Excellent location, good value for money. Lovely staff
Decor dated
4.1
The view from outside on the street/carpark.
Bar staff was friendly.
The room was poorly ventilated and no view. Bathroom was very small and smell was pungent with the sink leaking. This was very obvious on entering room. Room 006 was also noisey when the room directly above is occupied, we had very loud noises from 4 am onwards when guests walked around. Breakfast was luke warm however was plentiful and edible.

Lovely staff friendly nice spacious room clean and tidy would stay again.
One or two restaurants on the beach front but expensive, you can get a bus for £3 to the main beach near town or walk it, which is about 15mins 20mins walk. It's too far if you have any disabilities unless you have transport .

Friendly approachable staff, The decor was nice and clean. Nice breakfast.
Ensuite was tiny, struggled to fill kettle from hand basin, ended up getting water on floor. Bed was uncomfortable had to sleep on top of duvet to not feel lumpy mattress.

A little more ventilation in the room that's all

Lovely hotel great place
Bathroom smelled awful

The location was ideal since we were going to a concert at the Open Air Theatre. We loved the view from our room, very relaxing! The reception area and downstairs bar felt very welcoming and a great place to chill, staff were lovely and happy to make conversation and help with anything you may need.
Room could’ve been bigger but the price was good for what we got. I suppose the lift could’ve been updated so that it runs faster and better, but it got the job done!

Location was good and the view from the room was spot on
Room was a bit unkempt. Spider's in the room and messy carpet
4.1
Nice location on the sea side, comfortable beds, friendly staff
Smell of cigarettes in the room, no hot water in the shower

Lovely reception staff very helpful. Breakfast staff lady on the door taking room number pretty rude tbh. Let dien all of the other staff. Rooms very comfortable. One of the cheats I didn’t remember her make was so helpful with our bags as we had loads and couldn’t manage she carried some fur us. Very nice lady. Bar staff not great tbh. Not much smiling to welcome you to the bar. Breakfast was very nice
Breakfast finished too early when you’re having a leisurely lie in on holiday a bit if a rush. We were told when booking breakfast was later by the booking company not the hotel. We went turn one morning and had our breakfast not realising it finished in 15 minute. We payed at reception but were not told it was finishing in 15 minutes. We only had cereal and coffee. Everything was chested away and when we asked if it was possible for some toast the sane lady who took out room number abruptly told my husband no. She was pretty rude which was disappointing as the reception staff were very nice indeed.

Since our last stay it had been refurbished.
Still some areas that are a little run down, mostly outside, but think that is going to get done as some scaffolding was up.

View, very clean
small shower room

Room wad beautiful, clean with a gorgeous sea view that I wasn't expecting 😍 Location was perfect for our gig at the open air theatre. I couldn't get a car park space, but there was plenty of parking on the street, reception provided the disc permit.
The only thing was that breakfast could have had more vegetarian options. e g vegetarian sausage

When we complained about the scaffolding outside our sea view room the staff moved us to another room which was better.
The view of the sea was amazing.
Reception staff on arrival were helpful.
Paid parking but well organised.
Very good location for where we were visiting,
£164 per night room was bad value for money - no free internet connection. Witnessed staff giving children free internet access.
No evening restaurant facilities
Horrible poorly made sandwiches in the lounge. Badly stocked “cocktail bar”.
Over night staff porter very rude, threw the keys at us on the counter
No hair conditioner in the room
Breakfast pre cooked and self service, expected more for the price.
Staff in kitchen at breakfast screaming and very vocal.

Great location in the centre of Scarborough, minutes walk from the open air theatre which was our destination.
Room was smaller than expected, but was more than comfortable, bathroom was very clean which is a positive.
Found a cobweb head height between the TV and Cupboard as soon as we arrived.
Breakfast has browns were nearly cremated.

Rhe property is clean and secure.
Be sure to read the fine print before booking. Free WiFi is only available in lobby, breakfast is not included and parking is not free.

The hotel was clean comfortable and staff welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was really nice and cooked to order.
No entertainment on just football !

Location
Hotel needs a complete refurbishment and though clean, hot water pressure inadequate hand towels should be provided, ventilation needed in bathroom, towel rail falling off the wall, widows disgusting.

Sea view was lovely. Staff was polite. Close to the beach and not to far from the town
Lack of windows opening.

Great location to open air theatre, Hotel has a car park and small beer garden, rooms high standard-our twin room was two adjoining rooms with fridges and coffee machine included. Very clean, and was ready before check in time.

A functional bathroom would be very much appreciated.... Toilet would not flush and water in the toilet was brown on arrival. Sink was backing up. Didn't dare use the shower. All newly installed apparently. Reported at 17.30. When we arrived back at 11pm approx we spoke to the Night Porter and he was less than helpful, absolutely no idea. Nothing had changed in the room when we got up there. Tried to use the toilet but still not flushing. Spoke to reception as hubby was packing the car, then he used the toilets in the lobby area. Receptionist very apologetic. She offered a complimentary breakfast but we had paid in cash so she couldn't do a refund. I was advised to ring and speak to the manager. Had breakfast but they were running out of food items and no more were available with half an hour of advertised breakfast time left. I had asked for a ground floor room on my booking as a preference but up on 4th floor. I had actually spoke to them when I booked a car park space, all done several months ago.

To turn up and see your name on a reserved parking sign on a car parking space at the hotel was the first great thing.
The reception staff were extremely friendly, and to have lemon and cucumber water on tap in the entrance foyer was a nice touch.
Beds were comfortable and hotel surprisingly quiet, didnt hear any hustle and bustle considering was busy with customers.
Absolutely 100% will stay here again.
Only negative, we decided to buy a breakfast in the morning, the hot food kept running out, bacon, hash browns at different times. It should never get to this stage, should always be topped up.
To see customers with full plates getting cold waiting for one product was not on. People were getting irate. It's up to the staff here to keep this flowing.

Great location, looks a little neglected from the outside but it's perfectly acceptable when you enter. Staff are great, rooms were spotless and recently upgraded. I'd definitely stay again. Short walk to town, peasholme park and outdoor concert venue
