Always the best hotel in Portsmouth. Fantastically run place.

Fantastic hotel. The staff are all truly incredible and go out of their way to provide the best service possible. Abi in the restaurant was wonderful.

Good clean accommodation and friendly staff but a lot smaller room and bathroom than expected.

Allocated parking. Convenient for what we wanted to see and within walking distance of Portsmouth . Gastro pub was across the street and food was good and staff welcoming.

The bathroom was really small and the room was also smaller than we expected. Going out the building and along the street to the next building to get to the reception was a little unusual .

Great place, great staff, you can't go wrong if you want some time away.

Room size, the staff and hotel in general. Excellent value for money. It's so good, we will go back next year.

Staff very friendly and good breakfast

Bathroom was way too small. Only 1 person could be in there at a time. Nowhere to put your washbags and makeup bag. No water in the room, let alone a fridge/minibar

Lovely, peaceful, calm stay.

The family bedroom was lovely, spacious, light and modern. Bathroom was lovely although the shower made a strange loud sound when on. Breakfast was excellent, some toast with the florentine and garden breakfast would have been nice. Excellent latte.

Lovely hotel, could improve

The hotel was very quiet, no noise from the street, king size bed lovely and comfortable. Rooms were clean, although a complimentary bottle of water would have been nice to go with the two glasses they put in your bedroom.

Filling kettle from the the basin tap . Breakfast service could have been better, not enough would you like more coffee or would you like anything else. No substitute for not having beans..

Lovely welcome and very helpful staff. Our journey had been very delayed so we were going to be too late for dinner, so we pre-ordered some sharing plates and drinks and had dinner in our room which worked perfectly.

Warm and comfortable place to stay in Portsmouth

Nice, warm and cosy room, in a quiet location. Close to bus stop. Easy to reach everywhere in the city by bus. The sea front is near. No parking, but there are a few places in front of the restaurant. Overall the staff is very helpful and will take care of possible issues. The restaurant is elegant and the food's quality is amazing.

Could have done with a larger TV for the room as it was all the way over the other side so when laying in bed hard to see.

Stay in February .

Room was spacious and quiet.Walk to the seafront only 5min so perfect location.

We didn't like shower as I think need a little maintenance. Apart from that everything was perfect.
