It was clean, modern and well kept.
It is clearly for young people. I am not a young person and was exhausted after an overnight 10 hour flight. It was noisy with people talking loudly and singing at wee hours of the night.

Room is spacious. Refrigerator
Too noisy bcuz many young kids. Dirty refrigerator. Poor breakfast. Need car.

Everything was clean
Large atrium allows many people to stay in the common part.
Small room with two bunk beds. Anyway this was expected as it's a hostel

Clean room, great staff, easy find parking, overall a quite place can rest well, the place has a good atmosphere also good view of forest around.
Walls r not noise canceling, i could hear clearly others talking....The cafeteria in the place doesnt work. However there a gas station yellow pretty close.
8.0
Friendly staff that let me park the car hours befor check-in. Free parking in the garage! Breakfast was included, it was a rather big buffet with typical Israel in kosher selection.
It takes a good 40 min walk to reach the old city, and it's a hilly city! Public transportation was not an option, as the system was just changed to a rather complex, for tourists hard to use, cashless system.

There was a bit of a mixup with the room after I changed the number of people via Booking from 3 to 5. Nevertheless, I received a room for 5 people even though they were fully booked.
We went to the Israel Museum, which is about a 10 minute walk from HI Rabin, during our stay and there was parking nearby the HI Rabin.
Breakfast was very nice and the beds are comfortable.
The floor of the room needed to be swept before we could use it and we swept it ourselves.

I liked that the hostel was close to the Jerusalem Marathon. Also the grounds were nice and the lobby was spacious.
There was no effort to find a solution so we could shower when we returned from the race and that was only 11am. Not a very late check out. They had an Israeli breakfast, but it wasn't great, and the dining room was huge and rather unpleasant. Next year we will stay in a different hostel or BandB
