Lots of character, spacious and well appointed. The two reception areas and outdoor space provide options for a larger group. The smaller sitting room was cosy with nice recliner sofas. Nice big kitchen and laundry. Having two full size bathrooms means no queues!
The location is on a main road but still quiet with easy access to Angaston. Lots of parking and surrounded by vines.
A really great place to base yourself to explore the Barossa.
Being part of the Lambert estate means discounts were offered on dining etc. The food was excellent and a nice setting.

Very comfortable and home like. Loved the gas log fire. The outlook including birds & kangaroos were delightful. Very easy to get to other Barossa towns.

Huge property, heaps of room for our group of four. Great location, very close to Angaston which has a supermarket and plenty of cafes. Weather was a bit chilly but the house has great heating. Would love to come back again when the sun is shining!!

The house is in a great location with a car as it's just out of Angaston it's spacious and well equipped. Check In was easy and completed at the cellar door. The bed was comfortable, the shower fine and internet was useful for personal use. Owners pleasant and engaging. Overall a very good accommodation in the Barossa that is competatively priced.
Unusual to have wifi without a password and the house is due for an Autumn clean
6.0
The house is located on the western side of a hill surrounded by newly planted vineyards which are part of Lambert Estate. The two double bedrooms were on the road side of the house, while the twin room was on the western side, next to the kitchen/dining area. With two lounge areas and two separate bathrooms, there is room for mixed age groups. The ducted AC was welcome on a warm afternoon. There is ample parking space adjacent to the back covered area, making it easy to take luggage inside while it's raining. Angaston is a short 5 minute drive away with some excellent cafes and restaurants, grocery store, cheese shop etc.
The house and surrounds are currently undergoing some beautification landscaping which will be of benefit for future stays. The front rooms are quite close to the road with passing traffic being loud for lighter sleepers.

The location and the beds were great infact the house is absolutely beautiful
Just a bit noisy, had some trucks coming and going. I know they are fencing but would be good to come back when it's all done.

Lambert Retreat is well situated just outside Angaston village. The house is spacious and very well equipped in every way. An excellent base for exploring the Barossa, within easy reach of wineries and restaurants.

Comfortable house with plenty of space and efficient heating system (it was very cold overnights). Very convenient location close to Angaston and wineries. Clean and tidy and well appointed. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Expected it to be in a quiet location and have vineyard views but front of house faced a road and there was therefore some traffic noise.
Pots and pans are a bit tired.

Beds were extra large lots of space. beautiful size bathrooms and showers
Beds were a little hard
