Booked accommodation for “private bathroom”, manager told me that this means the bathroom is shared? Could not get in touch with booking.com, ended up with a horrific case of athletes foot. This is an absolute rip off. I wouldn’t stay here even in case of emergency. Any positive review has to be falsified!

I booked it because of the location. There was nothing that I could like about this property.
The building and the room are totally run down. The bed was uncomfortable. The grey-colored bed linen was far from looking crisp and ironed. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, to say the least.

Exceptional staff friendliness and the beds were some of the comfiest i have had at a hotel for this price.

close to King’s Cross for an early train
not overly clean or comfortable but lovely host.

Very nice and friendly staff. Location is perfect. Silence and hidden place near the central railway station. There is a heater in the room with our control for temperature. Hot water at all times. Cattle, tea, coffee and glasses.
Sometimes there was a smell from the kitchen of the bar from below in the evening.

The staff were lovely with excellent communication. the night time entertainment was also really good and when I went to bed I couldn’t here they ongoing karaoke so the walls must be thick. The patio area is cool too.
The shower is quite small which was honestly fine for us but I can imagine it might be an issue for someone of a larger stature.

Good location near the Kings Cross station (7 min walk). Calm and cozy place, comfortable room with hairdryer, iron, cattle and everything for tea and coffee. The staff was friendly and helped us with suitcases.
It’s a good place to stay in London for this price.
The room wasn’t very clean, bed sheets were with stains. The room was on the 3rd floor and it’s quite complicated to go there with heavy bags.

Very clean
Friendly staff
These are basically a few rooms above a pub, and so are OK for the set-up.
Glass bottle of water and glasses provided.
LNo lift, awkward to access the rooms. Staff helped with suitcase checking in, but were not available in the morning for checking out.
No breakfast provided.
No proper check-out, you just deposit your keys in a box and go.
Bathroom very small, tiny shower cubicle with too-short curtain, peeling paint.

Convenient location
The rooms are old, dingy, and generally shabby. There were issues with the plumbing that made the room disgusting -- when we flushed the toilet, the bathroom became filled with fecal smells originating from elsewhere in the building.
There were also issues with check-in: I had informed the host that we would be arriving after 10:30 pm and they acknowledged that they would hold the room for our arrival. However, they neglected to tell me that guests need to check in at the pub, which closes at around 11 pm. Fortunately, I arrived just in time, if I'd arrived 15 minutes later, I'd have been out of luck: there would have been no way to check in / use the room for the night.

All the fitting and furniture are so old and they claim to jave parking facility which is absolutely not true. The room was so scary and very unorganised.
I will never sleep there again and can never recommend
