locatie was top. mooi gebouw. leuke inrichting.
rare indeling van de kamer. weinig licht. brand alarm ging meerdere keren onnodig af.

We stayed for two nights and the location was perfect. The walking distance both to the main station (to take the train to the beach or Amsterdam), where the parking garage ist located, as well as to the city centre are very short. A huge bonus: the hotel is in a very very quiet street, so the nights were highly relaxing.
We checked the offered breakfast first thing in the morning and then decided not to have it at the hotel. It will surely meet the standards every other restaurant has to offer and ist the same in price, but it just wasn´t for us so we got breakfast at another place.

Very stylish, beautifully converted traditional building. Excellent breakfast (but no working real espresso machine). Wonderfully quiet street. Easy reach to the centre of Haarlem and of course to the station
No espresso machine - a minor point

Facilities are amazing with a cosy area to relax in out of your room. Character meets comfort. Perfect location, accomodating reception.

Its a very funky hotel that has great furnishings and feels very relaxed. It is located very close to the centre of town but far enough away to be quiet in the evening/night
They seemed to be experiencing some plumbing problems. We had a blocked sink in the rook and I fear the drains were blocked downstairs which made the lounge area quite smelly. The reception were very responsive to our comments though and dealt with these as soon as we mentioned them.

Excellent location, close to the eating/shopping area and the train station. We loved the “living room” and the excellent free coffee. We specifically searched for an air-conditioned room, and the AC was very good: powerful and easily controlled. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
They were doing some exterior work at the time we were there and there were men outside our bedroom windows and walking on the roof overhead at 8:30 AM the first morning. When we told the front desk staff, they said they would address it, and they did.

Breakfast was nice. Good Coffee machine
My debit card's stolen. They didn't care. They put me in the same room and increased the price next day by 20%. Thank You. You would be speaking German and have no hotel if it was not for Britain

Pretty much everything. The quiet location, the ambiance, the extensive breakfast, the staff especially was very nice, the chickens. Since we used it as a base for travels, we liked its closeness to the train station.
Sometimes had a difficult time finding a comfortable temperature, the air conditioning was sometimes too cold even at higher temperatures. We did not discover the option of opening one window until we left , although since you needed the heavy shade to block the light, we could not know how effective that would be.

curtains didn’t fully close (am sensitive to light) and the breakfast (and coffee!) could be even better

Great friendly staff and room was stunning- The hotel was near the station and centre of Haarlem
The style and cleanliness
7.0
history, cleanliness, decors, location
no parking, spotlights in room too bright and roof too much noise when raining.

Room was good sized, bed was very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and the facility is nicely maintained. Being near the station was very convenient and the main part of town is just a short (7~10 minute) walk. We stayed here instead of Amsterdam and found that Haarlem has numerous restaurants and some interesting museums. The bus to the airport was super convenient. It definitely beats staying in an airport hotel if you just have a few days between flights.
Just a minor point, but breakfast seemed overpriced. It is convenient to have breakfast in the hotel, but there are other options a short distance walk away.

This is a real Boutique Hotel. Rooms are decorated with a unique design that not anyone will like. It took me half a day to get to love it. The location is good, but not in the center.
There was one night with half an hour of heavy rain which felt like drums. I wonder how it can be bearable if continued.

The rooms are really amazing, and in general, everything is very nice.
I had a terrible experience with the Chef one day, who offered me leftovers for breakfast since they had a photoshoot, but the lady from the front desk did tell him something. I didn´t get any apology or reward after that.
