Not bad. Reasonable.

Location is good. Reasonable price. Staff are kind. I like its simple breakfast.

Bathroom is so small even for me Japanese. The walls might be thin, so I could hear a lot sound from the next room.

Uncomfortable end to our holiday. The front of house staff and the cleaner were lovely though.

Downstairs the hotel is a cafe and restaurant. Bright, cheerful and modern in the main square. Good breakfast and nice staff.

Upstairs where the rooms are the hotel is drab, the room spartan, the shower fixed, ancient and dangerous- scalding water with separate hot and cold taps so you risk burning yourself. No wardrobe or drawers other than the portable type students carry around. Inadequate electricity points, wc with just one long noisy flush etc etc. after a month ‘on the road’ this was the worst accommodation we experienced in this price bracket- including youth hostels.ok for one night if you must but we stayed 4. Looked into 2 other rooms while there and they were the same. Maybe there are other better and more expensive ones - I don’t know but I doubt it.

Voor een kort verblijf (1 of 2 nachten) een prima hotel super centraal gelegen.

Ontbijt was super, alles werd ter plekke vers voor je gemaakt en aan tafel gebracht: koffie, thee, roerei. Er was zelfs versgeperste jus d'orange.

De kamer was klein, maar dat had ik wel verwacht vanwege de prijs, en dat vond ik geen probleem. De matrassen waren prima, heel belangrijk! Het badkamertje was echter super klein en je kon douchen terwijl je op het toilet zat ...... Het kunststof douchegordijn was vies (schimmel) aan de onderkant.

Very nice first experience in Haarlem. We could walk to explore city.

Breakfast was excellent. Very helpful staff. Location was excellent and an easy taxi ride to the cruise port.

Wish there was a small refrigerator.

Centraal gelegen, zeer goed ontbijt

Mooie ligging vrijwel in t centrum. Heerlijk ontbijt. Vers gebakken knapperig brood en vers geperste jus d orange. Vriendelijk personeel.

Afscherming tussen douche en toilet was slechts een gordijn waardoor veel spatwater en weinig plek om kleding droog te houden of vloer naar toilet droog te houden.

Could be better, not what was expected and shown on the pictures.

The room for the breakfast was very cosy and the breakfast was good. The ladies who served the breakfast were also nice and friendly.

We paid for the room in January and got the worst room in the hotel I think. Not the one that was on the picture of our booking. The toilet and the shower was in the wardrobe literally. The sink in the room. The shower was small and inconvenient. One day we were not given the second towel for the shower, the other day no shower mat. The booking said - the room with a view, well our vie was a brick wall and metal stairs.

Wonderful!

Everything! Especially Brit! We arrived a bit sleep deprived and disheveled and she led us directly to our room, explaining everything along the way. She was super friendly, helpful and delightful! The whole staff was great. The room was comfy, as were the beds. The location was right in the old town square, which was beautiful. The restaurant at the hotel was also great.

No complaints at all! We loved it!

Good on the whole

Received an advance email with instructions for entry, including a code, and a phone number if needed (no reception). Someone in the restaurant downstairs showed me the key cases. The description on Booking.com warns that the lift starts on the 1st floor - the stairs from the ground floor are good, not narrow, but be aware that there are over 20 if that matters to you. My room was a good size for a single, and had most of what I needed - radiator, electric fan, kettle, a good selection of TV channels, and very hot water. I would have liked an extra pillow. On Saturday night, there was very noisy club music nearby, but they turned the sound down after midnight, and stopped by one-ish. There was nothing on Sunday. Breakfast was served by different people for my 2 mornings, and there was somebody working on my floor, plus a cleaner, but no one introduced themselves, so I can't comment on staff. But they were all pleasant. The hotel was competitively-priced, and Haarlem is very pretty!

The shower wasn't working. It wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been warned - this wasn't a sudden temporary breakdown, there was no shower head and the drainage was blocked. I can cope with that, but it shouldn't have been listed as en suite with a shower or bath.

The room was a bit small.. The breakfast wasn't like I expected, no varieties .. not the best type of coffee, It wasn't really good for the value of money payed.

Good choice of breakfast --staff friendly & helpful

Whilst we were there it was exceptionally hot, so the bedroom was really v warm, so the staff gave us a portable fan to use.
