Cooperative and smiling staff at reception
reception closed after 6pm. Difficult to access after that time. For such a location and the price of the room, surprising (but understandable in terms of personnel costs) that no presence.
Breakfast was good, and on a warm day served well on the outside. BUT for the price of 20Euros, served at table and little other choice. For such a hotel and the price, either breakfast could be included or at least have a buffet style...

Flexibility in time for breakfast
Breakfast starts from 8am, seems too late

Spacious, modern suite in a quiet neighborhood. Just 5-10 mins walk to the train station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious!

We had a corner room so there were windows on two walls to see out, one faced a small park.
It is located above a cafe with outdoor dining so there was some noise until the restaurant closed, not too loud.

Large and lovely comfortable room for our family of 3 looking over the small garden.
Hotel in a fabulous location and beautiful town.
Lovely walk through National Park to the beach

big room, fantastic breakfast, good facilities in room ie coffee machine, hair dryer
3.0 / 10.0
The room was bright. The shower gel and shampoo was good quality. Nespresso machine.
The heating was by an air-con and the bathroom floor was freezing with no floor towel. The kettle did not fit under the tap and one need to use a glass to fill the kettle. NO glasses in the room except coffee cups. No soap other than the shower gel. The entrance to the lift is through the restaurant and not accessible when the restaurant is closed.

The room was excellent and matched the images perfectly. The bed was huge and very comfy, and there were more than enough pillows. The bath tub was even larger than it looked like in the pictures. Breakfast included beverages, a yoghurt bowl with granola and fruits, as well as a croissant and bread with various spreads, which was actually more than we could eat. The hotel is located on a quiet road in the beautiful neighbourhood of Bloemendaal - we actually had a picnic dinner in a tiny park not far from the hotel.
The only thing I can think of is that the bath tub was actually massive - or at least much bigger than I'm used to. As a slightly-smaller-than-average person, it was almost difficult not to sink to the bottom sometimes.

large rooms, great style, easy check-in, bike rental, friendly staff, good breakfast

Super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds, location in Bloemendaal is excellent to explore the national park. Hotel is in good shape and I liked the industrial chic of the decor.
From a German perspective, 230€ per night in room 6 was too pricy. Room is smaller than expected, not easy to air on warm days, and it looks out onto the street, which makes it rather noisy. My criticism is not for the hotel per se but just for the room we got.

Big, nice, comfortable and clean rooms.
no elevator. I booked hotel for my parents, and my dad doesn’t walk so we’ll
up the stairs anymore and especially not with a big suitcase. I would make it more clear on the booking site that there is no elevator available.

Location within Bloemendaal is good and a nice spot from which to explore the beach, the national park, Harleem and, if you like, Amsterdam, if you want to escape the busyness.
Staff were great, no issues there. Room was clean, suitably presented and straightforward.
Could have done with more comfortable pillows and the breakfast could have been far better. The standard room lacked character and had a view of a side path. Room was also dark but we knew what we were getting.

The room was really cleaned and big. The breakfast was great, everything was fresh (juice, eggs and breads). The hotel is located close to the Bloemendaal station, which is really helpful. Besides that, the hotel has bike rental service available, which helped us to go to the beach and also visit the National Park. The staff was amazing, they were always available to assist us.

We spent the night in the loft with the bath, and this was super cosy and nice. The breakfast was very good too.
The only thing that was missing- slippers.

Had to change room due to assigned room not being cleaned.
No reception after 6pm.
No F&B.

The room was large, attractive, well equipped and spotless. We loved it. The ladies on reception were very friendly.
My only criticism is about the outside. The building could do with a fresh lick of paint and the outdoor area at the back is neglected and could benefit from being landscaped.

We had room 11 and the room looked much nicer on the picture compared to real. No view, very basic room for 170€

Location is nice
- The breakfast area is not wheelchair friendly, and I had to have breakfast on the table in the hallway in front of Another room
- thee room does not look anything like the pictures on the site
- the water coming out of the toilet in yellowish, which is rather disgusting as it looks as if it is never properly flushed
- there is a plastic stool in the bathroom that i presume is to serve as a shower chair. It is unsafe, unusable, dangerous and simply ridiculous! I was not able to take a shower because the reception closes at 6... and there is no one to call in order to get something sturdy to sit on. I suggest the hotel to either invest in a wall mounted chair, a shower chair... or even as proper garden chair... or else to remove the “wheelchair accessible” designation on the room
- there is a big difference between a room that is large enough for a wheelchair, and a room that is wheelchair friendly and practical for someone in a wheelchair.
- the hangers in the one cupboard are to high to reach if sitting down
- there is a double bed with a huge split in the middle. I suggest the hotel invests in a sheet that joins lit-Jumeaux (twin beds) together
- I felt pressured to have to check in before 6 because the reception closes. That was not nice
- obviously the hotel has to change the layout of their reception due to COVID-19. This layout unfortunately looks likes an exchange office rather than a warm and welcoming hotel
