Villa Mainard looks as it does in the picture and has everything described. Being self-catering there was everything you needed and if you needed anything extra all you had to do was ask and this was given. The owners were really lovely and helpful. You could even do your own washing and ironing for free. You are five minutes in either direction of a Pizzeria which is excellent value for money. Breakfast was a five minutes’ walk to a lovely patisserie with freshly baked pastries made by hand and excellent value for money. The bus stop for going to Verona and beyond was a five-minute walk and came every 15 minutes. The bus stopped directly opposite Porto Nuovo train station as well as stopping in Verona centre. The town has a lovely Gelato Place, and the mini supermarket has everything you need. Villa Mainard provided free bikes to use, and this enables you to cycle around the town. The room we stayed in was great. The shower pressure was excellent, the air conditioning was excellent too and you could even get one UK channel on the TV which was great should you want to stay in and relax. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. For the location, facilities and what Villa Mainard offers the price was very good. There was plenty of room for parking should you drive. I would stay at Villa Mainard again.

Lovely garden and quiet area.
Comfy bed.
Nice hosts.
Free use of bikes, great for travelling around the area.
AC is weak so you have to leave it running.
Not so close to centre but taxis and scooters are easy to find.

Trees just outside our apartment windows and we could open windows and experience the nature. You can’t get that in hotels in city centers.

Very spacious and well equipped property. Excellent public transport connection to Verona.
Wifi. Very short range. No stable signal in either bedroom. Constant disconnections. Very aggressive blocking policy e.g. no TikTok, Garmin websites. Unsecured network accessible to anyone without password.
Church bells and traffic could be heard clearly through closed windows.

The apartment was within a lovely house set in a quiet residential area. The owner and his daughters were very kind and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. There are shops nearby, and several cafes and restaurants. There is a regular bus service into the centre of Verona which we did use on a couple of occasions, but we also walked (about 50 minutes).
The apartment was on the ground floor with a little patio area for our use in the garden. It was spacious, comfortable and clean with a well-equipped kitchen area. We would love to return if possible in the future.

We stayed in a two bedrooms apartment, with two bathrooms and kitchen. All was excellent, the host was very nice, accepting an early check in, as we only stayed one night and wanted to see Verona center. The Residence has a nice garden and it deserves a long stay.

Rooms not cleaned properly, old room equipment

The apartment was well equipped, spacious, comfortable with excellent parking. The villa in which the apartment is located is in a pleasant suburban setting.
I can say no such thing.

The location in an old mansion in Verona was outstanding-convenient to services, transport, restaurants. Free on-site parking. Dogs allowed. Spacious room for 3 people including small kitchen and nice outdoor space in back. Most comfortable bed we ever slept in! No breakfast, however, there was a great little bakery a block away. Spacious bathroom with walkin shower. Everything was very clean. TV with usual channels. Convenient handling of keys, payment. Quiet.
Wifi was very weak in our room.

It's a nice building and the staff seems friendly.
I have stayed at a few apartments during my 8 days trip to Italy and this is my least favorite. I am glad we were only Staying for one night.
1. Very bad wifi
2. Musty smell
3.No heat in the bedroom
4. A little welcome basket would have been nice or at least a bottle of water or olive oil.
6. Location wasn't the best, we were not near to the city center or the train station

A friendly wellcome, easy communication, clean and spacious, well-equipped room. Located some 10 minutes from the centre of Verona. Secure parking in the garden. Good quality for the price paid.
Would be nice to have a chance to order breakfast.

Great villa and nice owner.
Down to earth feeling and no tourist vibes.
Felt like your own.
Slight out of the main area but did not bother us.

The room was very spacious and well cleaned. From our room, we could directly go to the garden, where we parked the car, so it was quite convenient. Near there is a bus stop, where we could go to Verona city center, which was very enjoyable and worth visiting.
There was a nice breakfast cafeteria. Definitely a recommendable place.
I couldn't connect to the internet, but once it was too late, I just didn't use it. And air conditioner was working when we arrived, but after we got back from Verona, it didn't work. It seems like the timer was set, but I didn't know how to deal with it.
