Pas de débit pour l'eau dans la douche et eau froide
Odeur d'humidité moisissures
Beaucoup de monde au restaurant (on a fait la queue 25 min à 7h30 pour 2 crêpes)
Route dangereuse à traverser pour accéder à la plage (pas de feu ni de passage piéton, voitures qui roulent vite)

Customer service needs to be improved by the crew. Additionally, the rooms need to be improved because it us very old. All facilities need to be improved since everything is old.

Such a disappointment ! Im asking for urgent help concerning my booking which was booked for HB BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED THEY SAID WE ARE ON RO ONLY AND CLAIMED THAT WE HAD TO PAY AGAIN !

The ducks, the garden, friendly staff.
Old room, very old furniture, dirty walls and wash room, broken AC ( the outside plastic cover fell down and we could see how dirty and full of dust it was, also the cover was sticked with some scotch ( tape)). They need to shut down the hotel and refurbish it. Poor buffet, unclean table clothes, old scratched plates, dirt is everywhere!!! for the money we paid, they could have done better.
I'm not sure, given the condition of the hotel , they put clean bed sheets. The housekeeping always forgets to put coffee in the room. They only put decaf and tea ( two things I don't drink!)

Property is very old. Old furnitures, old air con, toilets feel dated and old, tv was 720p resolution. Lights were not working in few areas of the room. Found insects in the room. Hot water was not available for all 3 days of stay.

Location is maintained. Staff is very nice and makes an effort to help where they can. The resort's private beach opposite the complex is a huge bonus.
Very good local fruit juice stand aside that beach!
Tennis courts need an update. I guess the resort cannot do anything against the open sewer around it. Hope the wind blows in the other direction.
One fridge felt hot to the touch - the other did not. Doesn't feel safe.

Small and cosy hotel exactly what we needed before leaving paradise island. The staffs are absolutely fantastic... always ready to assist and advise.
It has a Greece kind of look / vibe. Very much like staying in a cave which was a new experience for us.
Entertainment during the day, evening and morning too...it's a pity we were there for a night only.
Beds are very comfortable. After we checked out we were still able to use the pool which was a plus.
We should have probably booked all inclusive as the food looked delicious.

The hotel is simply amazing, looks like big beautiful tropical garden. Everything is very clean and numbers are very clean too. The hotel beach is probably the best on Mauritius, hotel provides personal sunbeds and towels. Food is amzing and big variety of food. The staff is very very helpfull, ready to solve any questions. Big thanks to managers Akshita and Steeve for very warm welcome.

The property is pretty with lots of lovely gardens. Good location.

There was a nice variety for the breakfast buffet. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The resort is structured in such a way, that even though the whole place was fully booked, it didnt feel crowded at any point.

Environment, garden, food, swimming pool, beach.
Unfortunately, it happened at the bar* that we were charged 570 rupees on the bill for one cocktail instead of 270. We announced the error and did not accept the next cocktails as a present, so they needed to cancel the bill and *make a new one. At that point, the stress level of the bartender skyrocketed. So, we were pretty sure that it was not a kind of a mistake, rather an intentional attempt for extra salary for the staff. We also assume that it is not acceptable for the management,* which was the possible reason why they tried to serve some extra drinks without cancelling of the order. This behavior is also unacceptable for us. That is why we tell the story to others.
So an advice to all: *Double check *the bills *all time in the hotel and also in Mauritius. (Yes, serving at double prices is a habit on the whole island). Stay cool and do not let locals to destroy the spectacular feeling of your holiday and the region. The island and the hotel are awesome and 10/10 from every other aspects.

Check in and out was good. I've got some food allergies and the chef did spoil me with special prepared meals. we requested extra pillows and they were there with it in minutes. Nice size room. With a small view of the ocean.
we asked for extra water in the room and they provided. The water pressure in the shower was good.
The shower glass panels was not clean, not when we arrived and not during our stay. They have to work on the cleaning side of things.
Shortage of swimming towels. No one at the Swimming towels station, you lucky if you get him there.
Need swim shoes to swim.

The resort had a lot of facilities like swimming pools, restaurants, a spa and a games room. It was very peaceful and close to the beach.
The service was quite slow sometimes. We had to wait 30 minutes to get a beach towel. Our room didn't have bath towels one morning and when we requested them, they were flung on the chairs outside. They were wet and dirty... We had to ask again for some clean dry towels and we waited until 4pm to receive these! The shower was quite small too.

- One housekeeper kept asking for tips
- Had to call reception 3-4 times to get an iron
- Asked the reception 3 times to get the light bulb changed as it was flickering in my bathroom. Even though the manager on duty (2nd day) had told the receptionist to follow up on that, it still didn’t get changed and I finally had to show my frustration then it got changed on the 3rd day.

The check out experience was great, the best I've seen compared to other resorts on the Island.

Only one gown and slippers provided in the room for a couple.
Only vanilla tea in the room. No sugar,milk,coffee or drinking water.
I was expecting the Casuarina Standard in Cape Town.
Check in was a bit of a wait,more than one hour waiting for booking.com to confirm with the resort.
Realised this is perhaps just standard to give only a sheet in Mauritius, but I was cold in the night and wish there was a duvet or blanket. Air-conditioning settings only on cool.

We had a wonderful experience at the Casuarina Resort and Spa. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. 1. Management staff was exceptional with us! But hotel staff friendliness needs some improvement. 2. We loved the room space but housekeeping was not at its best. 3. We've enjoyed the entertainment crew on friday. 4. The pools were very nice too. 5 the spa was short but okay. 6. Kids friendly, enough activities to keep kids busy.

Delay for check in at arrival - 30 mins wait time. 2 Room maintenance and cleanliness issues - no tonality on one phone, Water tank issues in one room, safe box not working in one room, tea in one room no tea in two rooms, slippers in two rooms out of three. 3. Basics ex wifi change in rooms not mentioned anywhere.

The buffet was amazing. Been to several Hotels in my life but the food here is unbeatable. The guest relations manager, Akshita, was very kind and welcoming.
Maybe the reception staff can be more faster in responding to queries made via phone in the room. I had to walk down physically to the reception twice.
