Super clean and cute
A bit too small

Room was extremely small. Not large enough to open two suitcases on the floor. No shelves or drawers or hanging space at all !

The location
We checked into one of the Apartments and had a very unpleasant experience. The Apartment was spacious, however, my colleague had to leave the Apartment at 2am in the morning due to the noise outside and beside his bedroom with the aircon unit. The hot water was luke warm therefore I could not take a shower. The toilet roll holder in the common bathroom fell off because the hotel used plastic suction to the side of the cabinet. The floor was not cleaned. The wifi was poor, only 1 bar most of the time and we needed wifi to work. We never used the breakfast vouchers provided, were told someone would drop them off to our room but never did. We called reception for someone to come and have a look at the wifi but no one turned up. I gave the feedback to the girl at the reception when I checked out and she said that the Manager will give me a call, she never did !

Good location, on the seafront in the heart of Manly.
The room was not cleaned properly.
Not the quietest of stays, but expected that.

room is good! except no window, but I cannot complain, not as good as noise proof as I can hear the club song on a weekend by 2 AM, but it not too bad
No window. Also the customer service for breakfast was not very informing, did not tell me the coffee is about to be taken away while I was ordering for breakfast, so I went to the loo for 2 mins, came back been told I have to pay for the coffee as it finishes @ 10 Am, which I could have got my coffee before I went to loo,the waitress and the waitor is not flexible even I told them I ordered breakfast before 10 am but was unaware the coffee machine will be taken away by 10am, and they made me paid for my coffee when I did not have to

The room itself was fantastic. Loved the bathroom and bed and had a stock of refreshments and snacks in the fridge which was really welcome after a long day and no time to visit a supermarket. The staff who showed us the way to the reception area and then checked us in were really helpful and friendly even though we were barefoot and very disheveled after a 20km Coastrek walk in the rain and through mud (hence barefoot!). The location along the beach and convenience of included breakfast downstairs were great.
Having the Steyne Hotel named the same as the accommodation part, but no signs to where we could find reception, made it tricky. We came from the carpark, not from the street, so we saw all these opening to the bar and eating areas but no signage about where to check-in. Thankfully someone was nice enough to lead us to it. It was a bit noisy throughout the night from other people staying there who were making noise in the hallway for a long time but otherwise fine. Also having a chain across the stairs leading up to the door that accessed my part of the hallway was a bit frustrating when the restaurant was closed including after breakfast. Meaning I had to go back to reception and up those stairs Would be nice to have signage saying there was access to the rooms from those stairs, even saying 'occupants only' and not have it blocked off.

Great location, opposite the beach in the Cotai.
Included breakfast was great value.
There seems to be some ongoing maintenance and cleaning issues. This was my second stay after receiving a credit for another visit with similar issues. We had no hot water at night and couldn’t shower. It was working in the morning.
There were also lollies stuck inside the doona. The cleaning wasn’t great, and there was a damp musty smell in the room.
It was also extremely loud from the music below and we couldn’t sleep until 3am when it finally stopped. I had anticipated some noise but this was extreme.
Unfortunately it seems there are some ongoing maintenance/cleaning issues and we won’t be back.
The location is brilliant, the breakfast was great. But unfortunately these other issues let the property down

Breakfast was excellent.
The night club underneath and the pounding sounds till 4am.

Great value for money, the rooms were clean and tidy and staff friendly.

The room shower bed and amenities were good
The breakfast was good but there is not enough service for cleaning tables and taking orders
The AC didn’t cool the room and there was no one on night duty who was contactable outside the nightclub to speak with
The noise from the nightclub was a loud thumping bass music absolutely impossible to drown out.
Not enough service staff in the morning for cleaning tables too. I felt sorry for those that were trying to cover it all.
They have tried with some acoustic measures to address the noise which did something but they need to address the bass and level of noise along with after hours service to address this
I had face mask with built in head phones to help but you shouldn’t need to do that to sleep in a hotel that you pay $250+ for one night.

Very good location in Manly with nice receptionist and that’s all.
I booked room during Easter in last min so there was no other choice. And my Easter nights were sleepless endless nights due to the noise from the bar. It was crazy until 1-2am that I could only sleep 3-4h a day and was totally exhausted in the next days. Soundproofing is very bad so not just the noise from the bar but also passengers lounge. Don’t book here especially in weekend or Public Holidays unless you can sleep with the noise. In additional, room is well-equipped with nextflix tv and coffee machine but quite small that I couldn’t unpack my M-size luggage and water kept leaking out from the standing shower due to the bad design which made the bathroom always wet.

Nice rooms, friendly staff
a bit noisy with the band and disco

Hotel Steyne is situated across from the beach, offering almost immediate access to bars, cafes, and restaurants.
Our room was above overlooked Henrietta Lane, a very busy and noisy location, well into early morning hours. Almost zilch peace and quiet.

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Great bathroom with lovely strong shower.
Everything was great until early on the second morning when there was a power failure and I couldn’t see a thing in the room cos there was no window. I had to shower n dress n pack by the light of my phone. Not the hotels fault I understand… but still v disconcerting.

Absolutely Top Spot …..across the road from the iconic beach, right on the corso corner. rooms upstairs for more expansive view. Great to open the window, hear and see the beach and waves.
Staff were excellent., friendly and helpful
The first room to which we were allocated had frosted glass, the windows were firmly stuck shut and , we assume, looked inward to a light well… not at all satisfactory… quite claustrophobic , so small there was no room for even a dining chair let alone a lounge chair.
When we asked to move , the staff readily moved us .

Location
Room was not clean, coffee machine had not been cleaned in a long time. Room was very noisy until 3.30am. ( loud music). Noise recommenced at 6.00am with a large crowd at the hotel for the rugby World Cup. Had breakfast (no seats!) with about 5000 drinkers watching word cup.

Pleasantly surprised by our little double room that had everything we needed for our brief one-night stop-over. No noise, super comfy bed. The location is fantastic. Ate at the hotel, great choice on the menu and all was delicious

Bathroom flooded and smelled of dampness

It was convenient and great value for money.
The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. One of the towels were dirty and there was a used razor blade that was left in the shower where the shampoo and conditioner was.

The rooms were clean and the location was perfect and just infront of the beach so that was a very big plus.
The room we got was above the pub and the music was loud and went on till past midnight. So if you are an early bird that will certainly keep you up.
