We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this 110 year old Heritage Cottage in the centre of the village. It is essy walking distance to many Eateries and a local pub. Jim and Jeanette made us feel very welcome and supplied us with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread etc for breakfast plus a lovely bottle of bubbly. The hosts also provide a BBQ and bikes and nothing was too much trouble so highly recommend and look forward to our next visit. Plus the bed was very comfortable
All was excellent

Fabulous period cottage in the heart of Angaston. Very generous breakfast provisions provided and the free chauffeur service to/from a restaurant really made it!

We loved the location, with cafes and shops only a minute away. The owners were so helpful and friendly and provided plenty of sightseeing and eating recommendations, plus left us very generous supplies of provisions. The cottage was very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay again.
The fact that it was very conveniently situated on the main road did mean some traffic noise in the front bedroom, but it quietened down by evening so wasn't an issue.

Cottage is like staying in a museum with modern bits, like bathroom and kitchen. All the space a a bit wasted on only 2 of us. Good location in main street of Angaston, info provided by Jim was handy for finding eateries and wineries.
We happened to experience cold weather on our stay, so needed to light the slow combustion fire each arvo to keep the cottage warm, at least the loungeroom. Fire starters, kindling and wood provided which was nice. Only a problem if you didn't have experience with wood fires, or couldn't avoid Barossa cold snaps.

An absolutely charming old cottage. Everything you needed was there and a great location.

Beautifully appointed cottage with no little detail unthought of. Jim and Jeanette were so kind as to have a selection of fruit/veg/milk/bread/eggs/bacon AND a chilled bottle of bubbles waiting on arrival. There were even fresh flowers put out. Incredible thoughtfulness which is often overlooked these days, we appreciated it all. I cannot recommend this stay enough.
Nothing to not like!

The beautiful homey feel to the cottage. The wood fire was so lovely in the winter time. Excellent linen and comfy bed. Breakfast was included as cook your own and had everything you needed. Is a great location to reconnect as a couple, spa bath, wood fire, record player and lovely shady area to enjoy wine that you’ve picked up from near by wineries. If technology and having everything shiny and new is your thing then is not the place for you, but if your into romance and spending time together I think you may enjoy this cottage.
The shower wasn’t quite fabulous as it could be. But in keeping with an older house.
