Good meals at the pub/ restaurant
Parking just outside the room.
A few noisy revellers on Saturday night.
Bed wasn’t overly comfortable.
A/C unit was too noisy to leave on for more than about 20 minutes.

Check-in was easy.
LOUD! Staff emptied glass bottles into bins loudly until 10pm and then Trucks came and spent nearly an hour at 2am emptying bins and kegs at the window of our room. How they are scheduled to do that work at that hour when guests are paying for a nights sleep is unfathomable. We left at 4am. Could not get back to sleep.

Fantastic food. Great room service and comfortable bed. Plenty of space to park
Clicky regulars who stole all the chairs in the outdoor area into a corner when some wasn't even being used

The location was great. Really loved the children facilities at the Esplanade a short distance away

The north facing patio outside the room was good for drying our regatta sailing clothes. The room was clean, bright and adequate for our needs.
The parking space for the unit wasn't marked and was taken up by other vehicles so we had to park in the main hotel carpark.
The only way to fill up the kettle was to use one of the bowls to pour water into it because thge room under the basin tap is too tight.
The breakfast bowls were way too small for a good hearty meal.

very difficult to communicate with the staff, they should have someone permanent at reception.

we’ll set out, location to where we needed to be was great. restaurant served a mean 400grm steak cooked to perfection also the rsl is at the bottom of the road. lots of tradies stay there we were there during the week and at weekend never heard any rowdiness at all. close to shopping centre. friendly staff good parking.
room service every 3 days, just to make the bed and vacuum, no fresh towels unless you went and asked. important areas, bed and bathroom clean, noticed the tv was not. electrical socket near bed up by the ceiling😂

Good value. Fairly quiet. Good location.
Noisy neighbours on one occasion. Parking space taken as other guests used additional space for their trailer.

Balcony and outdoor courtyard were not cleaned, so we couldn't enjoy that as it was muddy.

Cleanliness of room. Carpets dirty, sofa badly stained, shower loose in wall air vent hanging from ceiling. A bag a smelly fish bait in bathroom cupboard.

Love the location of the Waterloo Bay Hotel as so convenient for all my needs. I'm an Uber driver so arrived after closing hours. The key was retrieved as per email instruction, should I be running late. This was so handy as pick up was from the onsite liquor store! Friendly staff attended to me immediately so I could secure the key to my room!
Only noticeable thing was no hand towel nor bathroom mat was supplied. There was a notice in my room if I needed anything just to ring a certain number within the hotel but managed without these items but definitely missed the floor mat stepping out from the shower!

The restaurant meals was excellent. Staff were efficient and friendly. Staff in the gaming room and bar area were excelleny.
The laundry was not clean and was not aware that it took a $1 & $2 coin....I only had $1 coins.
