The Hosts were great and it was in a fantastic location
The bed was uncomfortable and bar prices were quite expensive.

I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. The decor was all 60s themed and done very tastefully, which gave the place some personality. Everything was perfectly clean and in good condition. But what really made the experience special was the hospitality. Steve and Karen made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. They offered a personal touch that you just don't get in bigger hotels, but did so without being overly familiar or overbearing. They also helped to make our experience in Scarborough as enjoyable as possible by recommending some great places to eat. They even told us about a place nearby where we could see seals, which really made our trip. If we ever come back to Scarborough, we'll most definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and welcoming. Pristine clean and modern rooms with retro ornaments and posters. Great location, sea view, easy parking, good and friendly bar. Easy walk to park and beach. High quality English Breakfast included.
Only snag is no lift but my disabled son managed the stairs easily.

Great location near north bay, and Peasholm Park. A short 20 walk to the main town via the cliff road has great views. Great breakfast and wonderful hosts. The bar is a great place to unwind and chat in the evening.
4.8
Fabulous breakfast well cooked and plenty of choice. Very clean and comfortable rooms and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing to dislike about this place

The breakfast was superb and although in a quiet location, it did not take long to walk to the sea, sample local restaurants and get to the South Bay which is more commercialised.
The bed was not comfortable and although the bathroom was luxurious and large, the bedroom was quite small. Your bed is not made up and your room is not cleaned (sink/bath - tidied etc.) unless you stay 2 nights. You do not expect your towels to be changed everyday but if you are staying at a 4* and paying a 4* rate, you do expect these things. There was no drinking water in the room and the bathroom essentials were minimal.

I stayed here with my 14 year old son we found it to be Immaculatly clean with attention to detail. Even came round the bar with a box of chocolates for the residents.
Breakfast was superb, gave my son an extra sausage at breakfast as the football team he supports lost the night before! 😂
The hosts very welcoming and relaxed. The bar was well stocked . Parking was free and on site. Location for us was brilliant,We were in a quiet residential street, however all the attraction are within easy reach it's just a five minutes walk to Alpamare swimming pool. There was a brewers fayre style pub serving fairly priced meals next to alpamare with a free pool table, the bus service from Alpamare to the South Bay for £8 return for and Adult and child. Peasom Park was around 5 minutes walk too. The hotel bar serves snacks on an evening although we didn't have any.
Overall I would recommend The Headlands. We will be returning.
Can't find a fault. The hotel had everything to offer.
