Good with lovely refreshing fruit. Good amount. But I didn’t particularly like the bread - not what I’m used to.
Good cooling breeze through the room.
Evening meals very nice - though beef curry a little strong
Location meant a hot walk to town - but that was my choice as I’d prefer a view of the lagoon rather than Port Vila

la gentillesse du personnel - la qualité de la nourriture au restaurant.
la propreté - la qualité du petit déjeuner - le confort - le bruits des alentours.

I broke my Ankle while in my room and the staff where fantastic. The hotel gave me a room close too the Restaurant and at ground level. I will try and come again. The only negative is that the water at the beach is Polluted and so I could not swim there. You need to speak too your local government about fixing that problem. It is a big negative.
The food could have been better.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staff. Very picturesque

Annie from the kitchen and Rachel from reception were amazing.
The toilet kept making noises throughout the day and night.
The heater/aircon in the room wasn't working well.
Airport transport was asked to be booked in advance and I even checked with Julie on the morning of checkout, very disappointing that the driver was a no show and an alternate transport had to be arranged, this caused a lot of stress as this was my return flight home.

food was good. Staff very helpful.
Maintenance of facilities very poor. Hot water systems non-existent to flaky. we needed to change rooms due to an infestation of fleas or something like that.

the staff were so friendly and helpful, and accomodating. booked amazing trips for us, and taxis/buses. full of good recommendations. delicious good. i like the room, but a few things needed be fixed. there are kayaks there for everyone to use free of charge, and incredible spots of relax by the pool with a good book.
security was my main concern - I had my AirPods and phone chargers stolen from my room by maintenance workers (later returned), and my room key disappeared with no a reasonable explanation. the key was never found and locks were not changed. some articles of clothing went missing and I left a note for housekeeping to enquire about it. they were returned the next day without an answer, but then disappeared the next day and were never found again. i also had to ask multiple times for my aircon and fan to be fixed, and the fridge was not super functional, causing some food to spoil.

I loved the environment of Poppys. The staff at the resort were amazing. The location was beautiful and so central, it was really close to the main township, quite easy to catch a bus in. The resort has three pools, has a large eating space, is surrounded by so much lush greenery, and is right on the water, it's quite a tranquil space! Our room was perfectly sized, and met all our needs! We really had a fabulous time, and would 100% go back!
Nothing much to note, the only thing I would say is that the entrance to Poppys is down a fairly steep hill. So keep that in mind, as you will have to traverse that hill when coming and going, and this can be a little tricky when it's dark or has rained, unless organising transport to pick you up from reception, or of course if you're driving yourself!

perfect for our family of 4 with the ability to be able to cook food for fussy little eaters
I wish we’d been able to swim in - or told not to swim in - the lagoon.

Good views from the balcony
Problems with the water in the lagoon been contaminated. The beach was not called off and they have one small sign at Reception. When we booked in, we were not told about it. One of our party swam in the water And became sick the following morning, therefore we had to get to the medical centre. She was on strong antibiotics and huge injection.

bar/restaurant area and the view it had
the rooms were of poor standard, the location of room 28 in relation to facilities was also not satisfactory
3.0 / 5.0
Breakfast was fresh fruit, croissants, cereals, toast bread, tea/coffee brought up to the room each morning.
Quiet surrounds, apartment comfortable for our stay with small kitchen . Relatively easy walking distance to town for restaurants - if you don't mind a hill! On the whole friendly staff.
The Lagoon had some pollution problem therefore none of the water sports were available. The spa was not operating and the adult only pool was bright green, therefore not able to use. The electrics in the apartment kept tripping if air conditioners were on and you tried to boil a kettle.

Pretty resort on the lake. Lovely sunsets. Pier to dine on with lots of starfish around in the lake.
Friendly staff.
Nice restaurant area with tasty food.
Breakfast was served daily to the room, no dining in the restaurant for it. I'mot sure if that was a covid plan or their usual.
Easy short walk into town-once you get up the hill from the resort onto th main street that is.
Hike up a steep hill to my room.
Loose concrete steps down to main area.
Restaurant closed at 7pm which I think is too early to be closing for dinner.

Lovely little resort set in some well maintained gardens with lovely views of the lagoon. All the staff were really friendly and breakfast delivered to my room each morning. Really liked my room, decent size
A little far out from the town but there is a bar nearby.
Lagoon currently off limits but that's outside the hotels control.

Beautiful view, nice location on the lagoon, very peaceful and relaxing low-key vibes
Some things didn't run as smoothly as I would have liked, e.g. there was no one there to meet us when we arrived late at night. Also the coffee they make at reception is not very good - avoid!

Location to town, easy walk. Culture shock between resort and town. Feel very privileged to have grown up in Australia.
Bed was comfortable, not as large as appeared in photos. It was a queen, looked like king, but again, was comfortable. Thick pillows. We always byo but FYI for other travellers.
Quite spacious. Small wardrobe, no draws. 4 night stay would have been nice to unpack.
Air conditioning was valued. Overall good room, lovely view, good light with balcony doors open.
Quite clean. Information folder in the room was one of the best I've ever seen. Comprehensive, well presented, up to date and useful!
Some movies available at reception ( in the event of a rain,y day).
Sport hut was disappointing in terms of snorkelling gear and reef shoes. Would suggest byo.
Continental breakfast was Adequate. Restaurant is in great location on beach. Spotlessly clean.
First time in port villa. I think it was one of the nicer 3 star hotels. And while it's a 15 minute walk into town, there isn't lots to do in town so retreating to a nice resort after exploring PV was good.
Didn't discover any great restaurants in town so were happy to eat dinner here and not walk in the dark.
Just one negative. There seemed to be a bit of noise from barking dogs throughout the night. We love dogs but it got a bit annoying. Not Poppy's fault.
Would recommend this property.
Shower screen needs replacing (mould and soap scum build up.
Barking dogs through the night.
