Vista meravigliosa, camera recentemente ristrutturata e cibo molto buono sia a colazione che durante la cena.

Our host was the absolute best. And the food at the adjoining restaurant is fantastic.
It's a pretty steep hike up a hill to get there but the views are nice.

We felt so welcomed by the family running this place, from the moment we arrived we felt the warmth and genuine hospitality. The fresh delicious locally grown food and wine made us experience local culture. Silvio would grab fresh figs from the trees to make us tastes. The place is well located, close to most Amalfi towns in the coast and also cool because it is a bit higher in the mountain and surrounded by trees (and not concrete). Beautiful view of the sea. This gems really made our stay on the Amalfi coast memorable, I could not recommend it enough!!

It's a beautiful property. The staff were helpful and cooperative. The room was very nice & comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea. They had ample parking at the property.
It's difficult to get too. There is a restriction of time by which you can check in. The reception is not open round the clock.

Such an unusual and beautiful property with views over the Amalfi coast. Goats, ducks, peacocks, cows - fresh produce farmed by Silvio and a quiet bolt hole for an Italian adventure. If you’re looking for a beach stay with a pool this property isn’t for you - but if you’re looking for an adventure in the mountain this is the perfect stay for you.

Picturesque location, amazing view opened directly from the window of the room. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was top notch. We were warmly welcomed as our close friends. The rooms are spacious, clean with high ceilings and decorated with soul. They had everything you need. I hope we will visit this wonderful place again and again. Many thanks to Slvio and his whole family.
It was a little difficult to drive on narrow and winding roads in a big car. Took a couple of days to adapt.

Best view of the Amalfi coast. Staff were the best, it was definitely the best hotel in Agerola - and maybe in all region-. It definitely exceeded our expectations, the cleaning is impeccable, the food is amazing, the location is the best, the view is the greatest and the location is right in the middle of all the touristic places.
It is the best hotel in Agerola, the location give you a great view from all Amalfi coast and is perfect to visit all the beaches around.
The best location: You stay on top of the mountain, can appreciate a great view of Amalfi and a 20 minutes driving from all main beaches - Positano, Amalfi, Atrani, Furori. The host Silvio helped us on guiding us where to go and where to stay, even where to park the car.
EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS.
Me and my bride could not be more comfortable, the host Silvio was great and very helpfull, we felt like staying with our family.
THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD IN A HOTEL.

Sylvio and his sister run a wonderful agritourism spot. If you want to escape and have amazing breakfasts and dinners all in one place - here you go. The room was just right, and the balcony was a nice addition. We found numerous trails just above the site to hike and run that we saw very few people on, it was wonderful.
If you sensitive to "farm" smells, you may want to reconsider. This is a pro or a con, depending on what you are looking for. I would recommend being very clear on the costs of dinner up front and perhaps pay as you go; this was not an issue, but may be slightly unpredictable if you stay for more than one night...

The view! The uniqueness! the hospitality - all excellent! the wiener dogs were also a bonus.
I would have liked the option to have breakfast later, but the staff was very flexible and hospitable.

Silvio and Anna were wonderful hosts, always looking to help, whether it was directions, suggestions, touring, meals, extras... Basically anything.
Anna makes the most delicious pastries and cakes, and the meals are made from some of the farm's produce.
A large variety of wonderful fruit is always available for taking along to hikes or the room.
The rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable - especially the beds - and new, each with a wonderful balcony with a view of the beautiful coastline.
... And the view... Is amazing.
Silvio took us on a small tour of the farm and to "the balcony" where you can catch the breathtaking view of Amalfi from 700m above.
To top it all, they were very generous, and sent us off when we left with two bottles of their refreshing homemade wine.
An amazing stay, which we recommend to anyone travelling in the area.

Gorgeous views over amalfi coast. Very peaceful farm where you can relax and unwind for a few days. The staff are very friendly and willing to help however they can. Very nice sleepy village nearby.
The location is a bit far from the village. Silvio was kind enough however to collect ia from the village when ee arrived by bus. Otherwise it would have been a tough walk up a very steep hill with baggage. Once you get used to the walk it's not so bad but it is very isolated in general. An hour away from amalfi by bus. Unfortunately it rained heavily for two days during our stay. This obviously isnt the fault of the place, but like much of amalfi there is not much to do when it rains so plan accordingly.

The location was great to enable us to enjoy great walks, locations to visit on the coast as well as the links to Pompei, Herculaneum and Vesuvius
Silvio, Anna are a great combination and have a great team - very easy going and good fun!

The hosts were lovely and accomodating. The view from the room is exactly like on the pictures (everything else as well, so there will be no dissapointments when you get there). The rooms are clean, the breakfast and dinner are made with heart and soul :) Their local grapes are a real treat & and their own wine something to definately try.
A real bonus is an actual car parking area (a rare thing in Amalfy coast).
If you are looking for a family run hotel, where you feel welcomed and appreciated (not just a client), then this the place to stay at.
We would have loved our two rooms to be closer to each other (like we requested beforehand) but this did not ruin our stay.
Rent the smallest car possible (that still fits your luggage) when visiting - some of the streets are really narrow up in the mountains. This has nothing to do with the hotel :) just a tip when visiting the area.

Silvio’s property is filled with memorable amenities that provided us the best experience for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. From the mesmerizing lookout views of the cities that decorate the Amalfi coast, the cozy living quarters, the delicious food that can accommodate to any dietary plan (especially for our diet, which excludes eggs, onions, garlic, and meat), the warm hospitality of Silvio and his team, the wonderful company of other guests, the perfect location to reach any of the major cities, and Silvio’s wonderful small dogs to brighten your day, Agriturismo Mare e Monti is the best place to stay in for your trip to the Amalfi Coast! I will recommend this location to any and all who ask for my advice on where is the best place to stay on a trip to the Amalfi Coast!
This isn’t about the property, but more about the buses. The last buses are pretty early, so if you want to eat dinner in another city without having a car, it gets difficult to come back without having to walk hours.

The viewing point is extraordinary. And we definitely recommend to have dinner here. Silvio makes the best wine and Anna makes the best gnocchi. Best we had in Agerola!
A lot of sweet with breakfast

Silvio and his family are fantastic hosts and always made sure we feel comfortable. There are many good hiking options in the vicinity. The view from the room was great! We would always come back here.

We loved everything about Silvios property! The family is so welcoming and makes you feel like home! I would highly recommend it to anyone, the farm is beautiful, the view is amazing and the food is unbelievably good!
This is definitely one of the most special places I have ever stayed at! Thank you to Silvio & his family!

Reception was very friendly, and now when we think about that, all of the staff was very happy to work there, and very happy to help in any way needed. The view is breathtaking, especially during the sunset. You can take a walk around Silvios charming farm. The location itself is also perfect if you are visiting the chaotic and very touristic Amalfi. We couldn't wait to come back to the peaceful oasis called Mare e Monti.
Breakfast was delicious, freshly squizzed juice from their own oranges, egg omlette, fresh donuts and croissants and a lot of other tasty food will kickstart your day with no problem.
And for dinner they will change menu every day. All ingridients are fresh and local, some even from their own garden.
Rooms are perfectly clean, beds are almost too comfortable. After already been 10 days in Italy this was a perfect way to end our holiday. We are definitely coming back to Mare and Monti.
p.s. They adore animals, especially dogs :)

This is an absolutely beautiful natural location with the most amazing views of the cliffs and sea! Silvio was an incredible host and made us feel like we were family in his home, he really went above and beyond with his generosity and kindness, and made sure we enjoyed everything! The guesthouse has a fantastic restaurant where we had both breakfast and dinner during our 2 night stay and all of food and wine is grown and made by the family, absolutely delicious!! Thank you Silvio and Feliche and the rest of your staff and family for a fantastic last two days in Italy! We hope to come back again!!
That we didn't stay more days or bring a check in bag to bring back some of their fantastic family wine and limoncello!! Next time!!

Great place, Silvio and his family are very well coming . Very clean and confortable room. Very good bed. Home made food and delicious... excellent breakfast...

Your stay at Mare Monti will most likely begin with the owner Silvio welcoming you - to your room, to his beautiful restaurant terrace and also immediately into his family. His hospitality and generosity is something you will continually experience during your stay. Be it during breakfast (which includes home made products and vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options on request) or during the day when he helps you organize a scooter rental or recommends walking tours in the area.
When you’ve spent your day exploring the amazing Amalfi coast you will return, hungry and thirsty. This is where Mare Monti shines yet again - the kitchen produces delicious meals with lots of home grown ingredients and home made pasta. The wine is also fantastic, and the limoncello at the end completely seals the deal. You slowly wobble into bed, full and satisfied only to do it all over again tomorrow…
The rooms are clean, (ours was) newly furnished and had a cute little balcony with a view of the Mediterranean. The prices for the food may well be higher than elsewhere but are totally fair and justified for the amounts and quality you get.
We would love to come back one day but until then I can only hope some of you get to experience what we did.

Fantastic family run agriturismo with the kindest service minded staff. The room was clean and equipped with all things needed and a large balcony with sea view.
We, my husband and I, enjoyed 3 days at Mare e Monti - good local cooking, with fresh local materials.
An agriturismo in beautiful settings, and cared for by the family.
we recommend Mare e Monti. Thank you Silvio and Anna.

Since the beginning of our stay, Silvio Anna and Felice were extremely helpful and always made sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed. Food was amazing, bedrooms were cozy and clean. Great for couples. Near all the hyped places in Amalfi coast

If you are looking for an amazing Italian atmosphere and stay in the Costiera Amalfitana, this is the place. Located in a lovely village up to the mountains, this place will drive you in a real italian authentic life experience . When Silvio, the lovely owner will show you the Costiera’s top view from the Belvedere, your heart will fall in love with this place. With all his lovely family, he manages this place with passion and heart. Basically you’ ll be surrounded by nature, animals, fruits from his farm. Cows, chickens, fresh tomatoes, vineyards, peacocks, pigs, funny dogs around, will bring you inside a real authentic atmosphere. It s beautiful to see the farmers working on the typical terraces floating between the sea and the sky and taking care of the tomatoes plants. The food is cocked in a simple and authentic way: which in the end is amazing. Like to be eat in a real Italian family. If you are looking for an easy, not sophisticated place where taste the italian flavors and atmosphere, this is your place. It s always fully booked, but let’s try to book it!
Everything was great.

The service was outstanding and really made you feel at home. The restaurant used all home grown food and was excellent. We received an upgrade to our room for no additional cost on our first night there. This is the best place to stay if you are visiting the Amalfi coast. 10 out of 10
