.
No real gripes. Room and dinner price a little expensive.
5.0 / 10.0
pool was great and so was the customer service
Flies, so damn many and they were everywhere - to be fair Iririki cant control that, but there was NOTHING in place to ease the issue either. They were EVERYWHERE you couldnt leave anything uncovered. Guests learnt off each other to build tents with napkins to cover their food and drinks.
All of the above but with MOSQUITOS - so bad we gained the nicknames Spotty Wot and Dotty Wot
My bluetooth speaker was taken from the Bar area, my fault but I wouldntve had it out there if their speaker system was working consistently
Breakfast - the omelette guy kept disappearing LOL he probably had another job he had to do but still, we didn't pay alot of money just so we can hunt down the omelette guy
- the food in the chiller part was covered in gladwrap but you know people and kids, the food was unwrapped alot of the time
Pool - signs said Kids over 12 have to swim at the other pool, kids went to other pool which is quite a hike and it was closed! Come on kids want to abide by the rules but your need to be clearer.
Fix the Wifi - data is so expensive in Vanuatu and because there were flight cancellations we really needed consistent access to make sure we could get home. Also only consistently works in the bar area, good luck if your room is not near there.
Showers - Mine was a dribble and lukewarm
Please get some golfcarts or something, its a beautiful hilly island we would have explored more but I've had a stroke and I almost keeled over in the heat getting our bags up the hill to our room, I mean seriously.
Also I had a charge that cant have been mine, it was for food at the Casino, I know it wasnt mine because I dont know where the Casino is and I'd have to walk up the hill again.

We loved our fares, the pools, happy hour, the entertainment and staff.
A lot of maintenance issues, some facilities out of order such as the swim up pool bar..The gym is horrible and the "beach" area needs a bit of love...

We didn't have the best stay at Iririki which is super sad...because it isn't cheap. But the New Years Eve celebration was brilliant - it was the only amazing meal we had at Iririki, entertainment was great and we had a fabulous time. We also really liked the pools and having options of pools, but the big pool area needs alot of work, the pool needs a good scrub and probably some work on the light fittings hanging off.
The list is huge... Check in was late and slow and rude. Food was very poor, the only good meal was the Mee Goreng at the Infinity Bar. The service was terrible, we waited 3 hours for lunch one day - no apology, and it wasn't pleasant once it arrived. We were aware the island was getting back to staff levels post covid etc... but if you don't have enough staff, don't open up to full capacity. You couldn't handle it. Many staff were pretty rude, they were over being complained to which i get but it wasn't the guests fault From what I saw from guests, we laughed about it as weren't sure how else to react. Guests were trying to be patient and fair - but it really was poor. There didn't appear to be any solid systems or processes for the staff so they did what they could I guess. Rubbish and food trays left around (i took photos...as it took 3 days for a room service tray to be removed from our neighbours door). There was broken appliances sitting around, we had a broken washing machine at our entrance for the entire stay, a broken dryer on the other side of our walkway. We ended up eating off the island for most dinners as you didn't have to wait for ages, food options were so much better and was good to spend money on the mainland as well. We will definitely be back to Vanuatu, but not Iririki. Which is a shame, it could be so good, the property is amazing and unique but how it is being managed it very poor and quite sad. Friends that had been there before said it had deteriorated so much. Sad sad sad. We did have an AMAZING stay at Paradise Cove which exceeded all our expectations - so if you want someone amazing to stay in Vanuatu go there.
